Kimberly Juno

Name: Kimberly Juno

X-Men Code Name: Voltic

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Physical Description: Brown hair, brown eyes. A petite girl, standing at 5' 2". Seemingly average build. Usually seen wearing a t-shirt and pants of varying lengths, as well as her favorite cap. All in all, pretty average.

Mutations: -Electrokinesis. Capable of generating electricity as well as controlling it to an extent.
-Enhanced physical capabilities, with agility being the main focus. She moves and jumps more quickly and farther than most humans, though right now it's not anything that normal humans can't do without years of hard work (note: Kimberly did not work for this, she was born with it).

Personality: Short-tempered and prideful, Kimberly is your typical tomboy. She is adventurous and daring, sometimes to the point of recklessness. However, she does think and act quickly during times of stress. That being said, Kimberly can be quite friendly with other people, easily striking up conversations with other people. She also displays a strong sense of justice, usually seeing issues as black-and-white.

Background: Kimberly started as a normal kid, living a normal life with normal parents. She performed slightly above average in school, had her own share of friends, a lived in a normal home. There was nothing that labeled her as too odd or weird. Her parents had enough money to live a comfortable middle-class life as well. All in all, a good life.

One day, in the middle of the night, Kimberly was woken up by a strange sound. She got up to figure out what was going on, and was grabbed by a burglar, knife near her face, before she could react. As the burglar began to question where the money and valuables were kept, however, Kimberly instinctively released a discharge of electricity, stunning the burglar and rendering him unconscious.

Eventually, Kimberly decided to reveal to her parents her ability. Needless to say, they were quite surprised to see their daughter giving off electricity. Slowly, though, they began to accept it, and it was kept a secret from others. Later on, her parents discovered a school called Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, which, if the rumors were to be believed, was not as normal as it seemed. They decided that it would be best for everyone if Kimberly was sent there, to which Kimberly agreed to.

Recap of your mutations awakening: At the age of 9 was when she first began noticing something wrong with her. Certain things tended to stick on to her, metal things she touched sometimes became slightly magnetic for a while, sometimes she gave people static shocks, even certain machines acted oddly around her. She tried to figure out what was going on in her own time, and eventually found out that she was somehow affecting electricity. If she concentrated hard enough, she found out that she could control it, and even generate some herself. She began to experiment with her new found ability over the years, attempting to better control and understand what it was she could do.

Conner Flynigann

Name: Conner Flynigann

X-Men Code Name: Synchronize

Gender: Male

Age: 14

Physical Description: Conner stands at 5' 5" with a slight build. He has dark green eyes and black hair. Conner usually wears a t-shirt, jeans, and a hoodie, all of which is usually black or grey.

Mutations: Synchronize: Conner is capable of fusing, or "synchronizing", with another Superhuman to create a more powerful being with the other. Appearances may vary, though the being's abilities always have enhanced versions of the other superhuman's abilities. Essentially, a new form is created with two minds working as one.

Personality: Conner isn't exactly social. He tends to just listen to others talk, although there are times he's willing to speak his mind, particularly with those he is comfortable talking to. However, he is quite intelligent, and will make the effort to learn about anything that seems or is important in some way.

Background: Conner lived a bit of a harsh life, his family barely able to make ends meet. Fortunately, after a time of stress, they were eventually able to keep a roof over their heads and food on their plate every day, so they had it better than some. School was hardly an obstacle for Conner, having earned exemplary grades every day. However, what really made life bearable for him was his classmate and childhood friend Kimberly. The two were almost inseparable, having formed a close bond with each other.

Time passed, with Conner eventually discovering his ability, which led to him searching over various forms of information for other signs of beings like them. One of the findings, of course, was about Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters . Conner researched further into it, and found that it was a place for people like Kimberly and himself, people with extraordinary abilities. With no concrete proof about such rumors, however, Conner chose not to blindly believe that such things were true. Kimberly, however, wanted him to go check it out as well, so, against Conner's better judgement, they decided to tell Conner's parents about his abilities. Conner's mother was quick to accept it. However, Conner's father was horrified to find that his son and his best friend were both mutants. With that event, Conner decided that it was best to leave and make his way to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

One day, during another test, Kimberly and Conner were having a bit of fun, and the two connected with each other. Then the two kids merged together to form a new being. They promptly separated soon after, and Conner was quick to come to the realization that he had an even odder ability. Naturally, the two worked together even more to figure out how each other's abilities worked.

Have you guys tried to use a normal monster deck with Heart of the Underdog even with Igknights and stuff? It's pretty hard. It either gets destroyed before you get value out of it or you don't draw a normal monster. Kinda sucks.

@Classpet I think whoever said that was referring to 1x1 roleplays, or was talking about doing that in moderation. In any case, just make sure not to post that much without letting others post first. It's hard enough as it is to make sure everyone's characters are all within the same time as everyone else.

It's... difficult to say about the Maju Garzetts. My gut tells me that some cards seem unbalanced, yet my brain tells me that maybe I'm overthinking some things.

Yeah it'll definitely end up forbidden. Simply discarding your hand isn't enough of a drawback for a lvl 10+ monster.
