[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

@Ninian That would be quite helpful. I'm not 100% done with all of them (As one or two need to be redrawn, and some need to be drawn period). I'll shoot you a PM when I have them.
Also, my scanner has been having an issue lately, so I still have to wait to find a solution in order to get some images for the characters.
Meet the first two major NPCs that the characters have met so far in the RP.

Bishop
[New Amber Town - Maple Pokemon Lab]

@Ninian @Light Lord @void liege
Bishop decided to go and prepare some Pokedex's for these new trainers. The boy she saw looked like he'd enjoy a deep blue, or maybe turquoise. The girl on the man's shoulders seemed peppy and upkept, if be it a little immature. Pink would suit here she thought. As she sat them down on a nearby table, what she thought at first was a Machoke banging at the lab's semi-automatic door. She heard a somewhat muffled but easily distinguishable voice poke through. "Well, she sounds like quite the little brat herself..." Bishop thought to herself as she headed over to the door.

She arrived she found quite an angry faced girl. One look at her told her that this was the kind of trainer she loathed. She was a wild one, with quite a bit of attitude. However, that attitude told her even more, that she had no interest in becoming friends with anyone and just wanted to go on a journey to get away from something. One might go as far as to say she may mistreat her own Pokemon from time to time, but she wouldn't say any of this aloud. "I'm afraid that boy is right, but I can help you all. If you'd follow me inside, you can call me Bishop. I'll get you all squared away." She replied, waving the kids inside. She knew just the color to give this little brat, a dark mahogany. That would suit her personality just fine. She would also tell her boss about this girl, she was one to keep an eye on.
Ember

Gender: Female

Pokémon: Quilava

Ability: Blaze

Moveset:

  • Ember
  • Flame Wheel
  • Quick Attack
  • Dig

Personality: Ember has a fiery spirit, and that's no pun on her fire typing. She tends to be a wild child, and often gets mixed in with the wrong crowds. She eventually wises up, though. She's a gentle spirit at the core, and doesn't have a wicked bone in her body. However, getting her angry is a big mistake... the last Pokemon to get on her last nerve ended up with third degree burns for about a week. She hasn't had much training or battle experience before, which makes her a rookie when it comes to dungeon exploration, which she is an avid fan of.

Backstory: Ember was born a Cyndaquil to a single Typhlosion mother who lived near the center of Folio Town. Her father had gone missing months before after he kept raving about an unproven discovery of a second Mystery Dungeon in high branches of the Folio Trunk. Only his treasure bag was ever found, no sign of what happened to him has been found to this day.

Not having a strong father figure caused Ember to get mixed up with some bad Pokemon around town, one in particular being a young and reckless Tyrogue named Bruce. Over time she had many falling outs with the fighting type, but somehow always ended up back in the group again. This often put her at ends with her mother.

Soon enough, as is the natural process, Ember evolved into Quilava. At first she hated her new form, she had trouble walking around with her longer body and was upset that she couldn't get into many places she could when she was a Cyndaquil. Over time she has slowly started to wise up, and now has been trying to teach Bruce and his gang the error of their ways. It's... not going well. Recently her temper has begun to flare more than ever, and Bruce is about to touch that potentially deadly last nerve. She's been working on controlling her nasty temper since that incident when the Servine at the Blue Treeko stepped on her foot by accident... yeah, they don't talk about that much.

@Ninian @Light Lord Quick Question: Is Lilisette from Folio? Just wanting to know because of two of my characters being from Folio, if they were to see her they would remember her.
Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Outside Maple Pokemon Lab]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Brent looked over the dark swordsman closely now, it was kind of hard to believe that was a Zoroark. "I know I've heard about Zoroark's Illusion Ability from my brother, but I never knew you could use it like that! Yeah, way cool!" He answered. Lily walked over to the disguised Pokemon, looking up at him. "So, why are you disguising yourself like that? Are you nervous about people seeing you as a Zoroark?" She asked.

They then kind of drifted the topic back to the Pokedex's. "But yeah, I'd guess that one of the Lab Aids could help you out up there. Prof. Maple is gone a lot, so he must have someone else who can give them out." That reminded Lily, she'd show them the Viore Pokedex since it was likely neither of them had seen one before (granted she hadn't seen one before ten minutes ago). She pulled out the square device, showing it off. "Yeah, this is a Viore Pokedex. It kind of reminds me of a version used in Kalos that I saw on TV once, but check out how it works!"

She picked a Pokemon from the group to scan. It was obvious Nasir didn't like being in the spotlight all too often, so she picked the Ampharos. She clicked the button and on the screen appeared a 3D image of an Ampharos. "Ampharos, the Light Pokémon and the final evolved form of Mareep. Because Ampharos' light can be seen from a great distance, people once used that light to communicate by sending signals back and forth." Replied the machine. "Cool, isn't it?" Said Lily.

[New Amber Town - Outside Maple Pokemon Lab]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Brent looked over to Devon, who was in turn looking at them questioningly. He'd be honest, he had no clue what would happen... then again, Maple had mentioned his aids would probably help. "Maple said something about his aids being able to help out, they'll probably get you all squared away." He looked up to the large building, seeing several people in more appropriate lab attire moving around going about their daily activities.

Lily, though, had finally put the pieces together. "I knew I'd seen you somewhere before! I lived in Goldenrod before coming here, I saw your performance in that contest one time! That reminds me... where's your Zoroark? It looked amazing, you two had such good, oh, what's it called... synergy I think it was called." She said.

Bishop
[New Amber Town - Maple Pokemon Lab]

Well, Maple was off on his explorations again, time to see what he had been working on. Bishop looked around, making sure no one could see her at his desk. She logged into his computer using the username and password on the bottom of his stapler, then checked out what he had been studying recently.

"Well well, what do we have here? Seems he's been looking into the Legend of the Three Beasts now. This could be useful..." She inserted a flash drive, downloading a copy of the info onto it. After it finished, she took the flash drive, stuffing it into her pocket. She powered down the computer, leaving the room just the way it was.

She took a quick look outside. More trainers coming for their Pokedex's. She was in a perfect position for her mission. She had become Head Lab Aid for Maple, so she was in charge of handing out Viore Region Pokedex's to new trainers. This allowed her unwarrented access to his findings and to see what trainers starting their journeys would become a target. She looked at the ones on the steps, nothing but happy, young trainers ready to see the world. They'd be no threat. She waited patiently as they chatted below.
They were right at the entrance... whatever.

On another note, if you couldn't tell, Lulu has a one hundred percent genuine fear of Spider Pokemon. She doesn't even like to talk about them, more or less encounter them and have to fight them.
@Lucius Cypher Lunch isn't really over, more like interrupted. Everyone pretty much went out to check out what was happening in the Town Square, which would be a badly hurt Heliolisk named Robel. A Meganium named Leanne has been helping him, but Devon went out and finally got the town healer, a Chimecho named Rhys.
