[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Selena the Bayleef, Folio Town Center

@Ninian @Light Lord
The Meganium took in what Karaha had said, and judging by the severity of his injuries he wasn't too far off. Her medical training luckily prepared her for this. She had practiced healing and other such things since that lone Audino had come once, seeing that lady do what she did best inspired her, and she never looked back. She wasn't the official town healer, of course, but she would do.

Firstly, she had to get him somewhat stable. She began using Aromatherapy, letting energy flow to the weakened Generator Pokemon. As this happened, she looked over his wounds much more closely. This was definitely the work of a Ground Type, a powerful one. She didn't recall any such Pokemon living down in the Trunk, this worried her. She'd have to keep Selena far away from that place for a while.

And what was this, something on his lips. It looked like the remains of an Oran Berry. Good, Oran Berries would help him get some strength back. From what she could tell, however, he would be recovering for at least a few days, if not a few weeks. "He'll be off duty for a while, but he'll pull through. His injuries aren't life threatening, but they'll take some time to heal. We should probably get the town doctor to take a look at him, but he's definitely been hit by something that definitely shouldn't be down in the trunk..."

Selena was amazed at her mother's talent. Sure, she'd heard about it from her, but she'd never seen her in action. But... learning that something might be down in the trunk... that was unsettling. But this day... she felt like she never had before. Things were beginning to look up...

"Hey, look, it's her again. We thought we had made it clear that you weren't welcome around here, weirdo." It was Bruce, a Hitmontop, one of the biggest bullies in town to Selena. Her mother was clearly distracted, and the injured Heliolisk had drawn a lot of attention to the area. Of course they'd show up now. "Can't you take a hint? Beat it!"

The courage she felt earlier was now gone. The tears started flowing like a river, and in moments she was gone. Her mother heard her child leave. "Selena? Where are you going?" She wanted to pursue her daughter, but had to focus on Robel.

Bruce and his pals laughed and laughed. "Haha, shows that weirdo again." However, one face in the group wasn't amused. "Bruce, why are you such a jerk? I wonder why I even hang out with you anymore." It was a Quilava, a young one at that. "Ember, don't be like that, you now how she is... she's a..." The displeasure in the fire types eyes shut him right up. "I'm done with you bunch, goodbye Bruce." She spat an Ember at his feet, and off she went. She didn't know what they didn't like about that Selena girl. Sure she was different, but that's the way she was raised. She shouldn't be shunned for that. Hopefully she could track down the shy grass type.
@Experiment 249 It hasn't battled yet, so i'd say it's fine.
Welp... that was a very late post... XD
@Ophidian Hmm... well I can tell you that trainer registries are not as protected as you think. I remember during the Sinnoh League that trainers had pretty much direct access to the data of other Trainers via PC. I could probably work with you and help develop something that he could be after if all else fails. I'm saying this because it is canon within the Pokemon Anime and such.

And I completely get trying to show off your character's backstory in a unique and interesting way. I like to promote creativity for my RPs as much as possible, but to a certain extent to where it still makes a good amount of sense for the RP.

And again, there's at least one museum in Viore that is sure to have lots of ancient artifacts that could go for lots of money on the black market. Those would be extremely well guarded. Then there is that data that would be useful to those within Viore as well... even Royal Skies. They may have specialists, but whose to say they won't buy it?

And actually... Royal Skies might not be what it appears... I will say nothing more!

So there's lots of options, and I thought of one myself. You said he left Kanto to escape the heat, maybe he had to lie low for a while or something, but ends up getting mixed up in something bigger than he's ever been in before. I'll try to help you out as much as I can, as long as you want some.
@Ophidian Sad to see you go so soon, and I could have compromised if asked. You were kinda abrupt here as well. I take the blame for not being around to take a second look until after your first post.

In the past I've let people be part of Royal Skies for one. And, if it could really add to the plot of the story, i'd let you stay working for the Rockets. Just past experience tells me it probably won't work, but I've been wrong before.

So if you're going to leave, good luck.
@Ophidian I like the character idea, but I wish I had seen it thoroughly first. The character can stay, but I'd try to figure out something else for why he was here. Like you said in the post, Viore is practically bathed in ancient history and treasure as some would consider. Why not just be there for personal gain?

And any info that the Pokemon Centers would have would be basic at just about any Pokemon Center in the world. And the important info that exists for the plot is useful only to someone in Viore. That's all I mean.
@Ophidian Team Rocket has absolutely zero influence in the Viore Region. Period. Tried working with it before, didn't work out.

Any outside organizations have pretty much zero influence. Only Team Royal Skies has been noted to have any interest or activities in Viore. And they are a pretty closed organization, they have specialists for this kind of stuff.
I'm just gonna drop the Double Battle thing since no one seems to be working on it now... I'll figure something out.
Finally finished that post again, revised it a bit with some of the more recent posts.
Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Viore International Airport]

It was a few minutes later that she had finally gotten through all the airport security. She found the amount kind of strange, Goldenrod didn't have nearly as much. Well, now wasn't the time to think about stuff like that! She had a journey to begin! New Region, New Adventure, New Friends... but where was she supposed to start? An animated sign above the exit to the terminal answered that for her.

Welcome to Viore! If You Are a Trainer and This is Your First Time Here, Head to Professor Maple's Laboratory at the Farthest North Side of Town!

Well, that was that then. "Alright, so all we'll have to do is head over to that lab, right... Oh no, I almost forgot about you!" She grabbed a Pokeball from her backpack, tossed it in the air, and out popped a little Leaf Pokemon Chikorita. She looked around for a moment, until her gaze turned upon her trainer, and her expression soured a bit. "I know, I'm sorry I couldn't let you out sooner. These airlines have some wierd restriction on letting your Pokemon run freely... but that's done with now, this is Viore, our new home!"

The Chikorita looked around once more. This place seemed the same as the one they went to when they left Goldenrod. She wasn't impressed, how different could this place be to their old home? "Well, we're heading up to the Professor's lab to get a Pokedex, then we can start our journey at last! You excited?" This brightened the small grass types mood. <Of Course I am! I've been waiting like forever!> The Chikorita was jumping up and down almost uncontrollably.

"That's the spirit! Come on, our journey has almost begun!" Lily motioned to the door to the terminal, and took off at a rather quick pace. Chikorita followed suit at the same if not quicker pace. Everything had gone perfectly today, nothing could go wrong now... THUD!

Brent Ignia
[New Amber Town - Airport Street]

Brent and Cyndaquil had gone a bit further ahead from their father, who had stopped to tie a loose shoe lace. The duo had diverted their attention to a newly landing aircraft coming in for its landing. "You know, they say humans built aircraft because they were amazed at how Pokemon could fly the skies so freely, that's something I'd believe." The daydream like conversation was halted by a sudden THUD!

Brent went tumbling to the ground with Cyndaquil. Slightly dazed, he looked up to see what, or who rather, had rammed him like a truck. It was... a girl, about his age he guessed from her stature. "Ow... hey, you okay?" He asked, getting to his feet. The girl shook her head for a moment, then slowly got to her feet. "Yeah, sorry about that..." Brent waved his hand. "No worries, I wasn't watching where I was going for a sec. The name's Brent, that's Cyndaquil." He replied, pointing to the fire type who had jumped back to his shoulder. "My name's Lily, that's Chikorita." The girl replied, pointing down to the grass type next to her.

Finally, Brent's dad caught up with him. "Brent, making a new friend already?" Brent looked at his dad. "You could call it that, we kinda bumped into each other here, literally." His dad chuckled. "You know, that's the same way I met your mother. Hahahahaha..." A bead of sweat dropped from Brent's forehead. "Well... oh, you're just coming here to Viore I'm guessing, right?"

Lily nodded. "Yeah, my mother got a job here in Viore, so me and my dad came to live here. I'm just starting out as a Trainer... Oh yeah! I need to go get a Pokedex!" Brent smiled. "Well, just so happens we're heading the same way, wanna come?" Lily beamed. "Really? That would be awesome! Thank you!" Brent's dad took the lead again. "Well, we better get going. If I know Edward, he's probably running around the Lab getting ready for the next big expedition today." Lily seemed puzzled at the remark. "Expedition? What does he mean by that?" Brent smiled and started walking. "You'll find out when we get there." Lily looked down to her partner. "What do you think he meant by that... hey! Wait for us!" She yelled as she jogged after them.

As they walked, they passed by the local Pokemon Center. It seemed the group there was beginning to grow. One thing that caught their attention was a rather large Dragonite with a small girl. "Well, she must be one good trainer to have a Dragonite at that age..." Said Brent's father as they passed by, continuing down the road towards the north side of town. (@Ninian Kinda)
