Bio: In the whole of Elder Tale, none have pushed the boundries of the known world further than Ryteb. An invalid irl with a passion for adventure, Ryteb had travelled in game from western Europe, charting an in game map of the world. As he was finishing off Asia, by entering the Japanese Server, the Apocalypse hit. Unlike most people, this was seen only as a mild handicap by Ryteb, mainly the fact that city to city teleportation has become unavailable. Despite this, the crazy explorer continues his map building in order to complete his own personal atlas.
Personality: The brain of an explorer in a crippled body, it isn't hard to see why the fantasy world of Elder Tale appealed to Ryteb. An adventurous soul, it is a pain for him to be stuck in one place for too long. Despite lacking a talent for languages, he tries his best to get by without a translator... with varying degrees of success.

This item gives an increase of 115% to defence and resistance, as well as the [Spice Merchant] ability. While outside the [Western European Server], the wearer gains 20% extra gold from quests and monster drops.
A legendary horse that is said to foretell the arrival of a great sage. Ryteb's previous mount took this form after he helped complete the Dark Emperor Event on the Chinese server. Being half-horse and half-dragon, it has scales of pure steel. The qilin runs across the air at 40mph, allowing it to maintain its speed across any surface.
A weapon of legendary proportions, and nearly impossible to attain. In each server there exists a sacred grove, containing a staff known as World Tree Shard. These untradeable items combine to form a Yggdrasil Staff. The weapon increases the users magical attack by 10% per shard, for a maximum of 130% when all 13 shards are collected.
