Wait a sec! When did I become the bad gu-

...right. Prince of Darkness and all that. Well then, carry on.
*digs myself a grave and just lays in it* :)

Nah, get out of there. You have typing to do!
The scene from the sky was not a pleasant one. Chaos bled through the streets as civilians ran desperately to safety as soldiers on both sides crashed into one another. The once peaceful city was now fully engulfed in the war that had only been at their border a day ago. Asher had known full well that his plan would require bloodshed, but he did not take any joy in knowing that he had dragged countless non-combatants into the fray. Hopefully this will be the end of this nonsense, he thought solemnly, getting ready to descend upon the angel’s crash site.

That was of course until a bright flash of light damn near caused him to fly straight into a tree. The prince thankfully managed to recover in time and avoid the tree by a hair’s breadth, but a surge of apprehension surged through him. The amount of power left behind the light show little doubt in his mind that it had originated from the angel, but that meant that not only was she able to move, but that something was after her. None of his men should have been this far into the woods, which meant that a stray child of darkness had stumbled upon her. Asher knew full well that his people held no love for angels and that most would kill them on sight, but she was of no use to him dead.

From his bird eye view, Asher could see that the angel’s crash site was abandoned, with only a small trail of blood telling him that chances were that she somehow managed to get away. An unnaturally thick fog prevented him from seeing where the trail led though. ”Magic." The realization made Asher curse under his breath. It was very hard to believe that his prey would have the strength to do all of this on her own, but again, there was no time to waste thinking about it. The prince increased his altitude, attempting to look for the origin of the fog.

Thankfully, Asher did not have look far. In different circumstances, he would have counted himself lucky that the fog had not yet had enough time to disperse more through the woods. From the air, the fog spilling silently through the woods resembled an arrowhead, telling him exactly where he needed to go. With a quick burst of speed, the demon managed to overtake the fog and landed in the forest, landing with barely a whisper. Moving as quietly as he could, Asher approached the fog, just barely able to make out the faintest of noises.

Asher grasped his sword tightly, his expression devoid of any hesitation. Indeed, it was time to end this nonsense.
I'm stating on a post right now, just wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to get in on the action.
Well, at least now Caezel can no longer groan about demons not fighting.
@Sarcelle Renard

Yeah, he'll get Uriel's support.

But I've kinda been off of this place. Can someone give me a recap? Goes too fast when I'm asleep.

So far, we have had a phantom that wants to see the king and a war monger vampire stir up trouble in the light kingdom's capital. We also have a small group of children of darkness led by Asher attempting to kidnap Octavia at the same time, and thus all sorts of hell is breaking loose. What I had in mind for Uriel is that he would be leading the escape plan, with him and his men slowing down the light kingdom's forces long enough for Asher to retreat before pulling back himself.
The plan had been going far too well. The guards had already been in disarray when Asher and company approached the castle. Guards were already sounding alarms and almost didn’t notice cloaked group moving through the chaos, although the few that did were silenced before too much of a fuss could be made. Gut instinct told the prince that there was another force at work, but circumstances prevented him from dwelling on it for long. Too much could go wrong if he allowed himself to be distracted. You know, such as their target flying away, as his marksman was all too kind to point out to him.

“Clip her wing,” Asher ordered the eagle eyed werewolf tersely. A brief nod was the only response he got as the werewolf knocked his arrow and fired. The gorgeous weather was proving to be this lands downfall, as the lack of wind ensured the arrow found its mark and sent the angel spiraling down into the forest below. All things considered, there should be no feasible way for the angel to get away as long as Asher got to her in a timely manner. That said though, there was no way he and his men would be able to fight their way to her before somebody else stumbled upon her.

With a quick tug, Asher’s cloak was thrown to the ground. “The plan’s changed. I’m going after the girl, you all fall back and regroup with Uriel.” If everything had gone right on his end, the demon general should be arriving at the gates at any moment, ready to assist with their escape. The general had expressed his fair share of displeasure with the prince’s plan, but it seemed to be awfully difficult to say no to royalty. “I should be along shortly, but tell him-“

His words were cut off by the sound of a fairy landing in front of him and his troops, who all had their weapons drawn and were ready for a fight. This audacious fairy then threatened to gut all of them single handedly. Despite himself, Asher found a small grin forming on his mouth. “Didn't anyone ever teach you the difference between bravery and stupidity?” he asked the gung-ho fairy, but before she could answer he turned to his men and said, “I’m off. If this suicidal light child comes after me, take her out of the sky.” And with that, he unfurled his dark wings and took to the sky.

Time was of the essence. With any luck, the princess would still be alone and recovering from her fall. Unfortunately, the young prince knew better than to expect life to play that nicely, so instead he prepared himself for another battle. The sun was high and shining bright, the air pleasantly caressing his face, and now more than ever Asher was ready to be done with this place.

We've got a bunch of Soldiers of Light over here. No Children of Darkness are taking no Angel. Aurora might die in a couple of posts because of her actions, but THE LIGHT WILL PREVAIL

Just because of your picture I must quote Zander, "No mercy!"
@Meiyuki yeah but she ain't gonna be moving anytime soon XD

Edit: whose turn is it?

I was about to make a quick post of Asher pursuing her.
@Sarcelle Renard you mind if I take control of one of your squad members and shoot Octavia down when she tries to flee?

Go for it.
