[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Outside Maple Pokemon Lab]

@Ninian @Light Lord
The two were a little shocked that Celes had a Dragonite already. Maybe there was more to her than meets the eye... Devon popped the question about their Johto Region Starters, which they actually didn't quite know how to answer. "To be honest... I don't know if Professor Maple even hands out starter Pokemon. Cyndaquil here was a gift from my brother Ryan, it was bred from his Partner Typhlosion."

Lily was starting to put some pieces together now. Nasir said Devon had lived in Johto, now she knew she had to have seen him before! "My mom gave me my Chikorita before we came to Viore. But you said you lived in Johto? You didn't happen to live in Goldenrod, did you?"

Their two Pokemon were now very curious about the growing group. Brent's Cyndaquil was intrigued with Nasir. <You don't smell like a human, you're a Pokemon aren't you? That's a really good disguise!> His focus soon shifted to the cross armed Monferno. <You look like a Fire Type like me, aren't you? But... you seem a lot different than me too!> He was young, younger than Chikorita. He hadn't known as much about other Pokemon as her.

<Of course he's different than you, you're both different Pokemon. Not all Pokemon are alike, ya know.> Her gaze shifted to the Ampharos and Dragonite. <You two look strong! One day I'll be as strong as you, if not stronger, count on it!> She was a confident little Grass Type, with big dreams but a realistic goal.

Soon there was a loud toll through the town, it was a clock tower near the center of town. It gonged a few times, signaling the turn of the hour to 3:00. Almost exactly on cue, two large off road trucks pulled out from behind the lab, taking off down Amber Street, the main street in New Amber Town. "Well, there goes Prof. Maple, off on his expedition."
@Light Lord Keep in mind that the place seems to be covered in Spider Webs.

@floodtalon @Polaris North Sky Tower is going to be uncharacteristically empty, devoid of any Wild Pokemon or Guardian Pokemon.
Current World Time: 3:30 - 4:00 P.M.

Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins and Company
[Lilac Meadow]

The group of five continued onward slowly, making sure to watch all angles. They continued along the usual well-worn path towards the Meadow's Center, a beautiful water pool constantly refilled by a natural waterfall, covered in Water Lillys. However, something stopped them in their tracks not even a fourth of the way through the field. A bunch of tracks, obvious signs of a struggle, and some drag marks.

Rico was taking a close look at the tracks, but Lulu looked like she was starting to have a meltdown. "Lulu, relax, I'm right here." Her friends seemed quite concerned. "Is... is Lulu alright?" Asked Flare. Lulu was almost in a state of complete panic, the only thing keeping her grounded to sanity being her brother. "If all of these signs are right, we're dealing with either Ariados or Galvantula, or their evolution lines, or both. And Lulu... she had a bad experience with those kind of Pokemon." Lulu started to shake. "Don't talk... don't talk about it... I don't want... I can't..."

"Remember what we're here for, Lulu!" Yelled Lyla, snapping Lulu back to her senses. "Yeah, Krissy is counting on you, we're counting on you. Don't let fear cover up your courage." Said Peach. Lulu stood there, motionless for a moment.

Spirit the Lucario
[Valiant Village]

@Iatos
This guy was definitely an odd one. His Aura was all over the place. The words he spoke came from what sounded like a broken man, with no real motivation except greed. He stepped aside as the giant walked past. "You're right about a few things. A battle here is not what I desire. As much violence as I've seen today... let peace reign. But, there are many things you have wrong."

He didn't even know if the behemoth was still listening, but he kept talking. "I'm no child, in fact my age probably outlasts yours. I've trained many over the years, I've seen much in my life. I do believe you've faced Mega Evolution before, but tell me this: how many have you faced that truly understood why they achieved such power? Many can find such power, but using it to its fullest is a task one must take years to perfect."

He paused and continued. "You seem like a Pokemon that's given up on the world as it is, I can see it in your eyes. You have nothing left to lose, but no real purpose except to gain power. That path will only lead you to destruction. Many have tread such a path, none have succeeded."

He finally decided to wrap it up. "I don't wish to make you an enemy, but I know you don't want to make me a friend. So I warn you, through my journeys I've befriended some of the most powerful teams to have walked the face of the planet, and I've trained some myself. So if you truly think you want me as your enemy... that is your choice. But let nothing happen to this village, for if something does happen to it because of you... not even Arceus himself could save you then."

He walked past the behemoth himself. He'd said what he wanted to say, and he had no regrets about it. He told the truth, he meant what he said. He knew that not all Pokemon held complete darkness in their hearts, there was always some slice of good that would shine through when they most needed it. He always tried to see the good in people. While he still did not trust this odd Pokemon, he would not make him an outcast or enemy.

Now he had to return to the task of preparing for the Founders Day Festival. He would stop by the Guild to see if any important bulletins had come through, then head back to the village center to see how decorations were coming.

Razor the Excadrill
[Valiant Village - Spirit's Guild]

@Banana
It had been a long time since he had led anyone on a tour of the Guild's facilities, it felt good to tutor a newcomer. "We keep only the basic necessities here, enough food to hold over Guild Members and Guests, supplies for each team to head out with, and just enough money to cover basic expenses. Spirit is a very generous Pokemon, giving most of the money he earns to the town to improve it and keep it on its feet in times of need."

They passed down the hall, coming to a stop before a painting done by the local Smeargle. "Ah, that's Spirit with his most prized pupils. The Swords of Justice. The five of them founded this town together... man it devastated him when they vanished... that painting shows Spirit as the happiest I've ever seen him." As if on cue, Spirit entered the scene. Razor straightened a bit as he walked in. "Hello, Guildmaster, I was just showing... er... I'm sorry, your name must've slipped my mind."

Spirit glanced at the newcomer, then looked back to Razor. "How're the others doing?" Razor snapped to look up at Spirit. "We had Melody come over and take a look at them, minor injuries, they'll be back to active duty by tomorrow." Spirit nodded and turned to head back out, but paused at the door. "And to you, my young ice type stranger, welcome to Valiant Village." And off he went.

Bisharp and Company
[Sky Tower]

@floodtalon @Polaris North
The Haunter was definitely more of a loner, he could tell already. However, he was hesitant to let him go. "Hold up, something doesn't feel... right. If this is the home of the Legendary Rayquaza, why haven't we been attacked on sight by guards yet anyways?" The group looked around. "He has a point... I'm feeling no vibrations, but given we're on clouds, that's not unusual I think." Said the Hippowdon.

"It is quite quiet, odd." Said the Beartic, possibly the longest sentence he'd said yet. The Bisharp looked over to the Haunter. "Take a quick peak, but something is definitely off about this place. The rest of us get ready to move. Machamp and Beartic, you'll be with me. Hippowdon, you go with Drago and Valentine."
Breeze the Shaymin and Others
[Folio Town - Town Square]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Breeze wasn't one hundred percent sure what was even going on now, everyone seemed to be everywhere, with a Heliolisk in the center of it all. She slowly began to piece together everything so far. There was the flash from the Escape Orb, probably from the Heliolisk, Robel if she heard correctly. He must have escaped from the dungeon she heard about in the trunk of the tree. He was roughed up bad, so there was the reason for the escape.

Luckily it seemed everything was well in hand. A Meganium was tending to his wounds, with Karaha assisting, and Devon off to find the town's healer, named Rhys. Soon the Totodile returned with a Chimecho, who turned out to be the town healer. "A Chimecho, huh? Honestly I would have expected a Chansey or an Audino from the travels I've been on..." She continued to hear murmers and voices in the crowd, hearing the same name several times: Glyph. Karaha seemed to be well informed about the town, maybe he would know. "Hey, Karaha? I keep hearing a name being passed around, who's Glyph?"

The Meganium looked up as the Chimecho approached with the Totodile. "Ah, Rhys, great timing. I've got him stable, but he needs some expert treatment. I'm not exactly as qualified as you, anyways." She said, continuing to let Aromatherapy wash over the downed Generator Pokemon. Then Breeze noticed something out of the corner of her eye, a young Kirlia, almost as young as herself. Oddly colored at that... who was this newcomer?

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Outskirts]

The two looked out over the vast desert surrounding the tree Folio Town resided in. It seemed never ending, a somewhat dreary existence if one thought about it enough. The two female Pokemon were chatting with one another as they sat on the branch overlooking just about everything as far as the eye could see. "You're pretty skittish, you know? But once someone gets to know you, you're like an open book." The Bayleaf blushed at the comment. "I've always been shy around new Pokemon. It's not because I'm weak, oh no. My dad's trained me since I was a little Chikorita, but I've always hated battling."

"A dad huh? What's it like?" Asked Ember, making Selena a bit confused. "What's it like? Don't you have a dad?" The Quilava looked down over the desert. "I... did at some point. My mother said he went missing up in the high unexplored branches of Folio before I was hatched. She would always talk about how he was a kind, generous, and well respected Pokemon."

The Bayleaf looked over. "He sounds like he was a great Pokemon, what exactly happened?" The Quilava looked over to Selena. "Well, mom said he kept raving about some discovery about the branches, that he'd found some undiscovered dungeon high above Folio Town. Nobody believed him, so he left to get proof. Days passed, and there was no sign of him. A search team was sent out, but all they could find was his empty Treasure Bag."

"Wow... that's so sad..." The Quilava shook her head. "Well... I don't know. My mom thinks it's because I never had a good positive male role model that I kept getting mixed up with jerks like Bruce. Really... I think she's right. But... I'll never admit it to her face." She smiled, then looked back towards town. "This view really is amazing, but I think we should head back before anyone starts to worry. Plus, Bruce and his bunch should be on the far side of Folio by now." Selena nodded, and the two set off back towards the Town Square of Folio.
Well, like I said before. Lilac Meadow isn't technically a Mystery Dungeon, or at least not classified as one.
Ember

Gender: Female

Pokémon: Quilava

Ability: Blaze

Moveset:

  • Ember
  • Flame Wheel
  • Quick Attack
  • Dig

Personality: Ember has a fiery spirit, and that's no pun on her fire typing. She tends to be a wild child, and often gets mixed in with the wrong crowds. She eventually wises up, though. She's a gentle spirit at the core, and doesn't have a wicked bone in her body. However, getting her angry is a big mistake... the last Pokemon to get on her last nerve ended up with third degree burns for about a week. She hasn't had much training or battle experience before, which makes her a rookie when it comes to dungeon exploration, which she is an avid fan of.

Backstory: Ember was born a Cyndaquil to a single Typhlosion mother who lived near the center of Folio Town. Her father had gone missing months before after he kept raving about an unproven discovery of a second Mystery Dungeon in high branches of the Folio Trunk. Only his treasure bag was ever found, no sign of what happened to him has been found to this day.

Not having a strong father figure caused Ember to get mixed up with some bad Pokemon around town, one in particular being a young and reckless Tyrogue named Bruce. Over time she had many falling outs with the fighting type, but somehow always ended up back in the group again. This often put her at ends with her mother.

Soon enough, as is the natural process, Ember evolved into Quilava. At first she hated her new form, she had trouble walking around with her longer body and was upset that she couldn't get into many places she could when she was a Cyndaquil. Over time she has slowly started to wise up, and now has been trying to teach Bruce and his gang the error of their ways. It's... not going well. Recently her temper has begun to flare more than ever, and Bruce is about to touch that potentially deadly last nerve. She's been working on controlling her nasty temper since that incident when the Servine at the Blue Treeko stepped on her foot by accident... yeah, they don't talk about that much.

Team: TBD

Guild Affiliation: TBD
Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Outside Maple Pokemon Lab]

@Ninian @Light Lord
The two were caught off guard, to say the least, when one of the trainers heading their way suddenly took off into a full sprint with a girl probably a few years older than them but less mature than either of them. They soon reached the steps where they were, the guy speaking very formally. The girl, she spouted a simple "Hi." Not long after, another boy caught up to the rest, clearly out of breath. His Pokemon came not long after, with an Ampharos clumsily rushing behind them.

"Well... quite an entrance you have there, to say the least..." Said Brent, scratching at his head nervously. "My name's Brent, nice to meet you." Lily looked over the newcomers carefully. Most of the Pokemon seemed to crowd around the younger boy, so she easily assumed they were his. The girl was definitely a little older in age, but much younger in maturity then them. "Same here, my name's Lily!" She said joyfully.

The older male seemed... off to her though. Unless he was an Olympic athlete, there's no way he could have sprinted that quickly without needing even a small amount of time to catch his breath. He also carried what looked like a sword. It might have been cool, yes, but who carried one around in public these days? "I don't think we quite caught your name." She said, pointing the comment towards the older male. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she swore she'd seen him before, along with the other boy. She'd never left Goldenrod before just this morning though...

Brent was more focused on the Pokemon. There was a Dragonite in the background, along with an Ampharos. The ones present were a Marill, Monferno, and Mismagius. He assumed all of these were owned by the newly arrived trainer. "You've got quite the collection, there Devon. Even my brother would be amazed at all these."
Spirit the Lucario, Valiant Village

@Ninian @Iatos
Spirit watched as one after the next departed, soon he was left alone. Well, there was Celty, but she seemed distracted. Then that behemoth walked by, he'd been hanging around the Village for a few days now, and Spirit got a very uneasy vibe about him. He seemed to be heading in the direction of the local prison. Spirit tailed behind, pausing nearby as the massive Tyranitar began to speak to Flash.

"I don't need any help from you. Yeah, I screwed up, but I wouldn't have even guessed he had the power he does... I'll do my time, and I'll come back for him. And... if I'm gonna break out, it'll be by myself, I don't need someone like you to help me." Said Flash in response to the Tyranitar. He wasn't afraid of this bulking behemoth. Yeah, he'd heard the tales of Tyranitars destroying entire mountains in an infuriated rage, but that was next to nothing to the power he'd just witnessed.

"So, you do have some honor and decency in you, Flash. And, I'm sorry to say to your guest, you'll be going away for quite a long time. Now, I'm going to have to ask you to leave, this is a restricted area." Said Spirit, stepping behind the Tyranitar. He still bore his Lucarionite Bracelet, and had barely broken a sweat during his confrontation with Flash. He had the type advantage as well. If this guy was smart, he'd back off, he was severely outmatched in this scenario.

Lilac Meadow

It wasn't long before they reached the usually peaceful and vibrant floral meadow. Something was definitely off though, the place was covered in what appeared to be webs. Lulu rushed over to a nearby bush and grabbed a satchel from within it. "Always be prepared. Not that we don't trust some of the Pokemon in Valiant Village, but you can never be too careful." She grabbed two attack looplets from the bag, tossing one to her brother, and putting one on herself. "We've got a few for you all as well, catch!" She called as she threw a few standard looplets to her friends.

"This place wasn't categorized as a Mystery Dungeon, but it's better to be safe than sorry." Said Rico. It was true, this place was called Lilac Meadow because it had an abundance of Lilac Flowers over all others. Usually the kids from the village would play here all the time, but if something had taken root here, it might not be safe anymore. "Alright, everyone stick together. We can't get separated, or else we'll be in big trouble." Peach, Ember, and Lyla nodded, and took up position behind Rico and Lulu. These three were far less confident in battle, and could even be quite skittish at times.

The group started its trek into the tall flowers, while their silent guardian watched from afar. The sight of these webs concerned him though. He'd heard rumors of a Spider Pokemon Gang that had fled far to the north to avoid the law. But, if they believed they had found refuge here, they were dead wrong. He would make sure of that, if not Spirit if his kids got hurt. "Well, time to see what these kids are made of." He started slowly moving after them, continuing watching from afar unless his assistance was absolutely necessary.
I procrastinated so much on that post... sorry. Also, going to whip up a CS for Ember here soon.
Selena the Bayleef
[Folio Town]

@Light Lord
The Hitmontop was momentarily speechless. Not for long, though, as some Totodile he'd never seen before started calling him out. He kept his cool though. "Whatever, she always was a little too hotheaded for me. Come on boys, let's scram." The Hitmontop turned and led his posse away from the Town Center and eventually out of sight.

The Quilava, Ember, was now scanning the streets of Folio, trying to find any sign of the poor Bayleaf that had taken off. However, it was hard to try and find her when she took off like that. It was like she had memorized the whole city, knew just the route to take to avoid anyone. There was just no sign of her anywhere. This was the first time she'd actually seen him do this, but the way she reacted, it had happened before. "Ugh, why did I even think of hanging out with that guy?!" She yelled into the open sky.

It was strangely silent this day, all the commotion had drawn many down to the Town Plaza. All that could be heard was the slight whistle of a breeze blowing through. She kept trodding onwards, heading out of the established town and out towards a rather un-colonized part of the massive tree they lived in. Very few lived out here, even less dared to tread out this far into the tree. Then she caught sight of something, some footprints in the trodden leaves.

She grew cautious, she had no clue who would be out here... Then she heard, crying? Maybe that was Selena... she followed the sound to what appeared to be the charred remains of a structure. She cautiously entered, finding the Bayleaf in what would have been one of the side rooms. "Um, Selena?" The Bayleaf jumped, knocking into the wall which caused a bunch of ash that had built up on top of the remains of the roof to tumble down on them. The dust cleared, and Ember shook off the ash. "I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry..." said Selena, obviously nervous if not scared. "It's okay, really. I came to apologize about what Bruce said... he's just one of those guys who doesn't understand different backgrounds."

The Bayleaf started to calm down a little. "So, you know who I am, but I don't think I caught your name..." She said, still a little unsure about this meeting. The Quilava responded with a smile. "My name's Ember. It's okay to be nervous around new Pokemon." She looked around the charred structure. "So, what is this place?" Selena finally started to relax a bit more. "This... this was my home, a long time ago... it burned down, no one ever figured out the cause..." The Quilava felt sorry for the poor grass type, she'd endured so much but still wanted a friend so badly...

"I'm sorry, I bet it was really beautiful. I'm also sorry about the way you've been treated by many of the Pokemon my age, they shouldn't be like that, but growing up in town like that has made a lot of them, well, one-minded." She smiled and looked out towards town. Selena walked over and looked with her. "...You're the first Pokemon who's treated me like this, except for my parents, and the Guild Members. Thank you." Selena gave a small grin. Ember took another look around. "You want to head back to town? Or do you want to stay here a bit longer?" Selena looked up into the air, thinking. "A little bit longer here, I know a spot that has a better view than the town lookout near here."

Breeze the Shaymin
[Folio Town - The Blue Treeko]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher @Crimson Flame
Shaymin was getting anxious now, the crowd was beginning to build at the Town Square. She'd been sitting down for way too long, her body just wouldn't stay still one more second. "I'll be back for that meal, but whatever's going on out there... it's just too enticing." She jumped into the air, floating out to where the crowd had been steadily growing. In the center was a Meganium, along with Karaha and Devon, and a badly injured Heliolisk.

She didn't say much, but quite a few members of the crowd were talking about some Guild in town. She caught one line from someone. "Someone go find Guildmaster Glyph, tell him Robel's hurt bad this time!" She guessed the Heliolisk on the ground was Robel, but she had no clue about this Guildmaster Glyph, heck she didn't even know a town this small had any kind of Guild.

She looked back to the scene in front of her, the Meganium was using Aromatherapy on the Heliolisk. Maybe she was the town doctor... Those thoughts were dismissed when they said for someone to get the town doctor, for which Devon quickly volunteered.
