I'm happy with what I have though. It's all about what this RP needs the Empire to be, more than anything.

Although the Empire is smaller then I would expect, would've thought they'd have a few more sectors, although an Empire on its way of conquering said sectors slowly is also a pretty cool set up.

So many choices :) I'll need to think on it, but it looks like I'll be a Successor State.
Hmm, not too sure. Was thinking of something like a small regional power. Although I could go Empire if no one else takes it.

It's far from impossible that a Terran nation, especially after 175 years can have spaceships, but I can't imagine there being that many due to having to make use of quite a bit of industry and develop the infrastructural demands.
Overall the idea is the asymmetry Terran societies have in contrast to the off-world societies that have developed. Mainly since even with severe population depletion on Earth in the 22nd century and population increases in factions around the solar system, Earth still comprises most of mankind.
In short yes, but I advise to avoid trying to make fleets of dozens of ships from earth.
No worries, was thinking on having one big ship and a small fleet of shuttles.
Oh, got a question. Do Earth nations, or at least a few, get to have some spaceships?
