The real life super heroes thing could of been cool. Killdozer was cool. Anything in order to break the fucking monotony of boring people, who's greatest aspiration is to become slightly less fucking boring by moving up their pay grade another digit into a field that's already been explored by another 10 something generations. Or to try and become interesting by slapping some "ist" or edgy, oh so self absorbed none standard word onto themselves in order to use pseudo intellectualism to try and mask the fact they're just as boring and expendable as the janitor with the education of a constantly absent preteen.

Everyone has free information, everyone has access to market that can mass produce anything to a cheap level. For the first time in perhaps forever, people who would never make it into a respectable college can learn...well..anything. I mean, for fuck sake I can learn electronics, programming, high level math and physics all khan academy alone- and I'm trying...just...sucking a bit, honestly. But I'm trying to learn some more in stem shit. Mostly math- That's not including some (verified) online courses with a bit of money.

I know I fall into this category. I'm complaining about myself too, guys. We have reached the point where we have empowered humanity so much that we are now literally, directly empowering man. The common guy already has the bread and butter of cheap tools, cheap products and open net. If a mother fucker can rampage thru town uncontested in a make shit, half assed "tank" a normal fucker with knowledge in robotics or electronics and a plan can turn a whole city upside down. We got a generation who can KNOW EVERYTHING, but they don't want to be or do anything.

We fucked up. We raised a generation, slapped them on PC, never make them interact with people and act surprised most of them don't know how to talk to people and mass social anxiety is everywhere. We raised people who can be anyone, but don't want to be because the vast majority haven't even got the confidence to believe they can even be a face in the crowd because they get all nervous when surrounded by other people who might unexpectedly say "hi"

We don't even do anything on the web, 90% of is just fuckers circle jerking the same opinions to each other in special spaces. Spouting reinforcing studies that they don't verify, don't look up and don't find a contradicting source. The rest is, memes, some hobbies, and face book drama. Oh, and porn.

I want to change this shit. Super heros could of been cool, man....I swear. Real life super heroes could of been cool. Even if its messed up...even if its scary....it could of been cool. Fuck this gay Earth.

I don't even know what I'm bitching about exactly. Just, first thing I really ever wanted to bitch about since I saw this thread that wasn't inane shit. It might even be bullshit from start to finish, but this is a real cry from me.

However, I got a few crooked exclamation marks to ask:

Outside of immediate terrain what is our nations going to be. I get the gimmick but are we just mindless flesh nations trying to eat each other or will some form of sentient political issues be at play?

What kind of system are you thinking of for the construction and determining power of nations?

Obviously creation is a big part of this. How will that spread to the nation units themselves. Like...if we have 5 players, am I going to have to look up a sheet for all of their custom units. Or will there 1 or 2 custom units and a general "standard" infantry stat or something?

Looks cool. I'm interested, just want a little more info about things I'll be RP'ing exactly before I commit.

Yeah! Like, oh my god. She described her character as happy with a loving father and mother. But suddenly Missus died and she became this ball of spite that hates her poor dad as well!

Yes, parent death *can* be a prominent event. But it's not going to suddenly give you a 180° change from that alone! I tried to be nice to her and said I don't find her unworthy (I like to overcome my instant annoyance and be civil for the sake of future references). I had appreciated that we discussed before booting up something only to have it fail later on.

She's been ignoring me and browsing interest checks since.

Sigh.

This is the third Sue this month. The other two I encountered were:

● A lycan that has wings and can control fire and shadow. Has a human form. Is a samurai and ninja.

● Dad is Satan. Mother is an angel. Is very nice and has healing powers, but if you piss her off "you will regret it".

Walking dead games had better writing than the walking dead series, well at least did pass season 2. Kenny is a fucking saint and I want to tear off bits of his beard and smoke it so I can gain his angel like wisdom and that dumb bitch Molly stayed alive while that awesome, likable hobo got killed in like 3 scenes.

Fuck that, Molly was so poorly written I felt like the dev team had to insert some teens fanfic girl out of a dying wish or something.

I hate the lack of new horror games. I get some are coming out now after everyone got over copying Slender and Amnesia but most of those are just out of the box Unity/stock assets games made by giggling Ukrainians or whatever that think some jump scares and cliche assets are worthy of getting bucks out of steam.

If it wasn't for Spooky House of Jumpscares. A game with problems but stylistically great that legit understands the genre it's parodying it would be another cold year for the spooky franchises of horror games. Some are out: Outlast but its still like a Tundra out here. You think with such great examples of horror done right as a foundation: SH1/2/3 or even scp which for all it's unfinished glory still had some cool ideas for the spookies you'd see more about.

It's shifting. Some stuff is coming out like Anatomy. But it would be nice to see a full dedicated game that didn't involve, FPS, walk forward. Spooky jump scare and repeat.

Yeah, man. You tell it straight. You should find some people to chill with here, they're typically at least some kind of RP you can find that will hit your head in some way.

Oh, shit. I'm always up for making friends, dude. I don't RP alot but I'm always down for making new contacts and jamming with new folks.

I suggest if you want to meet some people. Just run about, look at some profiles and PM. People here are typically cool and like interest being shown in them. They'res not a lot to really warn you with here, the community is pretty scramble which means a lot slides on the smooth functioning of it all.
