I don't wish to butt into what you want with your military. Realistically picking one type of tank from a nation and another fulfilling the same role from another is a bad idea. But this is a game so it's up to you.

I meant for different combat roles, actually. I.E. a heavier tank from one nation, a more agile tank from another.

Some small mech and jet speeder might be made, too.

On that note, feel free to have spies poking into the Iklwa project.

Getting alot of fantastic discussion in here!

I just want to add, dont forget about aircraft XD

I sell some pretty cool stuff :)

Yeah, aircraft is something of a weak spot for my nation. What kind of relationship do you see between our nations?
Personally I'd love if there'd be an IC competition between me and Franco-Iberia's design to see which is the better.
A competitive test of sorts.

That might be a good bit of roleplay. Malagasy Enterprises would be watching intently.

Perhaps, for the time being, Malagasy Enterprises purchases its planes from Franco-Iberia and its tanks from Hungary? Or certain mainline tanks from one, and certain mainline tanks from the other.
@Willy Vereb Works for me. Both designs look fine, and I imagine Malagasy is content to trade for those vehicles. They'll probably take at least as many vehicles from Franco-Iberia, and exports from both nations will make up the majority of tanks used by the Peacekeepers. Malagasy will equip its Chevaliers with its own designs.
@Brink_ Fair enough, that.

@Taeryn Since you're playing a socialist republic and I'm playing a literal corporate empire, should we just safely assume that idealogical differences probably lead to lots of enmity between our nations?

@Sigma Maybe? The East Africa Trade Group could have been involved in some genetic experiments in the U.S. as well if you want, or have exchanged samples with the U.S. Grogar and Ogres COULD be related, which could explain why there are "wild ogres" which are 100% dangerous and people-murdering.

EDIT 2: I may borrow Nwabudike Morgan's picture from Alpha Centauri. I love the character's lines.

@Shorticus

I imagine Franco-Iberia having considerable influence, and close ties, with Malagasy Ent., in Madagascar especially, as it would make sense for our historically bound nations to each house our fair share of expatriates, especially considering what I suspect to be sizable Malagasy diaspora due to relative proximity combined with those aforementioned strong bonds, in addition to you being a major agricultural purveyor in these war-torn times and I possessing much of the Eastern hemisphere's mechanical and electrical machinery production.

I was thinking along similar lines. They have cultural ties for sure, and similar societies in... some ways, at least more ways than other nations.

I also figured that Franco-Iberia would potentially be one of those nations to hire Malagasy terraformers? They're trying to stop the desertification of the Sahara, so I imagine that terraforming tech is exactly what they'd want at their disposal.

Either way, there's definitely a trade relationship. I don't know if there'd be an outright alliance since Franco-Iberia could lose some face politically if they were aligned with a state that favors gene modification of its soldiery and workforce. They could, perhaps, have a defensive pact? But trade would probably be thriving between these two nations.

@ShorticusOur relationship is likley extremely rocky if not outright cold. Your gene manipulation would be seen as as a societal and religious affront, and you represent an uncertain quantity in Asia as compared to the more ideologically compatible Great Han. The rebels just add another point of conflict.

Sounds perfect! Let's roll with this.
Actually we pretty much tolerate mutants, it just happens that even if there are laws protecting them things are not so easy. Imagine blacks in the early 1990s, for example. Actually given the Holy League's deep Christian roots and conservatism it's kinda amazing how they managed to accept mutants.
On the other hand you'd likely won't make many friends with your openness to gene manipulation. That's a seriously big can of worms.

But yeah, trade relationship is entirely possible. I happen to have a bit of presence in Africa so perhaps that could be our point of contact.

Yeah, Malagasy Enterprises is going to make a lot of enemies with their gene manipulation for sure. But then they're a huge agricultural supplier that is mostly concerned with the expansion of trade, and they're pretty far off... They're probably seen as a "tolerable evil" when it comes to getting their goods.

Yeah, so let's have a strong trade going on, but let's say that the BEST equipment Hungary isn't shipping to Malagasy Enterprises, at least not yet. Malagasy Enterprises isn't a friend; just a business partner.

@Shorticus Excellent :) Looks like the Separatists have a supplier. A good way for Madagascar to have influence in North America, a Client State(or potential colonial territory ).

At the least, they hope to get a new trade partner and an ally they can use to push their interests in North America.

@Isotope What sort of relationship do you see between Malagasy Enterprises and Cascadia, especially given that Malagasy Enterprises is supporting a group of Badlands rebels that ARE NOT pro-Cascadia?
@Shorticus The Legion are a Grogar Cult centered around the Worship of the AI controlling the massive facility from which they were born from. Unlike many grogar clans, the Legion remained true to the AI and do its bidding. Both plan to purge North America of those that would refuse to bow to the Mad AI.

As for the Separatists and Militia(may merge them into a single group), I haven't develop much of them yet, but one idea of them is they are a nationalist Faction who seek to create their own state.

I'll say, then, that the rebels and separatists may be receiving some support in the form of food supplies and weapons from Corporate Madagascar, mostly because they're the only group Corporate Madagascar can reasonably support without having to march through Grogar infested territory.
Granted. Daylight no longer exists.

I wish I had a sweet hat.
When you make some top quality AAA original content with Space Raptors, but everyone just laughs at you :'(

...

Space raptors are amazing. Screw anyone that says otherwise.

No, seriously. I... I love raptors.

EDIT: I actually want to make a roleplay in which players play dinosaurs duking it out in a magical, primeval world one day.
Expect a completely less-big faction summary tomorrow morning. Also, if there's an IC post made tomorrow, I'll get started on my own.
