I'm really not a dog person (crippling cynophobia will do that to you) but I would protect Pombon with my life.

Rin - Western Planet Bar

Maybe the chill wind was just her imagination, then... Rin laughed nervously as the spiky-haired kid left to find a magical girl, and Rain jumped right back to questioning her.

Aw crap, I thought she'd forgotten! Um, um... Can I tell her I played Fallout? Would that make things weird? ...I mean she's obviously aware of other worlds what with being here and all but, um, uh, hmmm, uh... Boggling her mind trying to figure out some way to distract Rain's attention once more, she looked around the bar... Ah, great, a young woman being accosted by a- Oh, wait, some guy had already stepped in. Um... Quick, think of an excuse and make yourself scarce!

"Um, well, um... Eheh, um... I, uh, I travel a lot and, uh... And I hear about a lot of stuff and, and, um... And oh um look at the time I think I left the oven on got to go bye see you later!" Grimacing, she swiftly backed off towards the door, fiddling with the watch-like device on her arm, which yelled out...

PARASOL

...And as soon as it did, a red and white parasol appeared in her hand. As hot as it was inside, it was even worse outside, and it would at least help a little to have some shade. Unfortunately, she'd been so preoccupied retrieving it that she didn't pay attention to anyone entering the bar as she exited... And thus collided into a short ponytailed brunette, who seemed to be accompanied by another slightly taller brunette with loose hair.

"Ah, um, sorry, um, didn't see you there, um..." Rin quickly looked her over, partially to see if any damage was caused but mostly to spot any distinctive traits she could use to refer to the other girl with. "Um, sorry, Peaches, was in a hurry and, uh, um... Eheh, um, hope you're not hurt or angry or anything, eheheh..."
Sister Phoebe Miriam - Church convent

For a moment, Phoebe believed she had made some mistake. She had expected... Something else, not this dark figure, and fear spread across her face as she gaved at it. Not for herself, no, but for what she believed the Church would do to her for her failure. But as soon as the figure spoke, her fear began to subside.

"Ah, I... I suppose I am, yes," she said, her lips quivering nervously as she stared in awe and... Admittedly still a little fear of her Servant. She wasn't the only one who was a little uneasy here, either, as out of the corner of her eye she noticed Sister Alicia cautiously reaching for something within her robes. "I am Sister Phoebe Miriam of the Roman Catholic Church, and it is an honour to meet you." A faint smile spread across the white nun's face as she curtsied, and soon enough the other four nuns repeated the gesture.
@LmpkioUm, Shezow isn't in the bar anymore. She left and headed to another building. ^^;

Rin's smile spread wider as Rain offered a hand in turn, the blonde girl shaking it rather enthusiastically. This was just so cool! Even if the bar was still too hot.

"Um, nice to meet you, Rain! And, well, um..." As she began to try and explain why she recognized the glowy heat fist of doom, however, a smaller, more male figure approached the two, inquiring about some kind of dog.

"Oh, um... Dogs, uh... I'm not good with dogs, eheh..." Rin chuckled nervously as she rubbed the back of her neck. "Sounds like a magical girl mascot thing, though. Any magical girls here? They'd probably be the best people to ask, really..."

And just for a moment, Rin shivered as a chill wind breezed through the bar, although the heat quickly returned. She wasn't sure whether she'd have prefered for the cold to stay, really, especially seeing how she was dressed for warm weather right now.

"...Hey, did you guys feel that?" she said, as the breeze disappeared as quickly as it appeared. "Felt kind of chilly for a moment, eheh."
Sister Phoebe Miriam - Church convent

Even as the overseer of the Grail War sat in quiet contemplation in the Redrock church, elsewhere in that old building five figures began a ritual within a room lit only by blessed candles. As four black-clad nuns finished drawing a magic circle, a fifth, dressed in an immaculate white habit, kneeled down in the center with hands clasped in prayer. For a moment, the dimly lit room was bathed in silence, until sound began emanating from the white nun's lips. It could easily have been mistaken for a hymn, as her melodious voice sang out in Latin an all too familiar incantation.

As she sang, the other four nuns joined in, and as their small choir incanted the words the room slowly began to grow brighter and brighter as the magic circle activated. Raising her hands to the sky, the white nun held aloft the relic she had been gifted by the Church, a catalyst intended to call forth a mighty Servant indeed. Finally, as her singing reached its end, the circle flashed almost blindingly bright as a figure began to materialize...

As the connection between Master and Servant was forged, Sister Phoebe could tell that she had drawn a powerful hand indeed. The most subtle of smiles began to crack upon her face, as she knew that with this Servant... If this Grail truly was equal to that most holy of relics, then there was no doubt that it would soon belong to the Church, were it truly belonged.

  • Name: Sister Phoebe Miriam
  • Age: 22
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: Whee.
  • Personality: Phoebe is what most would describe as the ideal for a holy woman. Innocent, devout, and focused on her duties. However, this innocence comes with a somewhat naive nature. While she is not foolish, she does not know of all the workings of the world. She is not blindly trusting, and yet she does not always realize what is going on around her. Her knowledge of modern technology is more befitting of a traditional magus then anyone else. She enjoys peace and quiet and good books.
  • Skills: Unlike other notable members of the Church, Phoebe was never an Executor; her combat skills are negligible at best, and whilst she technically has the potential to use Black Keys the fact that she knows nothing of swordplay means that attempting to use them would most likely end with her hurting herself. She's more suited towards more bookish fields, and is well versed in the sacraments of the church and various supernatural phenomena related to her religion. Her cooking skills are terrible enough to technically count as a "power"; never accept anything cooked by her, as it most likely counts as a biohazard.
  • Abilities: Sister Phoebe has been taught the magic of the church, the holy sacraments that they consider to be non-heretical for one of their own to use. Her magic is mostly centered around support, and thus it has practically no directly offensive applications; it is mostly centered around healing and her elemental affinity for light. To help keep her alive as she investigates this supposed Grail, she has been gifted a protective Mystic Code, Deo Juvante: Vestments of the Saint. These vestments provide her additional protection from mundane weaponry (such as knives and small arms fire) and offensive magecraft, although naturally it is just as durable as regular clothing when faced with a Noble Phantasm (ie. not at all).
  • Brief Backstory: Orphaned at a young age, Phoebe was raised by the Catholic church and, naturally, grew up to become a nun. She was very devout and pledged to do anything for the Church, but rarely left her convent and was sheltered throughout her childhood. When the Church learned of a new Grail War, they naturally wanted to see if the replica was a true achievement in reproducing a holy relic. In addition to deploying the usual overseer, now someone far better equipped for overseeing the grail war, they also chose to enter their own competitor. With surprisingly high-quality magic circuits for an orphaned child, Phoebe was trained in magecraft in order to pose as a more powerful challenger for the Grail, in spite of the Church's views on the practices. Now, Phoebe has been flown to the United States to enter the Grail War for the sake of her Church, which she would do anything for.

Finally got this done, sorry it took so long. Also, @Raineh Daze and I have already discussed pairing her with her Saber and yeah. ^^;
So I can't help but find it amusing that we all met in a bar.
Rin - Western Planet Bar

Well, no point in hesitating now, thought Rin as the silver haired girl walked towards her. Maybe she's not as scary as she lo- hey, is that what I think it is?

Downing the rest of her drink, she lept to her feet and focused intently on the glowing guantlet the silver haired girl was wearing. Sure, the Pipboy was the most immediately recognizable piece of equipment she had, but she'd recognize that glove anywhere. Her hands cupped the air around it, basking in the warm glow whilst trying not to actually directly touch it...

"Is that...? It is, isn't it? It totally is! It has to be!" Suddenly remembering how much she hated the heat, she pulled her hands back and practically skipped on the spot in excitement. "That's a SUPERHEATED SATURNITE POWER FIST, isn't it!? That's so cool! I've always thought the SUPERHEATED SATURNITE POWER FIST was really awesome and here's one in the flesh and... Well, not exactly the flesh, more the metal and glowy hot heat stuff but still! That's really, really, really cool!"

Maybe she was overreacting just a little, but she couldn't help it. Whenever she ran into something like this, something that she thought she'd never see for real back on Earth, she couldn't help but suddenly descend into giggling fangirl mode.

"Ah, um, sorry, um, got a bit carried away, eheh, um..." Holding out a hand expectantly, she practically beamed at the girl with the glowy heat fist. "I'm Rin! Nice to meet you!"
