“BLOODY HELL!”

She swerved right as she looked out of the car window, suppressing the urge to flip the guy off. Idiot. Bastard needs to learn how to turn their blinker on. She sighed and looked down for a moment, grabbing a lip tint and applying it just as she stopped at a red light. She then put it in a black purse that she had in the passenger seat. Another couple of years at this school. It wasn’t too bad. She had a couple good friends either way. 

Birdie approached a perfect parking spot in the shade. She had on her designer shades that were circular and, of course, black and white. Birdie got out of the car and went to the back seat, taking out her 2 suitcases. One black and the other black. She then locked the car, pushing her hair behind her shoulder and beginning to walk towards the school. I wonder if i’m going to have to see that slut. Nah, my “mom” shouldn’t be around anytime soon.

As she got near the school, Birdie pushed up her shades to rest on the top of her head. She then pulled out her cell and quickly went to contacts, going under her list of friends to Webster.

Clicking send before she then put her phone back in her pocket with a smile. She finally got to see one of her best friends again. Going back home was always hell. I mean, her brother barely talks to her and it’s just so awkward with her parents. Either way, that stuff didn’t matter. Was she allowed to smoke on school property? Wait. Do I care? To care or to not care. She sighed and decided to use it to her advantage, putting away the pack of cigarette. She needed to quit anyways. Not that it would last long anyways. 

Finally, she made her way to her dorm. If anything, the dorms here were sweet. They sure knew how to make them feel like real demigods. She quickly began to dig through her suitcase, taking out her clothes and taking them out properly folded. Maybe later she'd go over to a friends dorm. She better not have a bunch of drama in her life today though. She was tired and she really wanted some beer. 

'Good thing I have about 5 bottles in my bag. But, later...' She had some self restraint. 

Birdie then looked over to the left and saw that someone else was in the room. This chick's name was Alessandra, wasn't it? She hadn't noticed at all until now. How long was she even there? She smiled lightly at her, stopping herself from packing.

"Hey. Alessandra? Birdie. Nice to meet you." she says to the girl. She was getting hungry.

With a scent that is always minty, Mortimer stands at a proud 6'2", much taller than the average for girls her age. She has lightly tousled waves. Her hair is at medium length and she has thin bangs that go across her face. Mortimer's eyes are a dark chocolate brown that have a bit of light towards the bottom. Her lips are luscious and pretty full. They are a natural darkish red color. Her nose is narrow and her skin has a somewhat tanish tone to it. Her grandparents never made her wear brand name clothing or anything and allowed her to choose whatever sh wanted to wear. Mortimer wears professional style clothing. White blouses are a yes and so are suit-type clothing. She likes to wear strictly black and white. That's it. No color.

If someone asked Mortimer to describe herself in two words, she'd call herself serious and organized. Those two words are very true to her personality. Mortimer has always been a girl that strives for perfection. Perhaps it was for the normal reason, making their parents happy. But it was more likely to be just the way she was. She cannot stand inefficiency. That is the reason that pretty much everything around her is polished and organized. Mortimer always organizes everything in either alphabetical order or by the contents. But either way, it will be organized. Another part of her is that she cannot stand germs. An obvious germaphobe with the latex gloves that she has carried with her and on at all times. She cannot stand the thought of being touched. If anyone hugs her, they're probably dead.

Mortimer stands up tall, shoulders back with confidence radiating off of her. And there is a lot of confidence stored inside of this female. Mortimer has tried so hard in life to be nothing like her mother that she finds she has created a perfect version of herself. A woman that knows she looks beautiful even though she finds that her heart is contaminated. She feels nervous and hopes people turn around when someone heads her way and she has once threw up by hearing someone laugh too much. Mortimer thought that she was a bad person before but that was a long time ago. Now she has found that it really didn't matter. She was smart, talented, and beautiful. Especially smart. She barely had to study to get good grades. With those things, who cared about her personality? Besides, when it came down to it, she could put up a pretty darn good farce.

Mortimer is someone that doesn't really smile. In fact, you'll barely see her smile at all. If ever. It makes people think that she doesn't like them but that isn't true. Well, she does dislike quite a bit of people so that is a possibility. She can smile if she musters enough strength and feels like smiling. If she smiles at someone, this means that they don't dislike them one bit and that is pretty surprising. Either that, or she is entertained. But either way, it probably won't be happening anytime soon.

Sadness is something that she is accustomed to and likes to ignore. Mortimer hates feeling depressed so she bottles up all of her feelings until they finally just explode. And at times like these, the tears won't stop for a while. Sadness is one thing but she does get angry. Mortimer is easily frustrated though that is quite obvious somehow. She also has a habit of thinking way more than necessary and at times, she can overthink simple things. But not too often. 

Mortimer has gone through life by expressing herself through the canvas. Her emotions are usually shows through the paintings on that day. At times, she'll even realize some emotions that she didn't think she held until it's out on the canvas. Love? Yea how about no. If she were to paint and find that she had romantic feelings towards another, she'll result to hating that person and attempting to get away from them. Mortimer hates the fact that she might fall for someone and she will attempt to deny is as much as possible. But don't think that she likes everyone she is cold towards. That's pretty much her default.

Towards friends, she is somewhat nice but it leans more towards tolerable rather than kind. She is loyal to her friends and she says things as they are. Mortimer doesn't really have much friends though her grandparents wish she would make some friends. If she thinks of you as a friend, she will not scoff when you come near her and she won't tell you to go the hell away. But generally, her personality is shit. If someone compliments her, she will barely look up and instead of thank you,she'll say "I know." That's just the way she is. Most of her good parts she knows about them. But she doesn't find her personality to be good. Compliments on her art honestly frustrate her. She can't see anything good about her art even though it is so beautiful.

History:
Mortimer had a shitty mother that was an alcoholic and a prostitute. She didn't really know her father until the age of 3 but who actually remembers when they were only 3 years old? Her mom would come home drunk and at times bring clients to the house. Mortimer didn't really care though. She was a strange child that just sat in the corner of her room and drew while she was forced to listen to the sound that went through the thin wall and into her ears. Because of this, she took care of herself. She cooked her own meals, cleaned the house, studied, and did whatever else she wanted on her own. This went on for 13 years.

When she was 13 years old, things quickly changed. Her mother was arrested for child abuse even though she didn't really hit Mortimer much. But she was a terrible mother so Mortimer so she went along with it and cried as much as she could. She was then placed into child protective services for awhile until her grandparents came into the picture. Her grandparents that she had never met and never knew about. She was only 13 and actually thought that she didn't have any. Instead of her mothers parents, they were her fathers parents. Apparently her father had died 5 years ago and his parents never knew about the fact that he had a child. 

Her grandparents turned out being a wealthy couple that were the owners of a large and profitable law firm. She found that her grandparents were amazing. They were kind and spoiled her to no end. They took care of her like she was their own child and she wished that she was. Mortimer's grandparents, Lucen and Ruby Vertos were busy with work but always made time to be with her. Well, as much time as they could. She didn't expect them to be there for her 24/7. Without them, she would probably have an even worse personality. However, she got her confidence from them. That large ego was all their work. They buried her with compliments and always made her feel like she was extremely special. Mortimer now feels like she owes her grandparents which is the reason she tries to be as perfect as possible in their eyes.
