Yes. The reason is I need to see how well folks write, at the very least via their character sheets, before I start accepting them. Once I've selected a cast of players, the IC will briefly be dedicated to me posting questions, then to you guys answering them in the OOC. These will be questions concerning the origins of your clan and the choices it made throughout its existence.

The chief differences between Dragon Pass and this are essentially "This is a different setting so you won't know what you'll find in the Hidden Valley." Some of it will be reminiscent of what mysteries lurk in Dragon Pass, certainly. Others... not so much.

I'm gonna make a cheap map at some point for you folks. Don't expect a work of art, but you'll get a mostly blank map. I'm gonna fill it on my end and reveal it piece by piece as time goes on (and as you adventure).

I prefer collaborations whenever possible. But like I said, I'm not posting until tomorrow.

I'll probably do my intro post as a solo post, but I'll keep your offer in mind and send PMs your way for collaboration in the future.

I'm still waiting to see if anyone else drops in. I'll probably wait for a week or so before moving to the IC. If we still don't have enough players, I'll drop another Interest Check in the advanced section because this isn't a traditional NRP.

States of Evolution

I don't think it'd be necessarily fair for me to inherit them without any struggle. I'll... Hm. I'll get back to you on this, @Frengo, but my current train of thought is one of two things:

A) Another show of force followed by forceful diplomacy,
B) Ilitscium making a weird diplomatic arrangement that creates what's almost a merge of the two nations rather than truly capitulating.

But the trouble with A is I'm pretty sure Zaqiri manpower's gonna feel a little depleted, and the trouble with B is that gives me... a bigger advantage. Hm.

Like I said, I'll get back to you by the time Turn 3 rolls around.
