Personality: Zoran was once a hot-blooded child. He met everything with open eyes, heart, and mind. Ready to explore what was new and challenging. However, this changed upon seeing an injustice towards his cousin. A man who wanted nothing less than to speak openly about Dragons being free. A preposterous notion … sure. But to see him ruthlessly beaten for it and hung by local thugs was too much. For years he came to terms with the truth; that the world was survive or die. In the process, he tempered his passion into a rather cold flame. While his normal, hot-blooded, impulsive, and crude self; he is now distant and terribly rebellious against anything that threatens his life. To him, all falters when measured up against his own life.

In the aspect of dragons, Zoran has maintained a balanced, but healthy, fear and caution of them. He has attempted several times to view them as he would a human, for they surely has the intelligence to be considered one, if not even more, but he finds it near impossible to look beyond the terror of their beastly forms. When he attacks, he mercilessly and without hesitation goes for the kill spot when feasible, and almost, if gazed upon close enough, looks to revel in the bloody embrace. Even his partner has not seen the surface of his heart yet.

Short Biography

Still rather young and naïve, Zoran’s life has been mostly average. All but one tragedy has occurred, though it’s left a black trauma on his otherwise burning soul. As a boy, his father, a war veteran and renowned soldier of Ambrosis; known as the “Crescent” on the battlefield, was always strict and supremely distant from him. This created strife in his life, for his mother, a bread maker, was often stuck between the two. On one side, he would hear words of reassurance, on the other, he would hear pleas between the cracks of his parent’s room for his father to give him a chance.

He never learned why his father was displeased with him. The man had up and left when he was seven, with no warning and barely a goodbye. Upon the eve of Zoran’s twelfth birthday, he was witness to the murder of his cousin. The violent and isolated death went unsolved, finally kick starting the truth in his mind. Years passed and eventually he would leave home with his father’s blade in his hand.

Upon arriving in the tropics of Solis, tales of “The Oni” had supposedly followed him. He had done but a few simple tasks on the way there. Slayed a killer bear terrorizing a town, stopped a band of bandits that plagued the edge of Ambrosis, and admittedly—on accident—caught an infamous criminal known simply as “Jace the Ace”. He recently joined the White Dove guild in hopes of finding his purpose in the world.
