Rockin' Strings is a red unicorn pony with a red and black striped mohawk and similarly striped tail. On his back are a pair of mechanical wings and a golden guitar. A golden locket sits around his neck.
He has a few spells he can utilize, including levitation, a basic shield spell that wouldn't last more than 5 minutes, a 50 yard teleportation spell, a magic ray blast, and an illusion spell. While none of them are very strong, they have practical and very useful. With his intelligence, he can usually hold of an attacker long enough to make a tactical retreat.
Through his Element of Sound, he can turn the sound waves from his guitar into a concussive blast, hitting his opponents with the equivalent of his forehoof "punch" from a distance of up to 10 yards.
