Oh right, I forgot to mention it but everyone already has a Digivice somewhere on their person now. Mayu was just too preoccupied with freaking out to notice it herself. XD

Was it a dream? There was no way this could be real... Just moments ago, the world had seemed normal, and then everything went blurry. It was like being caught in a whirlpool of light and colour, and into this whirlpool they found themselves sucked down, a group of kids from across the world chosen seemingly at random...

Mayu Ryusei - Jaypeg Forest

With a quiet groan, Mayu slowly opened her eyes. She had no idea what had happened, but whatever it was she'd ended up lying down in a strange forest, underneath a tree that seemed to be bearing a sizable amount of fruit. As the sleep gradually began fading away and her vision became less blurry, she realized that the "fruit" was in fact several juicy looking sirloin steaks hanging from the branches.

"Am I... Still sleeping?" It wasn't exactly farfetched, really. Since between the steak tree, the bush that seemed to be covered in cooked chicken legs and the statue of a dinosaur made of giant Lego bricks standing nearby it, it was easy to believe this was all a dream.

"Nope, you're as awake as I am!" A voice called out from nearby. Unable to see anyone, though, Mayu simple looked about in confusion. "Hey, over here!" It called out again, and Mayu suddenly realized that... No, that was just silly. This was definitely a dream. It seemed to be coming from the Lego dinosaur...

"Huh... Huh." Getting to her feet, she walked closer to the plastic creature, and gently poked its nose. When it seemed to giggle and shake from this, she suddenly lept back and shrieked. "Wah... Wah! This is just a dream, r-right? This can't be real right?"

"Aaaaah! Don't yell like that so close to me!" The plastic dinosaur lowered its head, hugging its knees as its entire body trembled. "D-don't... Don't scare me like that! I... I'm s-supposed to be your p-p-partner and you c-can't go around yelling and scaring your partner l-like that!"

"P-partner? Wh-what...?"

Mayu could only stare blankly at the plastic dinosaur as it finally stopped trembling and extended a blocky paw.

"I'm ToyAgumon! Pleased to meet you!"

"I, um..." Unable to figure out the proper response to such a situation, Mayu could only take the paw and give it a shake in utter confusion. "Um, well, um.... I'm Mayu... Mayu Ryusei, um..."

The awkwardness between the two was quickly broken as they suddenly heard voices from elsewhere in the strange meat forest. Wherever they were, they were not alone...

Digimon Adventure Redux

So this is kind of a private, invite only thing based loosely on the original Digimon Adventure, only obviously with new characters and new settings and plotlines. Kind of an alternate universe version of the anime where our characters replace the original Digidestined.

Since it's invite only, signups will just be a formality; feel free to just jump into posting and don't worry too much about writing up your characters for the time being. ^^;

TigerVespamon was one of the possibilities I brought up in the interest check and he didn't seem to have a problem with it.

...Also, um, kind of going to be dropping out. Things aren't really working out and um yeah. Sorry. ^^;

Yeah, I don't really get that reasoning either. And the fact that almost every canon character is below that age range (the main exception being Savers, but as much as I love Savers it is kind of weird compared to the others) kind of blows a hole in it too. ^^; Hell, one of the best things about Tamers is the character development, and all of the main characters are under 14. ...And I know that in addition to Lost Cause, Vita was planning on making a character younger than 14 too so yeah. ^^;

I also don't get the "we're not in marketing" point at all.

On another note, I guess I'll have to wait until you get onto a computer so you can see Mayu's picture. And I had assumed that the attack field was for their "main" attack (I put three down for VictoryGreymon because I was undecided as to which was supposed to be the "main" one), but I guess that's just my little misunderstanding. ^^; And like I said, it is a WIP at the moment.

• Dossier: Mayu is rather insecure about herself, and is rather timid and shy when dealing with others. Her confidence is easily shattered, and she can be a bit of a crybaby at times. However, her strongest trait is that once she finally finds her footing and gives something her all, she will not back down and becomes immensely hot blooded, courageous and determined. If she cares about something, she will stop at nothing to protect it. Otherwise, though, she's just generally rather shy, insecure and kind of a nerd; she's always been a big fan of comic books, anime and tokusatsu shows like Super Sentai/Power Rangers and Kamen Rider, and will actually be rather excited about being transported to a fantastic world filled with monsters. For some reason, she always carries her umbrella even on clear days, and becomes rather distraught if it is lost or taken away from her; it's kind of a security blanket for her, really.

That's what I was assuming, at least. XD Makes it easier to decide if there's a smaller amount of choices really, but that's just how I see it I guess.

@GrandzHeliosAlso I forgot to ask, which section (Free/Casual/Advanced) do you intend this to go under? Since whilst I'd prefer Casual and would probably be able to work with Advanced, I'm not too interested in Free and would probably rescind interest if that was the case. ^^;
