Current The Wolfman (starring Lon Chaney Jr.), Silver Bullet, The Howling, and Dog Soldiers are all good werewolf movies, what are you on about?

@wheels depending on the context you can often get away with leaving the title for last. If you insist on a title while writing, a "working title" is a placeholder until you think of something better

Bio

Bios are stupid; oh, sure, everyone can see them, but I bet nobody reads them.

Rude hand gestures and shpadoinkle, there.

No, I wasn't drunk when I wrote this, but I was very tired.

I didn't mention them but can easily add them in. They could be waiting in his SUV or at his side. Whatever helps the story.

it's not important, no worries; just keeping details straight in my head and not sweating whether or not my questions make me look foolish :P
@Stryder BC Did Brayden bring his dogs? I don't see any mention of them in your post, but I thought I'd check anyway.
Alright, well, no further response in over 24 hours, I'm going to take that as a "no".

Moving on, I'll strive to have a new post up by Monday. Sound good?

OK, working on my next post as we speak!

Can I also join the rp?

Items: A headset and a hat and red shirt and scattershot (just a shotgun) and five shotgun shells and a metal bat

First: Slow down, man. Double posting won't change the fact that whatever time it was when you posted, it was around 4am for me; I was asleep.

Second: sorry, but this character is not a fit at all. If you want to reread the original post and try again with an original character, you may, but this character? No.
@Azure BubblesOh, you got me scheming, now! I know just what I'm going to do, muahahaha XD
Great posts, so far!

No rush, going to let the other two have a chance to post, and y'all can even interact if the characters are so inclined. I'll announce here when I'm going to post.
@RickyG85

An interesting first IC post… What did you envision for our Character’s arrivals?

Would you like us to each arrive separately?

Hmmm... I guess I could have written y'all into the scene directly, I thought it would have come off as railroading.

I leave it up to y'all if any of you know each other already, but it would be convenient if all the characters found an excuse to be there, and somebody sets off the plot hook/"takes the bait".

"You're all hanging out in a tavern" and all that jazz.

Is that a satisfactory answer? I just don't want to be controlling, but now I worry I haven't given y'all enough to work with...
A quiet town of no significance to anyone who doesn't live there, "Nowhere" is a place that has come to appreciate the lack of excitement in these trying times.

In fact, some have taken advantage of the opportunity to move in seemingly to escape the madness and chaos of modern living. It's almost like a vision of "the way things used to be"; clean streets, the locals are respectful but not unfriendly, the kids play outside and the teens draw the line at benign vandalism around Halloween, most of the time.

And yet...

There is a place like this in every town such as this one- A place that some just instinctively dislike; a specific location that some people just can't help but avoid, surrounded by rumors because nobody seems to know the history of it/just where it came from.

Intriguingly's is one such place.

By all appearances, it's just an antique shop. Nobody knows where the goods come from- they never see trucks or other deliveries, even the mail service doesn't seem to go there!

The owner/operator doesn't ease any confusion or tension; "Lewis Orpheus-Kornelius Imp"; "Mr. Imp", as he introduces himself. pale as the grave, eyes yellow and bloodshot, long bony fingers, hooked nose, slightly frizzy short blonde hair and an ever present toothy grin. He always wears the same attire; a well worn top hat, and a positively 19th century suit, complete with an overcoat that was more stitches than actual cloth at this point. He would have blended right in with a traveling side-show. Nobody really knows who he is, where he came from, or even where he lives. In fact, nobody has even seen him outside of his shop!

Local teens often browse the shop, in the same spirit of games like "Who will step closest to the haunted house"; there's a rumor that people who stay in the shop too long just... "Disappear".

And yet, people do sincerely patronize the establishment; not often enough that Intriguingly's has lost it's mystery, but most don't talk about the place.

One day, Nowhere was going about it's day like any other, including a few browsers of the antique shop, and some truant youths pretending to browse, and Mr. Imp pointing to a sign on the wall, reciting his rules for them as if it were the first time, in his creepy, breathy voice that somehow projects to the entire front of the store, "-And remember, young ones, these simple rules to abide: Hoods down, Sunglasses off. No open Backpacks, You break it, you buy it, Indoor voices, Walking Feet, and-" He pointed a gnarly digit to a large, framed red sign on a wall- "Do Not Open The Back-Room Door..." His gesture shifted to a short hall, where there was a heavy door just passed the restroom. No locks, or bolts, not even a sign, and even the arrangement of shelves and merchandise seems as if even the antiques give the door a healthy amount of space.

And it was the only time Mr. Imp stopped smiling. It snapped back, of course, as he finished, taking off his hat and giving a bow, "Follow the rules, and we can all be friends. Welcome to Intriguingly's, and have a nice day!"

✿ Personality & Background: Miko has always been the type of girl you’d describe as a “wallflower.” Preferring the company of her cat and finding more comfort between the pages of a book than with people, Miko is a woman of few words and even fewer friends. Not for lack of trying, she simply struggled to… Fit in. Partying, gossip and boys ignited nothing within her. She didn’t crave popularity, she didn’t bend to the will of others. Miko’s mother always told her she had an “old spirit.” She’s not unkind nor unpleasant. No one would describe her particularly negatively… In fact, it’s unlikely that anyone would describe her at all.

Up until recently, Miko has managed to coast through life, education and her earlier 20s fairly unscathed. Not a bully nor bullied, from a dedicated student to a committed employee, she’s enjoyed the anonymity of fading into the background. That way, she can focus on her writing. Miko has a blog, an online platform of reasonable popularity, where she pours her well-hidden personality and life’s philosophies under the alias “Mickey.” The blog “Dear No One” started off, initially, as an online journal for teenage Miko. The blog served as a soundboard for the person she kept hidden away inside, a place to describe her apparently relatable life and her innermost thoughts. “Dear, No One” became Miko’s safe haven for a soul felt unseen. As the blog gained traction, Miko’s confidence grew. She began documenting her solo adventures; Her travels, camping trips, hikes… Everything. The loneliness of her day to day life quickly faded away as she interacted with her readers. The online audience of strangers provided her with the false feeling of friendship...

Then, her mother died. And everything changed. Suddenly, she craved real connection. The one person who saw her, really saw her, was gone. The fragility of life became, all at once, abundantly clear and Miko promised her mother she’d make an effort to put herself out there. She promised her she’d embrace life not just as Mickey… But as Miko, too. Her philosophy was to “say yes.” Say yes to new experiences, new people, new friends.

✿ Skills:
• Well-Read: Being a bookworm has its upsides.
• Astute: All her time on the outskirts left Miko plenty of time to observe people, analysing their behaviours.
• Curious: She loves to know the answers. Nothing bugs her more than a question mark. If there’s a question that needs answering or a problem that needs solving, Miko’s thirst for knowledge compels her to persist until she reaches a conclusion.
• Creative: Reading, writing, theatre, music… The Arts are a what lights a fire beneath Miko. In creativity, she can be her truest self.

✿ Her smartphone / A journal & pen / Her bank card & ID

Hmm! Not bad; I'm very happy with this crop of characters! A clear sense of personality/identity, but with room to grow, and room to get in on these adventures!

Move this one to the character tab, while I get back to work on the opening (hoping to have it posted soon; if you're subscribed to this thread, you'll know almost as soon as it is.)
