Heroes of Beacon - the Next Chapter

I was very tempted to go directly into hostility, you may not have noticed it having written the posts yourself, but they were bordering into hostility and were passive aggressive.

That aside, Seraphs makes a legitimate point. One of the problems is that our characters can be pretty much right next to each other and not know it due to lack of context in some posts.

Would you rather I asked everyone properly put setting and position context into their posts via writing?

Or would you rather I asked everyone to just put a goddamn label at the top of their posts?

Even I know how unreasonable the first option is, which is why I just would prefer everyone put 1-3 words at the top of their post? Seriously. Is that so hard? It's why we have a calendar in human civilization, why we have page numbers, why we have titles, why we have categories, why alphabetical order exists.

SO WE CAN KEEP BLOODY TRACK OF EVERYTHING.

EDIT: Seriously, this is driving me mad. I just can't understand why you WOULDN'T do it. I know the reason, you're even lazier than I am, or you're just insufferable, or something completely different. I just don't understand it.

Sepia looked down at her uniform uncertainly. She didn't think it wise to try swimming in a skirt and blouse, but she hadn't exactly brought a swimsuit either.

"Well... I have my athletic shorts on and my bra is kind of like a swim top. It's nylon and covers everything but my back and stomach." she shrugged and started stripping, stepping out of her skirt and shoes as she pulled her shirt off over her head. After braiding her hair carefully and checking Orthus's chains, she approached the group that appeared to be strategizing.

"Do you mind if I join you? I think the rest of my team has Armory." She asked the boy who appeared to be directing the others.

Just to let everyone know, I check here every day so that I don't fall behind. I'm not inactive or gone, I just haven't had time to sit down and write recently.

Location and notes on star mark: An upside-down five-pointed star about the size of a quarter in the center of the back of her neck right under the hairline. The star is a dark, blotchy grey due to failed white dye injections.

Star power: Cygnus is an electro kinetic. She can control all types of electricity to some extent, but pure lighting is by far the easiest. She is immune to being shocked as well, as her body will automatically bend electricity around itself, even when she is unconscious. She can generate electricity as well, but only in the form of small pulses - enough to stun but not fatal.

Corrupted or Uncorrupted: Corrupted

Personality: Despite being corrupted, Cygnus is most often times a sweet, naïve little girl. She is exceedingly gentle with small animals and prefers them to the company of most people, though she will latch onto kind older women. She is quite shy, and would rather not to talk to people who she hasn't grown accustomed to. Even when she is irritated or frustrated, she often doesn't show it and will instead plot secretively. She usually doesn't mean any harm, though, and her anger blows over quickly much like a summer squall. More to be revealed IC.

Biography: Cygnus was corrupted when she was abducted briefly at a very young age, and her mind has for some reason decided to block out the memory of how it happened. Even though she would go on to be a quite content child, her parents feared that they would be unable to protect their daughter from the stigma associated with corrupted stars and left her with Lux Astra. That isn't to say that they didn't try to maintain the structure of their family, however, as they even attempted to erase the star with white tattoo ink. More to be revealed IC.

Trivia: Likes - Maternal figures, sugary drinks, the smell of bleach, organization, dolls, rodents, and swimming. Dislikes - Know-it-alls, careless mistakes, loud noises, most bugs, and speaking directly to strangers. Phobias - Thunder, tight spaces, heights, and less than well-intentioned people.

"Come with?" Sepia asked, a little surprised at Shiro's invitation. "Me? Really?" she stood up and slung her satchel over shoulder, feeling lighter than she had all day. Imagine that. She, the kid with no social experience desperately compensating by being as sweet as possible, was being invited to things already!

Sepia followed Shiro to lunch, breaking out of her thoughts as Shiro sighed. "Did you forget something?"

Sepia had just enough time to say "Hmmm . . . I hadn't really thought about it." before history class started. She spent most of class pondering this question, as the history lesson wasn't likely to stick in her mind anyway.

As the end-of-class bell rang, Sepia turned and answered with a "cute little fangs" bared grin. "I suppose it is the people here. They have given me excellent first impressions so far." She stood up and gathered her things. "You are going to lunch, then? It will be my first time knowing anyone, as I got here for practice on. . ." she thought for a moment with a cheerful smile. "It seems I have forgotton."
