Still not sure if I'll have time yet. If I do join... Well, I'm thinking about who to make.
The three races I was very much considering - halfling, dwarf, and greenskin - all seem like they'll be played by someone else, which is totally fine. So, I've been considering rolling up a dwarven ranger still (because, hey, dwarven rangers were cool even before Vermintide), an ogre (because SMASH), a mage of some kind (because yes), or maybe a banished warrior from Norsca (because Viking).
As someone who lives in the Bible Belt... The Harry Potter fear was real, but I think it's less real now. I haven't heard anyone complain about that in a long time.
...And I've actually played at D&D tables full of devout Christians sans myself as the token agnostic.
The darkness was eventually beaten back. The Dorca Rithe were driven back into the Godsrealm by a valiant band of heroes now called the Seven Swords. The eternal darkness was lifted, and generations of people who'd never known light now could see the dawn.
Supplicating the Gods
Each clan asked for their gods to return and help them rebuild. The gods answered, appearing to their most faithful of followers. Though they did not step out from the Godsrealm, they were once again able to provide magic to help the clans.
Tadigam, the... um... That GuyHis Royal Pain in the Ass?His Madnessty? Look, don't pick this guy. It's your fault if he gets picked. You know who you are. @Mardox* @Tracyarmav*
The Storm Giants
The Urlandi soon met a race of powerful beings that were even larger than the Fomorians: the Storm Giants. Hailing from the highest of mountain tops, these creatures were descendants of the Mountain King's children, yet these hundred-foot tall beings did not come to wage war. They spoke through their messengers, little people called the dwarves, who spoke highly of the Storm Giants.
What was our clan's attitude toward the Storm Giants?
Hostile - We fought them at every turn.
Negative - We would never trust the children of the Mountain King.
Neutral - We had no strong opinion on these creatures.

The best armor is to wear absolutely nothing at all. It is the mark of a true warrior to have your manly parts flapping in the wind as you lay waste to your enemies!
Also makes it easier to take a pee in the middle of a fight.
Pretty close to being finished with a collaborative post with someone. Things are shaping up nicely.
@DeltaV I'm going to have Cormac buy two spears for use in both combat and in hunting while on the trip. He doesn't have a forge, otherwise I'd have him make the spears himself.
So, in total, he's boughting...
A night of drinking with friends
A keg of mead
Two spears
Oil and lantern
Tar and pitch
Tinderbox
Rope
A sewing kit
Just let me know how much you want me to deduct from his gold total.
Some people have families that deserve to be treated as families. Others have families that are best kept at bay with stakes and alligator-filled moats.
