"Stick around for a longer and you might learn." Claire replied to her partner with a huge grin. The boy was a new recruit she got given a while back after all. Her old partner retired so yeah now she was the old dog of the car. Not that she minded and she did have her pride as a policewoman to a certain degree... that and her rather vengeful personality she used to find workarounds in her plans for revenge. Best revenge was the legal revenge. Cause no one can call faul.

When the radio came to life and the person from dispatch gave them the information, she quickly put away her food and picked up the radio, calling her car's number." We are closest to the disturbance and are heading there." She replied and quickly turned on the lights and sirens before driving off." Lunch's over, Rookie. Put your hat on..." She joked as she drove towards the target. She wondered what exactly it was this time. Hopefully nothing too serious.

"Alright." Was Amelia's brief quiet reply as she gave off a shy smile and also returned to finish her breakfast. She knew that a friend of Riley was arriving today, but didn't mean she could just treat her normally out of the sudden. All things considered she was still awkward and shy even around her roommate and what's to say about a new person she never met before. It would take some time before she could break out of her shell.

She waved a little with her right hand, feeling embarrassed as her roommate introduced her a second time. This was uncomfortable... How long has it been since she had to meet and get to know new people more than once a week? Maybe over the internet it happened often, but it didn't really count. She felt a lot braver when she was on the internet and no one could see her. She wasn't a bad person, but her online persona and the real Amelia did deviate a lot." Ahmm... I was planning to go buy new sketchbook and pens... I'm running out." She said quietly." Also... w...w.. window shopping.?" She said in unsure manner, her whole face blushing as she looked down at the plate of food.

It didn't take Constantin who now had a proper horse to quickly arrive back at Vlad's location without any real problems going on. He quickly also passed by his family's wagon and in a few sentences explained what was going on and that he was going away with Vlad on an important task to help with. He was really okey with it, but his mother did make a few prayers for his safe return and made him to promise he will be careful. His father only nodded and told him to do the job. With that done he in post haste returned to Vlad.

He returned to The Great Bazhooli and a speech was had right away. In the grand bombastic manner that only Vlad could do it, Constantin smiled with happy expression as he joined up next to his leader. Constantin's eyes were filled with dancing flames of conviction as he loudly ushered his horse with the trained skills ever forward to keep up with Vlad. That said he finally realized why the crazy German was missing. It didn't take him long to remember the funny fellow had grown out of nowhere. Then he must have done the reverse or something. And Vlad did have his bag so he was around that's for sure. And his conclusion was confirmed eventually when the person showed up from the bag.

β€œThis is so veird... Could be useful though.” He mumbled, but did wonder if the funny fellow had any way of fighting a soulless in that size. Or maybe there were also tiny soulless he didn't know about!!!

β€œUghh... this is a first...” Priscilla was trying to make sense of what just happened when a stream of puke hit her in return! This was awkward. She used her hand to clean herself of as much as she can directly swiping it of herself as the others were heading off towards the barracks of some kind. Well this was another first thing she'd do. Entering a military barracks was not on her to do list, but might as well do it. If nothing else for some cleaning of that damnable brand. Maybe a bandage... at worst. Actually with this puke she'd need that cleaning and bandage for sure.

β€œLook... I'm sorry for that, miss.” She quickly moved over with the rest to catch up to Nora.” I want to apologize for what happened... Usually I have that bodily reflex under better control.” She quickly said to the woman, but to be fair she did get puked on in return so on that front they were rather even for now. That said Mosi was already thinking of what to get changed into. Or maybe she could just use a bathroom to wash the clothes and walk around in wet clothing for a while. Given it's bloody EGYPT she figured she'd dry away fast enough.

β€œExcuse me, but is it me or there's a lot of strange things going on around this museum?” She asked Nora who looked rather in thought. The others looked way too occupied with the problems of life too, but she figured she'd talk to Nora for whatever reason.” I mean, deaths... thefts and now someone whom you knew getting the inquisition treatment? It's just too coincidental to be a coincidence.”

Both left and right of her there were many curious people. Prima Rave wondered about them as the scenes around her were unfolding in a manner or another and she could hear the discussions. The person who fainted was a woman. The man who carried her proposed her to still sit with him which made Rave's cheeks flush at the directness of such a proposition! But it was cold so her cheeks were red to begin with so not much difference there and there was the mask on top of that.

Then there appeared to be a confrontation brewing at the first seats... Had she heard it right? The man wanted to switch seats so they can chat and the other man refused. Well he was in his right to refuse right? He took that seat and they took the other seats so they didn't really have the proper excuses to force him or anything. That man with the horned mask at the first seat sounded scary and angry. She really didn't want to get close to him. She decided keep an eye on that one and make sure to stay as far away from him as possible when they arrive. If he was ready to almost resort to violence from something like that, who knew what could make him explode into rage!

Prima reached into her pocket and patted the pet ferret that was hiding from the cold. It was nice and calming to feel the animal's soft fur, but she couldn't wait for them to be at a warm place. The poor thing probably felt colder than her at this point. She looked around at the front of the machine and noted they were apparently waiting for more people to fill the seats or something. She wished that would happen soon so they can get going. This cold was not pleasant. At this point she regretted not dressing even warmer. Maybe a mantle of some kind would have been nice...

It all wasn't going too great all things considering. A demon like Asmodeus possibly soon to be free and about to do whatever he wishes and this fucker here causing them troubles to boot. She was reciting the exorcism chant like she had done some times in the past, but it wasn't turning the desired way past the pain she was causing him because it appeared luck was turning against the two of them right now. Apparently the seal was being affected by the interrogation earlier. Not much to be done...

She raised her sword, pointed at him without as much as turning her eyes away from the book she was reciting from and continued with the exorcism. He would have two choices here either to abandon the body as soon as the seal fail completely or dammit she was going to send his smokey ass back to hell to be the bottom bunkmate of some bigger demon out there. That or she was going to cut his head off and force him to abandon the body... Even be what he was well a body in pieces wouldn't be able to do anything to them. Thus for now she just focused on the exorcism as the main goal.

It's been a really long haul since they left Newnan. Amelia took a breath once they were in Headland Alabama. They needed supplies and this seemed like a good enough place to try to scavenge some as far as she could see. She could spot some walkers while they were arriving in town, but all that was normal given the world they lived in. At least she didn't spot any major hordes which was a huge plus!

Still now that they had arrived it was time to start thinking what they should be doing next. Splitting into a group to protect the horde buster and one to scavenge seemed like the usual plan in her mind, but she wasn't calling the shots. Ash was the one who did that. Frankly all things considered, Amelia really didn't want to let Riley go out on a scavenging run and she planned to try prevent it if she could.

β€œWhat is the plan for the moment? Should we be doing a scavenging run? The town looks intact enough to maybe find something.” She finally asked after a while. Her voice carried little on the way of shyness right now. After all that happened those around her were close friends of her and of course Riley. She didn't feel as shy around them anymore and she was focused on the task at hand.

After a while the Rookie did show um which made Claire smile at the sight of food.” Yeah, it will do.” She said and took her food, taking a bite as he got inquisitive.” The usual...” she was starting to answer when her phone made the sound of getting a message. Well this wasn't unusual on it's own, but as she noticed the sender's name she made a mildly surprised expression as she pulled the message to read.” Ohh.” She mused and then grinned widely.

β€œAnyhow, rookie, we're going to be doing the usual.” She stated with a shrug.” Patrol, Serve and Protect, all the good jazz.” Claire explained with a grin as she started eating her burger.” But after lunch.” She added with a devilish smile and quickly raised the volume on the radio just in case some emergency message from dispatch came, she could hear it better. After all she did like her job.

Amelia was naturally smiling right now as the food was good and a person tended to smile when they were enjoying something. That said the fact a new person was going to be arriving soon was making her feel slightly nervous, not that she was going to let it show though. Any friend of Riley would surely be a good person. She couldn't help it, but worry now.

She was just about to ask her what sort of person her friend was, the doorbell rang. Amelia was slightly startled since she didn't really expect her to arrive right as she was about to ask that, but apparently it happened. Was this some weird fiction novel or something? Amelia quickly stood up and followed after Riley to see the her friend and welcome her in. She was left startled when they went ahead and had a big friendly hug... So she just kept quiet waiting them to finish." Hello, my name is Amelia. Nice to meet you." She said quietly, but had a small smile on her face non the less.

Mosi had a rather curious expression on her face. Truth be told she wasn't quite well used to just being ignored like this Josephine woman was ignoring her. Why was that? Then a little candle lit in her mind. Of course! It was all because she must be feeling insecure about her relationship with Akhmed. Now this made more sense in Mosi's mind so she decided to roll with it. Anyhow back to Mahendra. The man's face had seen better days, he looked like some weird abstract art piece right about now.

Well more or less they were a near complete group here. Mosi noticed that more or less all the people from last night's dinner were gathered here or around the museum at one point or another. 'Curious...' She made a mental note, wondering if something else was making them gather up like that. As Mahendra was brought away by Akhmed, Mosi looked at Nora whom was the suggested caretaker for her.

β€œIt's alright, Miss Nora. I can move by myself...” She said and started walking after Akhmed and Mahendra, following behind them as fast as she can given her stomach burning wound she had. It wasn't really all that bad until they exited the museum only to notice a burnt body if what she was hearing was the true. She then saw it and yeah it looked like someone burned to death. Very catholic in her opinion... Grimacing she took a few steps forward to see. Akhmed said it was Neema, the nice older woman who gave them dinner last night.

Mosi couldn't stop her morbid curiosity at the event. There was an innate desire to learn more about what had transpired and the first task at hand would be to figure out what had happened. To that end she moved closer towards the body. Probably not the brightest idea all things considering as the moment the airflow shifted well enough and the smell hit her face, all her inside as if stirred for release. She didn't know if it was a combination of the feverish state and the smell or if she was simply so easy to feel sick, but the moment the smell hit, she couldn't stop herself form turning around and hurling up rather violently. All over Nora."Uugh..."

Rushing back towards where Vlad and co were, a few things happened that caught the firewalker's attention like a falcon a rabbit. First there was the rather weird feeling at his own suggesting mind you that they were splitting the circus. Still the best idea he could think of to cover all paths, but then there was the second thing that grabbed his attention. There was a gunshot that echoed. Constantin rooted himself to the spot he was mid run and just stared blankly as he realized it came from where The bazhooli was. He didn't really care about the German and the Talink fellows. Thus he then dashed madly over only to find a rather weird situation

First there was a Thalken without a back of his head.” Vhat...!?” He mumbled in confusion studying the surroundings. Then he heard the booming voice of Vlad.” I got... permission and money...” He mumbled as Vlad gave the order for him to go grab a horse. From one task onto the next with nary a time to catch a breath, but that's how he was used to anyhow In the circus there was aways a job to do.

Constantin sighed in his mind as he had to rush back to grab a horse.” Right avay!” He answered and moved off to locate a horse. Of course he knew where to get the right horse for the job so he promptly did so. After all the Bazhooli had only given him five minutes. With great speed her picked the horse, moved by his family's wagon, picked his usual day to day essentials he usually carried and rushed back to where Bazhooli used to be.

Rave swallowed once she was through the outer gateway and into the grounds of the manor proper. Still far away from the actual manor itself, but already one step closer to the bastard who held her weakness. She had to find a way to deal with it tonight, couldn't risk it continuing any further anymore. The extortion had to stop one way or another. Then a strange noise caught her attention as something was coming closer to them spewing smoke into the air. Then the orbs of light, the sounds of metals and cogs. What manner of thing was getting ever closer to them? Well her nervousness continued as she clenched a fist and the ferret showed it's head from her pocket. It was some kind of machine that had a man operating it. It had seats to and apparently they had to take a seat so she gulped quietly.

She studied the machine for a few moments, taking in all it's components as far as she could see. Prima had seen steam engines before. In cities you could see small ones that could pull a person or two, but this was the first time she seen one big like this. Seemed more advanced than those in cities. Did they make it here? This question was weighting in her mind as she noticed the other people were taking seats so she hurried along.

While moving about to take a seat, she quickly threw glances from under the mask to the other people who got onto seats before her. There was a wide variety of personas in different clothing. Prima wondered how many of them were actual nobility and how many were not. Maybe it was down for the clothing, but clothing could also lie. Appearances could be deceiving after all, but not always. Some looked in better condition than others which was also a clue, but she kept quiet as she walked past the rather unusual looking seats. She wasn't sure, she was ready to put her trust into these, but what choice did she have? Finally she moved past the really big fellow who was carrying the rather light looking person who fell unconscious by the gate. Well she could only say light looking because in comparison to the one carrying them, they looked tiny. She thought about it and decided there was a good chance it was a woman. Still she just took the next seat by them and kept quiet, as she reached to pet the ferret in her coat's pocket. The little thing's fur felt quite soft to her chilled hands.
