27 years old today. Only three years of my 20s left. Where did all that time go?

So apparently, if you use a tooth with a filling in it to chew toffee, the toffee can become sicky enough to pull the filling out.

Miss Light

The things that Ellywick revealed to know might have come as a shock to Miss Light once, but that was before she met Arkerym. Once you've gotten over the fact that your boss is a talking sword who is also a demigod who fights a cabal of magical vulture men who constantly plot the collapse of civilization, there isn't much else that can faze you after that.

That wasn't to say it didn't concern her though. If she needed to save her father, that meant her father was in danger. Her suspicions on what that danger was drifted to Arkerym. In the time they had known each other, Miss Light had gotten the sense that her Hexblade patron didn't particularly like her father or the Mister Witch her father worked with. Miss Light set that theory to one side for the time being when Ellywick mentioned the danger was in fact forces greater than she knew. That ruled out Arkerym, but she didn't rule out that he'd cause his own share of trouble down the line. As for what these 'greater forces' were, Miss Light hoped Ellywick's comment about a clock ticking once again wasn't meant as a round about way of saying that the force she would have to save her father from could control time itself. Even with Arkerym, she doubted her chances against that kind of power.

"Ah, but that will start tomorrow morning and that is all I can say about it. Take the time to enjoy this night,"

"I... suppose I could do that." Miss Light said as she tried to move her focus back to the present. "Considering how... knowledgeable you are, do you have any recommendations as to where I might find something particularly enjoyable once I've had my fill of feasting?"
@rush99999 Go ahead and roll either a Deception check or a Performance check please. ^_^

Could Brutrumukk roll Performance with advantage thanks to his acting lessons from the Witchlight Carnival?
Brutrumukk

"Stop stop stop! Gimme two minutes! It was good up to there!" Brutrumukk suddenly exclaimed as he walked back into the room while snapping his fingers repeatedly. "The curry-ogg-wrathy was really good up to there. 'Specially with you." Brutrumukk pointed at the suit of armor that had tried to attack Jub. "You really made it look like you actually wanted that blow to land... Oh! Speakin' of..." Brutrumukk turned to address Jub then. "While I did say not to worry if you actually 'it this lot by accident, what with 'em bein' sturdy enough to take a few good knocks an' all, do remember to try not to 'it 'em, yeah? Even if they can take it, this is all meant to be just an act. Not a real fight... As fer the rest o' you..." Brutrumukk turned then to regard the other suits of armor. "I noticed that some o' you missed a few o' yer ques. Just to make sure, you've been readin' yer scripts, right?" After a moment, Brutrumukk frowned. "I do not like the way you reacted to that question... Did you even get yer scripts?" After a moment, Brutrumukk briefly pinched the bridge of his nose and began swearing under his breath in goblin for a time.

No doubt there are those who might be confused by Brutrumukk's sudden change in behavior. Why had he walked back into the danger he had just escaped from? Why was he now acting like this fight was all just a performance? Why had he started affecting the demeanor of a stage director with a personality that was a mix of Candlefoot and Palasha as they gave the goblinoiduo acting lessons?

The answer was simple: Brutrumukk's recently acquired gnome brain told him to do it. He wasn't entirely sure why it was telling him to do all of this, but it was insisting that if he did, the problem he and Jub now faced could be resolved without violence. This would in turn allow them to conserve energy for violence against the giant cats when they caught up to them.

Eventually, Brutrumukk ceased his swearing and straightened himself up again. "Ya know what? It's fine!" The bugbear gnome declared. "It's fine! That's why we 'ave re'earsals, after all. To make sure things like this don't slip through the cracks an' ruin the entire show. I'll see about gettin you lot scripts later. Fer now, you can just improvise fer the time bein'. Who knows it might even gimme some inspiration on 'ow to improve the script. Make Ishan's welcome back show somethin' 'e'll never forget!" Brutrumukk paused then and looked around. "...Ya know what? The lightin' is all wrong. It's too bright in 'ere... You." Brutrumukk pointed at Animated Armor 5. "Go dim the lights and then get back into yer place. The rest o' you get back into yer places now. Once we're all back where we belong, we'll go from the shield strike. An' remember, this is all just an act. So don't actually be 'ittin nobody, yeah?"
I too am alive. Just finished up the last of the PMs, so we should finally be ready to get things moving again. I'm sorry it took as long as it did. Hopefully it shouldn't get that bad again any time soon. I'll have the start of Chapter Five up when I can.
Miss Light

The sight of the frog's happy hopping brought joy to Miss Light's heart like few other things could. Though some might have difficulty discerning this due to the absence of a smile on the woman's face. Though if one were to pay attention to how Miss Light's eyes sparkled as she watched the adorable frog gratefully devour all of her food in one go, they would know she was happy as she could be in that moment. When Ellywick spoke again, Miss Light once more gave no indication of whether or not she actually heard the words. She did respond when Ellywick moved the frog out of sight.

"No! Wait!" Miss Light exclaimed as she tried to reposition herself to a spot where she could see the frog. Before she could though, Ellywick strummed her lute. The wave of magic left Miss Light momentarily stunned. The next few moment had her staring off into empty space while blinking dazedly.

"Feeling better?"

Miss Light turned to look at Ellywick. She didn't answer just yet, but it was clear that her mind was slowly returning.

"I can't blame you for what happened. Buddy is quite cute,"

"...Buddy?" Miss Light said as Arkerym fed memories of what she'd missed from his point of view into her mind. "...Oh. Right. The frog... Yes. Sorry about that. Cute things are... something of a weakness for me." Having grown up mostly locked away in one set of backrooms or another, Miss Light had never seen any cute things prior to her escape. As a result the sight of anything that was sufficiently cute tented to leave her utterly Charmed by whatever that thing was. "...Wait a minute." Miss Light spoke up then as she noticed something in another review of Arkerym's memories. "How do you know my name?"
Arcana is 10. Perception is 8.
Is the room darkened currently? If not, are the means by which it may be darkened readily available?
That's an 18.
Since I got a crit, can Brut discern any other useful information? Perhaps a way to call the suits off or something along those lines?
