I'll be posting it tonight, I just can't get a full one up in the time I have.

The last Survivors

The convoy has been running for a few months now, Supplies are scarce, Trust worthy people are even more scarce. The only ones you can trust are the ones you can call family. Even though your family from before the war may have passed these people in the convoy represent the closest thing anyone can have nowadays.

The infected rose from the grave in just a few moments, it's hard to say how long it took for them to kill everyone but some people are still alive. You are in a traveling convoy of vehicles that as long as they keep moving the infected should not be able to get to you. But it must stop from time and time again, The convoy must stop to refuel, to gather supplies, to rest. This gets hard at times, if the convoy runs out of gas not everyone is able to fend for them selves, Kids, old, the sick. Your job as one of the healthy is to keep the convoy going until somewhere safe has been found... if one is found.

The infected are extremely contagious, A bite can turn you, blood contact can turn you, sometimes scratches, even breathing too close to there rotting flesh can make you sick. They have poor eyesight, this does not mean they can not see you, this means it is just harder. This is the same way with most their senses. But they are fast, they are determined, they are hungry. Outrunning them on foot is not an option, you must either fight, or find something to put between you and them. That gets hard though when everything has been cleared out or destroyed.

Everyone that can work has a job, Those who can't work are taken care of until they can work, or until somewhere safe can be found. Jobs include Soldiers, Drivers, Medical staff, Caretakers, Scavengers, Engineers/Mechanics, and officers. Other more specific jobs may be available. A person may have more then one job, especially if the jobs overlap in anyway.

With both him and Petra pushing on the door the corpse was pushed out of the way. Hunter shut the door soon after, he wasn't ready to run out into a fight just yet. But it was time to get ready. Hunter turned and faced Petra. "You know how to shoot a handgun? It's a lot harder then a rifle or shotgun but I don't have much else to spare." Hunter figured he could trust this person for now, plus there was only 6 bullets in the gun, and 8 in the shotgun, if the person was smart they would wait until they were back at his camp for his supplies.

"We are going to have to run pretty fast. We should be able to avoid most the infected as long as we are fast and quiet. If not only shoot if you have too, If you run and shoot you will miss and waste you bullet, you have only 6 shots and I don't have spares. SO be smart, once inside the Pharmacy we can lock the door behind us or barricade it then secure the main room. We may not find much but even something for my migraine would be nice." He went to the door to get an idea of the situation.

Hank smiled at Mithias face when they made eye contact. "...Hank?" Good to see he was remembered, This time though Hank was going to end it. "karma, you ended my life, Now I will end yours." Hank swung the machete at an angle that should have removed Mithias's head, but the blade missed, it hit nothing but air. Hank turned in time to see Mithias get carried away by something with wings, Another vampire? he didn't know, what he did know was his target was gone.

Hank threw aside the machete and drew the revolver with the silver bullets in it. he took aim on the two but before he fired he calmly pointed the weapon up. This wasn't the way to do it. he was going to see the face of the 'Thing' That turned him as he killed it.

Hank would turn around the tree as Mithias ran into his fist sending him flying back. "Leaving so soon?" Hank would reply with the gas mask on. "Shame, Things were starting to get fun." He drew his machete and leveled it. He was smiling under his mask, he didn't really need it, but it helped him remember how he use to do things. "You did something you can not undo, now it will be your undoing." He removed the gas mask revealing his pale face and fangs. "Now we finish what we started. Only this time I have the upper hand ass hole."

Hunter walked back out with a burnt baseball bat in hands, Even though it was burnt it was still in one piece. "You have two options mister, one; You leave and we can go about our days with all our limbs intact. Or two; I kick the living shit out of you and drag your broken ass out of these gates. I don't trust you, and if I don't trust you I am likely to beat your ass in." He kept holding the bat in his hand but kept his eyes locked on the man.
