Yeah this was not something she expected to happen. Amelia had panicked out of her mind upon seeing Riley. She never expected to even get a distant glimpse at the singer and since they started seeing these visions, Amelia believed it would be better to never meet. She was afraid of all of the others in the visions and feared that the singer might not be friendly or happy to be in this situation.

As she bolted out the store, she took a turn to the Alley, but before she can get anywhere substantially into it, she felt a hand on her shoulder. The shivers ran down her back as if someone put a pack of ice in there. She jolted backwards, feeling a spark surge down her skin. Luckily she didn't held onto anything breakable or touch anyone.

She looked at Riley with a mixture of fear and awe, but she held onto her own hands, keeping them at chest level, pressed at her coat as if to bring exposure and chance to touch anyone to minimum.” Y...yes....” She managed to barely whisper an answer now that she was pulled into the conversation, but hey at least they weren't in the middle of the sidewalk. People rarely looked at the alleys. Still she was afraid of Riley. The other woman was someone who had prestige, money and was famous. That and because she was seeing her in visions she knew she was tied to this situation. Amelia's shoulders were trembling slightly.” Please... I didn't call you here... I'm not responsible.” She was mumbling random excuses to thing that weren't even said to her.” I just saw someone else too... they appread on their own as well... I didn't cause you this problem, I swear...”

“Well you aside, I think I may have passed a face down the road, but as you can guess it's not exactly small city." She sighed and shrugged her shoulders.” You I recognized for sure because I remembered you from the crime scenes I've been at.” The cop explained with a smile, also throwing a look at the rain. It made for a nice scenery if nothing else, that and it deafened the sound of the everyday city, making the usually banal landscapes of hurried existence appear calm and gentle for even a moment.

“No thank you. Here's the bill.” She added with a smile directed at the waiter as she handed over the money with a decent tip. Given how close he was to them right now, she couldn't help it and read fragments of his thoughts. The way he planned to spend the time after his shift with friends.

Waiting for the man to walk away, she turned back to Olivia.” Look given what happened last night... you should be extra careful from now on even with your healing.” She stated with serious voice.” Do not move alone at night and ...actually... here.” She said suddenly, pulled her phone typing in her number and showing it to Olivia for the other owman to copy it and save it down.” Here save this one, it's my number if something's up you can call me. I should be over as soon as possible, no matter the time of day.” She smiled. Frankly the situation was not good if they had killer on the loose. It could have been a coincidence one of their type was killed, but dammit she highly doubted it. Her inner cop intuition was telling her this was too coincedental to be a coincedence.

Walking barefoot at this time of year and weather conditions wasn't the most pleasant even for someone who had trained his soles to walk on embers and fire. He sighed once he was finally inside the tent and stretched his hands. With a tired yawn he walked over to wooden stove and threw in a few small pieces of firewood into the embers after poking a little at them to make them flare up.

With the heating secured he walked over to his bed, took off the now rather dirty shirt and sat down. Yeah it was a long day indeed. He reached over and pulled the bucket of water. They always had water in their tent to wash up from the charcoal. Using a wet cloth he wiped himself from the sweat and then with a metal can he poured water to wash his feet, before drying up with a cloth and hopping into the bed once more, pulling a blanket.

“I vant to sleep for days...” He mumbled, just relaxing down and enjoying a well deserved rest after the extravaganza they pulled off earlier tonight. It was truly a grand performance and no one should be able to say otherwise with straight face in his opinion. Maybe they could have pulled a better firewalking act at the end, but he thought it turned out quite well in the end anyways. Well maybe if they had one more person who can walk the embers, it would open the setting possibilities. Yeah he was probably going to get a when he is getting a wife speech soon by his mother. This random thought brought a soft laughter from him as he realized what he was thinking of. As improbable as that scenario was, they were probably going to need a person to learn the art of fire walking soon anyhow.

Amelia's mind was trying to get into high gear and process everything, but it was just so hard to think through the fatigue. Every muscle in her body was screaming to rest, but she had to continue still. It was in a weird way it was a method to train one's body, but she couldn't think about that. All she wanted was that rest, to get to a bed ideally and then fall asleep. She was still hoping in the back of her mind that it was all one great nightmare she'd wake up from in her bed. See Riley after she wakes up, go and get a meal with everyone.

“...” Amelia didn't even react to the words from Sam and Ray as they commented on simple courses of action like that. She had at least realized that the wouldn't be heading east now, but south instead towards Mary Ann street. So had found herself making a surprisingly sharp turn as she headed south instead. With one hand she held the bottle of water form Ray and with the other she held the baseball bat still. With that and tired gait, she walked east, somehow managing to overtake Ray as she did. A feat she barely registered actually. At least she was quiet enough, considering. Why did this place have to be so run down... weather... humanity shoddy construction and then the tremors.' I want to rest...' She thought, focusing on her steps, trying to keep up proper walking pace.

Kosara Koleva

Location: Outside town hall where the crime scene was.

Kosara started giggling happily, buckling her belt. Having gotten areaction from the old man was a small victory for her, a victory she enjoyed having. He was her only family left, so acting like a child around him every now and then, made her feel better about her life and loss in her life. And she knew he had lost as much as her if not more in his life, so she hoped her presence was proving good for him too. Yes they were family even if they were a generation or two distant. Frankly even if he wasn't a relative, she would still stay with him. He was a nice gramps after all and she wouldnt change him from nothing.

As they neared the townhall, they could see Jenna. Kosara smiled brightly right away at the sight of her friend, but the tugging sensation in her arm suggested right away that something not human was around. She didn't know what it was, could be anything. Sadly her gift or curse whatever it was didn't give her precise information on it's nature. Heck it was even quite the distant thing so all in all she suspected it was some distance away, maybe hiding in the shadows.

"Hey, Jenna, hop on." She called, gesturing to the back seats." Let's get going, we will send the old man to buy dinner after we arrive and get you settled for the night." Kosara said half laughing with a happy voice. Abe was going to go out anyhow to buy stuff for the tracking spell, so might as well have him grab some food for Jenna.
Vala wasn't finding the whole situation fun. Actually the entire place was a death trap, they were just some mince caught in the maze of dangers, waiting for htem to be swallowed by a snake waiting somewhere in the maze or something. Afterall there was a possibily compromised Titan which at least hasn't started to go berserk yet. Maybe it was the fact she rendered it ineffectual without serious start up operations like refueling and the like, but hse wouldn't scratch it from hte list of dangers just yet.

"Fine." she mumbled as she borded the Chimera with hte rest. At least the chimera rode better than some of the crafts she had been on in the past. Old shuttles, damaged land vehicles, generally non vit for service vehicles of any kind that she had to keep working, return to working order or anything else a rogue mechanic might have to do out in lawless space with any ancient barely working tech the outlaws, mercs and others unsavory elements of the imperium got. She even had to try to put an ork weapon in working condition once... she gave it up. It was impossible task.

As the treck in the Chimera continued, she used the chance to try to understand what the Skitarii were telling each other in binary. Not quite easy to make out among the noise in the chimera, but she got a few sets of binary here and there, traslating it in symbols as she went. Was a good side chore to do while tinkering with her gun. She had relaxed quite a lot in the Chimera actually and since she wasn't quite as tall as the psyker, she didn't get her head hit in the roof of it. When the vehicle stopped, she quickly prepared her gun, in case she had to use it.

“You never know, I've seen thefts even more obvious get by unaccounted unless someone hindered them, but I do suppose you are right on this.” Mosi agreed with a smile as she followed after Akhmed. This was a mighty weird situation they found themselves in. She was looking forward the smithing event, but it didn't seem like it was a priority or even on the main course anymore. It appeared that it would have to be left for another time. That mentioned, she did find a mystery a great replacement event too.

“Anything weird happening lately in the museum?” Priscilla then asked, throwing looks about the place, still not seeing anything out the ordinary that would raise any kind of flags. Maybe some of the displays, but those just made her enjoy ancient arts and crafts, it wasn't causing her any possible out of normal vibes.” Maybe someone weird who was coming around a few times? Since it was a quick job it seems, they knew what they wanted and where to find it more likely?” She suggested, wondering if the mystery infiltrator may have hanged around for research.

Still while she was thinking about the current mystery, she couldn't help, but have random distractions thinking about other people and places too.

Location: The Tower, Floor 3

There were plans and there were PLANS. Satilla clearly had one of the latter right now. As the fight progressed, she had a bear between her and anywhere she could or had to go. Not exactly optimal thing to get in the way of big burly animals that can tear your limbs with one swipe of their mighty paws, be they a ally even. She took a breath and quickly studied the situation, before making her move. Keystone was to her left, so she took the chance and dashed in his direction.

With decent move she hopped by his side, reaching to her bag in motion. From inside it a nervous meow was heard as she pulled one of the daggers she had. It was her own dagger, she then shifted slightly, turning to the side as her hand arched backwards, building the needed potential force for the throw. Sadly this is where the Ancient Cosmic Powers of bad luck struck her. It didn't take more than a fraction of a moment for her to realize the error of her ways.

First was the fact she swung too fast. The dagger slipped from her hand going somewhere behind, probably towards the poor Thomas down the stairs, then there was the fact her rapid swing backwards, led to her feet somehow slipping and in the next moment she was looking up. With the mighty sound of crash, her back impacted the floor, sending ripples of impact energy through her torso, not to mention her head also hit the ground. She was dizzy, confused and the stars were dancing nicely in the air well at least before her skirt was covering her face, leaving her nice white linens to clear view.

If animals could speak, she would have received a rant from the good ol' Skittles about doing stupid shit and that they should name her Leeroy Jenkinsssssssssssssssssss.

“Yes, I think I vill actually do that as much as time grants.” He said to his family and cracked his neck that currently felt a little bit stiff. Not that it would be a surprise all things considering. Fatigue had this insidious way of building up along the way when you least wanted it to. All that happened today was quite obvious, but the fact he felt tired was not something that can be avoided sadly. Hell they had even had a person die today in the absurd manner not even including soulless.” This has been one messed up day so far...” He mumbled and looked around, really thinking about the possibility of just walking back to their tent so he can go get some sleep.

“Yeah, I will head to the tent for now... I feel tired.” He smiled and said to his parents. With the performance done and over with, he wanted to just go and relax on the bed for a little while. Then he'd probably wash his feet... walking on embers and coal did kind of make his feet more or less leave black steps behind anywhere he walks bare feet, not surprising also. With that he headed off. Frozen waters, high action performances, other general nonsense... long day.

Amelia was continuing to move east on autopilot almost, heading towards Hill street. Frankly she was tired, thinking was hard and moving was even harder. She lost friends, she didn't know if Riley was alive and that was just without the crushing fatigue that was currently eroding on her willpower to keep moving as they did.

“Nothing, Ray... just tired is all...” She mumbled a reply as the man asked how she was. There was also the new woman – Sam. She looked like a good enough person as she did help them out. Another set of hands and legs was a good thing considering the situation. Amelia looked about, looking for some kind of shelter they could use. The kind of shelter that didn't have the chance to crumble on top of their heads, but frankly it wasn't looking like it was happen.” I don't think there will be anything good enough within at least 5 miles of Newnan... the quake was quite strong and... yeah. We need to walk a lot more till we are on the green...” She stated, looking about as she moved with decent pace, sort of quietly enough.” Let's walk as long as we can... which probably won't be long before it's dark.” She said and pointed forward towards Hill street.” Maybe there we can see something better...” She added, not really wanting to be the pessimist, but frankly she just didn't care anymore.

'Please, Riley, be alright!' She begged in her mind, hoping it was going to all be fine. The survivalist policies were against them now. If they had not completely ransacked this place they would have a better chance... No it didn't matter no one could predict the earth would rebel like that.' Focus... focus!' She thought, finding her mind wandering into subjects far away form the current goal of survival.

“T-t...thank you.” She said quietly to the store clerk as she was brought the new phone. Amelia quickly with really and clearly a lil nervously brought her wallet to see if she had the money, but then realized she didn't have the cash on hand. She rarely had much cash on hand as she didn't have much money to begin with so she mostly kept it in her cards. She pulled her card instead and quickly went through the process of playing with it. She was a ball of nerves cause she was the metaphorical elephant in a store about glass crafts... She could probably fry everything in here if hse wasn't careful. Luckily it wasn't happening. Thus as soon as she had her phone, she switched her card into it and turned it on. She felt a little happy and at least she wouldn't lose her job if they called her for overtime or something...

Then just as she was about to exit in the corner of her eyes she saw something and realized what it was as she turned towards it. It was Riley!!! Amelia froze in place, her eyes locked on the woman, her face displaying a mix of fear, excitement and nervousness. She didn't know what had happened, but she knew that others probably didn't see Riley otherwise they would be reacting to her. She herself didn't know what to see as she stood there staring, then realized that the clerk would probably think she was either up to something or wondering what she was doing. She wanted to say something, but couldn't... she was also nervous that it was Riley! She liked her songs a lot and was thinking about the musician since she saw her in those dream visions, but now didn't know what to do. Was Riley dangerous for her? Was she dangerous for Riley? What was happening, all she knew was that she was currently staring at the woman, before she suddenly looked around nervously and really slowly started walking towards the exit. She was no one... Riley probably wouldn't even speak to her! Yes, better just return home, lock herself alone and curl under the blanket!

As Olivia placed her finger in the hot coffee, Claire had the natural instinct to reach out and stop her, but she realized it was the other showing her powers. Not that it wouldn't hurt, but she supposed it was the only way to show her powers of healing aka hurt herself first. What Claire wasn't looking forward was the feeling and thoughts of pain that filled her mind, originating from Olivia. The cop couldn't help herself from wincing as she clenched the same hand that Olivia used to display her powers.

As soon as Olivia pulled her hand away from the coffee and it healed, Claire reached over and touched it, smiling, before her face turned into one hell of a grimace. She was not pleased.” Do not do that needlessly anymore...” She let out a really coldly calm soft voice, before sighing.” Seriously, Olivia... I just read and partially felt the emotions... Do not do that anymore without need. I believed you for it even without demostration... Otherwise I will start taking you for masochist...” She smiled and said jokingly, before raising a hand and calling to the person at person behind the counter.” One cold water, please. Thank you.” She said with an attractive smile.

“So... ever met some of the others in person?” She asked, smiling at Olivia, waiting for the cold water to be delivered.
