Current Usually followed by within the next few days a sense of 'Man I wish I still had that (Insert amount of money here) that I spent on (Insert stupid thing I didn't need and got no joy from here).

I'm starting to think that 'Buyer's Remorse' is my whole life. At least once a week I spend money on something randomly then think 'Why did I do that?'

That and while being ghosted sucks, people often have just as bad as a reaction to people they see complaining publicly about other RPers.

I've always refrained from making a big deal out of it because it's almost always against site rules. It's something that is just, part of RP. I only ghost people when they make me uncomfortable.

There's no point in having a discussion with someone who can't make a response without calling someone a Nazi. Like I said, you can't reason with someone who is not reasonable. Get help.

I'd say a summon could be whatever you want. It could give you a power up/transformation, a weapon, a mount, or show up and attack directly itself.

Like for example, Odin could grant someone his horse and sword, or Bahamut could rain swords from the sky without appearing directly (There's so many versions of Bahamut at this point...). Someone like Shiva is more of a direct, appear and act on her own, same with the Knights of the Round. They are summoned to attack as their own entity. But summons can work however you want once your character gains their power. And doesn't need to be bound to one way.

You could summon Odin's horse in one fight, and have Odin himself appear in the next. (Unless it's FF13 where... Odin IS the horse...)

Probably the main thing to think about is what each summon stands for. Like, for obvious reasons, I don't see anyone but my character being able to summon the Knights of the Round.

Someone like Titan is the embodiment of the sheer strength of the Earth itself. Garuda can embody wind and freedom. Ifrit... kinda tends to represent the fires of hatred and anger.

And yeah, it should at the very least take a lot more to earn the power of a higher summon. Like, gaining the more baser ones like Ifrit, Titan, and Garuda, would be a walk in the park compared to earning the power of Bahamut, Ultima, or Omega. And then there's just a wide range of power between them from something like the Moogle King up to Alexander.
I'd say the only ones that would be already taken are Shiva for a later appearance, and somewhat more obviously... Knights of the Round.

Hoshi being combat focused, could be something like Ravana or Susano (Doesn't need to be actual SUMMONS but just like... things that have been summoned in FF history). Those would depend on how much she actually enjoys fighting and competition. They both love combat and being challenged, just one is fire aspected, the other is water.

By the way, I had mentioned this to Kindred a couple times in the past. This probably wouldn't be anything that happened too terribly soon but leaning into the FF side of things-

Would anyone want to get involved with Summons? Obviously KH has its own Summons but these would be more personal Summons tied to each individual character, chosen IC, but based on FF summons. So Ifrit, Titan, Bahamut, Ramuh, Odin, Leviathan, Alexander, Satan... so on, so forth.

Could be a more personal 'boss fight' later on in the story for anyone who wants to try and earn the favor of a Summon.

Nobody would be forced to participate or to get a Summon, just an idea.

Celica took her time eating, thinking to herself, letting everything sink in. After a while, Primrose went to do her own thing, and bit by bit the place cleared out. She was eventually left mostly alone, with just the odd person here and there. And so she finally got up, and decided it was time for her to fully explore the ship. So saw people gathered in the bar, and was there in the doorway when they started talking. But it just gave her an uneasy feeling, and she ended up leaving as it all got started. She just didn't feel like it was really her place to be at something like that, which had nothing to do with her, and was about people she had never met.

And so she went elsewhere, using the time where so many were gathered in one place to explore more quietly. Perhaps it would have been better to have a proper guide, maybe she should have asked one of the other two she had already spoken with for help, but as stubborn as she was, she was determined to figure things out on her own. And so off she went, starting up on the bridge. There wasn't exactly a lot to see up there however, as she had no idea what she was looking at. General... ship, bridge, stuff? The map was helpful, but she didn't feel like staring at it for too long, and so as quickly as she came she was gone.

She went down a level, into the Workshop, then the Training Center, and then the Lab. These were more places where she would probably need an explanation from someone else as to what was going on in them, but she also figured they were mostly self explanatory. She wasn't much of a tinker, nor a scientist or researcher, so the workshop and lab probably weren't anywhere she was going to spend too much time, but truly who could know?

In fact as she went down further, she quickly came to the conclusion that with each room having such a specific purpose, it was unlikely she would see many of them too often. Eventually she came to the Infirmary, where she had first started, and well, she HOPED she wouldn't have to see this place too much. And from there she found herself soon after in the place where they stored Spirits. She wasn't sure how to feel about that, but at least she knew where it was, like the other places. The idea of spirits, whether looking at them as actual spirits, or left behind data, was just a little bit unnerving. And so on her way she went again.

The lower levels held even more confusion for her... she had no idea what any of the rooms were, the Mysticenter, the Business Center, or the Proving Ground. She would have to ask someone later... who could they even do business with in a world like this?

But finally she ended up in the Cargo Bay, and she felt somewhat more at home here. The containers, the heavy equipment for moving them around, it felt just a little bit more like home, like the Industrial District of NLA. Just, on a much smaller scale. She didn't stay too long though, as she did have an intended end goal in mind, as she ended up going back to the upper floors, and found herself stepping into the Armory. Her goal was of course, on the other side, and walking right through she entered the Vehicle Bay. It only took a moment of looking around to see her Skell, propped up, armor torn to pieces, giant hold in the chest, and sparks falling out of it from time to time.

Walking over to, she placed a hand on the the side of what she could reach, and let out a long sigh. She hadn't exactly taken care of it, and she couldn't blame being under that thing's influence for that. She should know better than to act so recklessly with something like this. Skells where she came from were far too rare as it was, and she had been entrusted with one. And now here it was, torn apart, looking like it wasn't going to be in fighting shape any time soon.

She felt bad, not just because of what had happened to it, but because she knew she wasn't the most capable pilot there was to begin with. But where she was from, survival demanded the ability to take on threats that just a person with a gun couldn't handle. She stood there in silent thought for quite a while, imagining how her team would react if they saw the sorry state of the machine. The more she tried to imagine them upset however, the more she knew that would never be the case. Each person she tried to imagine scolding her for having gotten her Skell wrecked, all she could see was their worried faces asking if she was okay, and she knew it was all they would care about. Even the Commander would have been worried about her life first, and the status of the Skell as an after thought. Perhaps the Director would have been upset... but that was his job, to look at the big picture, not take stock of individual lives. He would be the one to acknowledge that a Skell out of commission was one less powerful weapon they had to defend themselves. But nobody else would have looked at it that way.

Thinking through it all, she seemed to be trying to find fault in her actions, to try and imagine someone reprimanding her so that she could try and imagine what they would say, hoping it might help her imagine how she could have done better. But ultimately, all that happened was she reached up and wiped her eyes with her sleeve, muttering a little "I wish you were here in my place Elma. These people could use your help a lot more than mine."

In fact in her mind, she was by far the worst possible person they could have ended up with from her team. Elsa was an amazing leader who would have never come in and tried to take over, but would have given guidance to those around her, while being more than willing to follow orders and go with the plans of others.

Lin would have probably loved this place. Not only could she have had this Skell back in working order in probably a day at most, she would probably be using every resource at her disposal to upgrade it. It would take everything in the crew's power to keep her from trying to upgrade everything else too..

And then there was Cross of course, the hero who held it all together... the one who took over for Elma when she wasn't able to lead. In fact she noted that Elma was often handing over leadership to Cross. There was something special about them... it was like, they were the main character in a story book or something-

Even Irina, Doug, or Lao would have been far better for them to have found. They were all far better soldiers than she was, and much, much more experienced pilots.

Though one thought did hit her... and her face scrunched up just a bit as she thought to herself for a moment. No, perhaps it was better they ended up with her... than that H.B. guy... poor idiot would have probably been kicked off the ship at their very next stop, he was just that insufferable.

Well at least her being the one who was found saved one poor soul from dying a sad, lonely death of their own making...
Had Morgan do some sorta, Libra/Assess on the Guard Armor. Basing its magic defense on a later variant of it but figured they'd all have this strength.
Added Morgan's bit. Changing her dialogue color to a dark gold (Should be plenty darker than Lucian's) to go along with her general appearance change. She's now officially back to the healer she used to be. Just like, a low level one, so you take what you can get.

Celica had been brought back to The Avenger, but she had no energy left after the events of the day. She had been allowed to go straight to the infirmary, where she quickly fell asleep, not even paying any mind to where or, what this place was. She was having one of the first good rests she had in a while. Possibly because it was the first time in so long she hadn't slept inside her Skell. But it helped her mind was free, and she could remember everything, where she came from, what she had lost. It wasn't the most happy of dreams, but subconsciously, she was just happy to remember the faces she had forgotten. The home that seemed so far gone. NLA, the city built from the debris of a colony ship, a human city, that she had come to call home despite not being one of them. And here she was again, in a strange place, but her time for realizing that would come.

In her dreams, she saw her team, and all the people of NLA. And then there was, fire... everything turning to ash, until there was nothing. It was just darkness, and she calmed in her sleep, until eventually, her eyes finally opened to this alien place she had been brought to, slowly sitting up, and rubbing her head. She looked around the unfamiliar place, as if it was the first time seeing it. It took a moment for her to realize she wasn't alone.

She saw that the door was open and that a dark humanoid figure is standing in the doorway, albeit with a slender body beneath a cloak and a large head with hornlike protrusions and a white mask. He seems familiar but the sensation is already fading. He would ask, "Newcomer. Are you awake?"

Her first instinct was to reach for her weapons, but she found she had none, or at least they were not on her person anymore as she looked around for a moment, but managed to calm herself down. She wasn't new to odd situations like this... most of her life had been appearing in new places. Many of them had become home in the past, she allowed herself to hope that might be the case here.

"I am. Who are you, and where am I? I can only somewhat recall being brought here..." Her voice was young, but spoken with confidence. It was as if her mental maturity was beyond her physical maturity, as she looked small and young, and even sounded young. But the way she spoke was more elegant, as if it carried the weight of respect behind it one wouldn't expect to find in someone who hadn't grown up yet.

The stranger flicked on the lights with a sharp claw. When the shadows receded, her guest looked a lot less intimidating all of a sudden, shorter and much lighter than even Celica herself. Only his overlarge head and the thin black sticks he had for legs could be seen outside of his cloak, and though his eyes still shone with scarlet fire, their blaze was much less harsh. This was no specter--it was just a bug. A big bug, but still.

"The previous newcomer. Grimm, master of the Grimm Troupe. A humble performer, pleased to make your acquaintance."[ Grimm bowed very low, then straightened up. "This is the flying fortress of the Lost Numbers, to whom you and your impressive contraption are honored guests. They call it the Avenger, and its purpose is the annihilation of Galeem, who burned our worlds to ash." He tilted his head, eyes narrowed in curiosity. "Perhaps they saw more in you than a victim in need of saving. Like me, a promising recruit in the war for reality's salvation."

Celica sighed at that, and shook her head. "I have been saved more times than I can count, by all different kinds. It's rare that anyone, especially humans, do not expect something in return for their aid." Though she had seen other beings, humans, as she found all too typical, made up the majority of what she had seen thus far. She had to ask what she assumed... "Am I to be a soldier then, to fight against this, Galeem? I suppose it would not be new to me."

Grimm's voice was raspy, sharp as a blade and uncomfortable inhuman, but when he spoke it was to offer reassurance. "You have a choice in the matter. As did we all. To dance to its tune. Or to break free of the cycle." He stepped out of the doorway, silent as the grave. "The mess hall is just that way. Why not say hello to your saviors, and make of them what you will?

Celica was quiet for a moment, before she swung her legs over the side of the medical bed, and managed to stand without much issue. Taking a deep breath, she nodded, and started to walk out, toward the mess hall so she could judge these people for herself...

Bump, going to add more ideas to the list later.

What's the collab for exactly? I thought we were doing a collab after the Guard Armor fight, but the current one going on is for it?
