@Azure Sea I said that his master had died during his second year of beacon (aka the first year for Team RWBY, the same year that everything between Seasons 1-3 happened) and he travelled back to his village for the Vytal Festival (because classes are cancelled for the tournaments). From what I can tell, not all the teams were in the tournament so it's not hard to guess that Team VRDT weren't part of the tournament and he got permission to go.

"Outside of a sparring match, If someone is pointing a sword at you, that makes them an enemy. Grimm aren't the only 'evil' out there, you know... Still, i agree it's better he's with not against us." The wolf shrugged a little before the two wheels clicked to a stop. He raised an eyebrow at the selected combatants, but wished Terra luck with a small smile and a curt nod. To be honest, he was kinda pitying the blond monkey...

Nevertheless, Venator settled back into his seat, waiting for the fight with veiled interest.

@Azure Sea He was already in his village when the Grimm attacked (because he was visiting his master's grave as I said in his bio), so he's looking for transport back to Beacon. He doesn't know fully about what happened, he just knows there's been an attack.

Venator watched the match with an analytical interest as Asher and Terrance sparred, but he wasn't really that surprised when the black-haired katana wielder began to pressure the blond. His semblance was something of note, however, as it reminded him of a rumour he had heard when he still living with his old group. His hand rested on his cheek in a thoughtful expression as he leisurely pieced the information, a small smirk on his face as made the connection between his fiery classmate and 'the top dog of the lower streets'. He decided to keep to himself, after all he was no better himself...

As the fight came to an end, Venator watched Asher and Terrance depart from the arena to get changed before Lynn's comment caught his attention. He turned his head to look at her. "Part of being a Huntress is facing enemies that you believe to be nigh-impossible to beat. When you're in a difficult situation, you must adapt, overcome and succeed. That being said, I can't blame you for avoiding a one-on-one with him. His semblance makes it a difficult endeavour at best..."

He leaned back into his seat as he turned back to the two screens at the front of the room. "For now, it's better to observe and plan how to adapt." His hand returned to his chin as he waited for the competitors for next match to be selected. If he was selected, that was fine and if he wasn't he could analyse the fight from outside. Glancing briefly at Miss Lariet, as if tempted to volenteer, he waited.

I decided to whip up a quick CS for the girl I mentioned in Ryuu's IC, In case she shows up later on.

Weapon{s}: Peregine: Bastard Sword/compound Longbow. In longbow form, it can use regular, dust and trick (Rope, Net, Stun, etc) arrows.
Semblance: (WIP)
Bio: A Career Huntress, she was born as the daughter of an accomplished huntsman, Hemlock Moss, and huntress, Jade Pine. It was her goal since childhood to become a successful huntress, and this single-mindedness reflected in her sharp, disciplined demeanour during her education as a huntress. Nothing was more important to her than that, and she ruthlessly pushed others aside for that goal.7

When she entered Beacon, she was made leader of Team Verdant, a role she felt she was entitled to. While initially a strict and harsh leader, Ryuu was the one to show her that it took more than discipline to be a Huntress. He was taught to follow and respect a code of discipline, but he also recognised the need to let go and relax with those close to you. Over the first year of Beacon, he got her to slowly open up and the two each fell in love, unaware of the feelings of each other. By the time they reached their second year, everyone could see how they felt, except for each other. It stayed this way until the Fall of Beacon, during which she confessed to Ryuu before they lost contact. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
