Agent Takeda’s performance following her promotion to supervisory special agent can be summarized in two words: ruthless efficiency. As one of the primary advocates for her initial recruitment so many years ago, I could not be more proud of her. A sample mission report (record ref. 6391673226-5441) has been attached. Her mission execution is swift and decisive, although sometimes bloodier than necessary. Despite any concerns over the loss of potential interrogation subjects, the swift efficiency with which her assigned strike operations are carried out speaks for itself.

Her promotion has greatly reduced the amount of time spent operating by herself. Previous psych evals suggest that this time spent alone is valuable to Agent Takeda. Thus it is my recommendation going forward that she be trusted with the total oversight & management of a level 3 case. As her supervising agent, I fully endorse this recommendation.

Jian is a secretive company that, as far as anyone curious is concerned, doesn’t really exist. Jian is one of those companies that is deliberately buried to give its personnel the freedom to accomplish their tasks however they see fit. What are their tasks? Whatever assignment comes down from the corporate overlords. Jian operates above the average corporate security outfit with a higher level of discretion. Where O-Sec is trusted with defense, Jian is one of the divisions that goes on the attack.

Panopticon Securities L.L.C.

Panopticon Securities is the parent company to Jian ... if that is you’re willing to go through a paper trail longer than the proof that all humans are related. Panopticon is the child corporation of Osi-Corp much in the same way. The evidence exists, but bureaucratic tedium is a far stronger defense than obfuscation. Panopticon is officially in the financial sector, managing funds. However, they own a multitude of companies to facilitate a strong, yet clandestine, presence in the defense, intelligence, surveillance, and covert operations sectors. This makes them one of Osi-Corp’s top security subsidiaries.

Kyoto District

To call it a district is an improper use of the word realistically, as the technical area encompassed is larger than many 21st century cities in their entirety. The region is characterized by a blend of east Asian cultures from Earth, melded together in some areas and fiercely segregated in others to “preserve purity.” Kyoto is essentially Arcadia’s version of chinatown, with a multitude of languages being spoken including japanese, chinese, korean, vietnamese, thai, and even nepali. Many areas in the district also embrace an amalgamation sometimes referred to as “Kyoto creole”: a blend of whatever languages are common in that particular block.

This is primarily an RP of secrets, lies, trust, and betrayal. The supernatural elements are mostly a flavor sprinkling. (I've done this RP with that at the forefront and power creep is inevitably an issue.) With that in mind, here's a preliminary taste at a revival of one of my old favorites the Guild never knew.
