Personality: Elise is a patient, caring person, though snappy at times. She easily loses herself in competition and will never give less than her all once she gets fired up. She's occasionally tried to give more than her all, resulting in risky situations and often muscle-aches that would last days after. She enjoys repairing things and playing Yu-Gi-Oh!, though she isn't quite sure what to make of her guardian.
Bio: Elise was born into a dirt-poor family. She started working when she was still relatively young, taking small jobs to get by. One day, she encounterd a man, approximately in his 30s. The man gave her a deck of cards and a stack of cash. When she went home to show her parents, they scolded her for "stealing" the money. Clearly they didn't believe in random strangers handing out money. That was, until the man himself (who had seemed like a god to the young Elise) came over a few days later and explained what had happened. It seemed as if the man had also explained why, but even today these reasons are unknown to Elise.
Since her encounter she has dueled a lot, including games with an ante as well as some underground tournaments, the money of which she used to start a small business for a more consistent income. Running a small shop for repairing motorbikes, bicycles and the like. She'd still duel whenever she had the chance, but not as often as before, partially due to her not participating in underground tournaments anymore.
One night an email came in, which on it's own wasn't anything unusual. The contents were a surprise to her, though. Normally she'd receive emails requesting repairs or planning for said repairs, and occasionally a stubborn email about some underground tournament. This email, while she'd almost dismissed it as one, turned out to be no underground tournament at all. In fact, it was quite the opposite. An official tournament with an astonishing price of 1 million. Sure, she got by nowadays, but 1 million was simply to much to pass one. Determined to play, she left for the tournament. Determined to win, she planned to leave with the prize.

Looking around, Jasmyn found herself in some strange ritual circle. She was relieved to see the lack of cultists around it, but was a little worried regardless. She tried to get up, but found that moving was a surprising lot heavier than before. Looking down to determine the cause, she quickly realized she was now wearing armor. Somewhat pleased, she recalled the wish. "So if this armor works..." She mumbled, pondering the possibilities. Her mind started to wander and eventually came back to why she'd chosen it. Jasmyn felt nauseous.
Deciding to step outside for a breath of fresh air, Jasmyn was greeted by the sight of a bustling little town. She walked around a little, eventually coming across the sign; "Sign up here for the trial of the Hero". Considering this a golden opportunity to test her new equipment, she joined the line and asked the person in front of her "Excuse me. Could you tell me a little more about this trial?"
@Dynamo Frokane Alrighty, decided to go for a more commander-approach. Also, the red and blue is to differentiate players' cards since both of us have Rotten Stalker.
Ronnie got up. That last batle was a beastly mess. He'd have liked to rest up a little and enjoy his victory, but another person already entered the battlefield. Not sure if he was supposed to fight this new adversary, his doubts were soon erased as this person also assumed mageform and started attacking.
Ranca rolled aside, attempting to dodge the Staff of the Fire Magus'Flame Wand's fireball. Raising a Buckler to block the Ember monk's attack that followed the fireball. "Does everyone else have so many support creatures?" Ronnie complained. At least the Rotten Stalker should be out of range for now, so that was a relief to him. Having an idea of how to use the Scallywag Ronnie summoned it, pointed at the ember monk and said "Come on! You can take that guy! Are you going to let him get away with insulting your mother?"
Next, he played Crow Nester and directed it at the opponent. "Oi, bird! Enemy mage. Face damage. Do your thing."
After sending out the bird, Ranca picked up a small pebble and threw it at the Rotten Stalker. With this 'diversion' Ronnie played Sneaky Rogue and whispered "Get me something ranged, will you?"
