Well this star system is rather different then ours. For one, the star system is pretty much an empty void, except for the Sun, the Gas Giant, its assorted moons and an asteroid belt.
For the Gas Giant, it has about twelve moons and two sets of orbiting Asteroid Rings, the moons and Twin Gardens are right between said rings. The other ten moons vary in environment, ice, volcanic, and barren.

A Right
Human life, the process of millions of years of successive and random mutations giving rise to modern man, a marvel of natural selection. This process occurred as it always did, but this time it didn't happen on Earth. Another place, another time, serendipity would have it that a system perfect for life in every way came into being. The vast jewel of Jalaryias' crowing rings of barren worlds, and two gardens besides. On one of these worlds, a world called Terra, not only man came about, but others too rose from the primordial depths to the heights of intelligence.
On the sister garden of Aldzerri, so too did life rise to those heights, two worlds with many thinking beings in a place where the future held limitless potential. Time passed, the children of these worlds squabbled, not all survived. Yet now another chapter has come about, the dream of traversing the worlds has come true. Moons and asteroids are ripe for harvest and now the species of those two once separate worlds will come to terms as they race towards it, the endless bounty of space.
Explanation
This RP takes place in an alternate world where Humans arose in a system dominated by the large gas giant of Jalaryia and in tandem with several other species. The backstory of this RP is intended to be created by the players as they write the history of their nations and species, how did they fight? Why? The stage is set for any number of situations, and only you can decide what may come about!
Regarding Aliens
Since the scale of the rp is quite small compared to others, we will of course have a limited number of alien species, five to be exact. Two for Terra(since of course we got humans there), and Three for Aldzerri, and since we have a limited number, I would have you make only one species, wouldn't be fair if one player made half the species roster. Once all five species are made, there can be no more. Exceptions of course there being sub-species and perhaps artificial servitor races.

Then do I need to change the nature of my race? They are very nationalistic people. Also, I do feel I need the and size. Granted they are more like 6 woven-together nations, but my body count is still very high. I think wether or not population includes sentient needs to be clear, as such I find we are speaking on different terms.Hmm, I think changing them up to fit the setting is a necessity. And as well as to not scare away new players.
Oh. I thought there was only 3 species on Terra... Also, if you think of our population, I had assumed I would at least take up 1/3 plus however many extra is warranted by the race's nature.Oh there is, but dispersed all over Terra, and vis versa for Aldzerri. Your people would also be citizens other nations due to centuries of immigration.
May I suggest some around to a billion total pop or something in the hundreds of millions, if the numbers must be high. High enough to be big, but not crazy huge.
And here's my suggested land borders for your nation.
Big enough to warrant superpower status, and but not so huge that it eats up most of the continent.
9 billion? That's way too much, sorry. A few million living in several large space habitats would be more reasonable for a superpower. I would prefer the numbers be more realistic. For example, the total population for Terra would be at least eight billion and the population for Aldzerri is seven billion.

First off, I am the first NS. I did not see any power guidelines. I assumed other nations would be of similar power.Ah, sorry about that. It won't necessarily be the case. There will be superpowers, minor, regional powers and such.
