As long as you don't overdo it. I'm in another RP with a character who does that, and not even intentionally. It has gotten to the point that I'm more annoyed than anything. Having him act out could add spice to the RP, but too much spice and it just becomes unpleasant.

Ahh, I find the split personality in Hidan will certainly fuck things up for people. Imagine, us making a ceasefire with an overpowering enemy that killed many of us, and then Scourge comes and tries to kill or maim the negotiator. Brings a tear to my eye.

Assassin looked at our supposed leader, politely nodding in her direction. The Silent One switched with Hidan, he wasn't really comfortable with talking. From the outside, it seemed like Hidan's posture became more casual and his face less serious."I guess I'm next. Hello, I'm Hidan of the former Yakamura Clan. I am what people would say I am a Jack of All Trades. I'm a pretty good diplomat, an Assassin and I'm pretty good at close combat."

"I like quiet places, slugthrowers, being shirtless" Hidan smiled at Trazi "and reading. I dislike assholes, violent people, people who dismiss slugthrowers, and killers of innocents. I guess I have no dreams or anything, just to be me." He paused, looked around the room, embarrassed smile on his face with his hand rubbing the back of his neck. "Uh, sorry about that. I talk a lot sometimes. I'm guessing we weren't supposed do that thing that I just did." His face became suddenly serious though and looked at everyone in the room.

"But please do not take me lightly. I am not called the Hutt Scourge and the Silent Assassin for no reason. Many have mistaken me for a weakling but I take my job seriously. I am underestimated because of my armour, my weapons and my looks. None of them are alive today. If you do, I will kill you." He paused, his face lightening up while looking lost for some reason and smiled. "Next person!"

I have a history with things like this.

A friend of mine once expressed interest in joining an RP with me. He then finished his character sheet two weeks after the RP had died.

I also once waited an entire month for him to post. Turns out he had no keyboard. So I bought a keyboard for him, he then posted a week later. Posting at a rate of something like 1.1 posts per month. The RP later died, with him having posted a grand total of less than 10 times.

I had a crew interested in doing Dark Heresy once. A (different) friend and I had finished our Character Sheets that night they had planned for it. Nobody else made sheets, we still have not done Dark Heresy to this date.

I also had a crew interested in doing a Titan RPG where we would play as Imperial Titans. Seeing as there isn't an official Titan RPG that I know of, I homebrewed an entire system, basing it off of Dark Heresy or something like that. The Titan RPG never happened.

I was conscripted by a friend to help develop this RP we are doing right now, alongside TheEmperorsBlade. However, he disappeared. So I took over as GM.
