In my opinion, I'd suggest we go the inbetween route of having the choice of making more humanoid aliens, or the more exotic sort.

Have made some slight updates to my Nation Sheet.
The Covenant is actually an alliance of nations. So far it's membership includes the Vatani Ascendancy, the Transorganic Alliance Party, and a yet to be revealed puppet Government.
We'll have to see what Flagg says regarding the past.
Theo, we actually have discussed the Graal's integration in the setting as members of the Covenant(the bad guys), kinda like the cannon fodder.
Sounds cool, speak with the GM(flagg), when you can.
