Summery: The Crowned Republic functions differently then most democratic nations, in that while they elect their leaders, rather then a lone person, the entirety of a Noble House is chosen to be the Ruling House of the Republic, the current Matriarch/Patriarch of the Elected House is then chosen to become the new Head Sovereign of the State. The rest of the Major and Lesser Houses then form the Royal Assembly, whom both act as the Advisers of the Ruling King/Queen, and help govern and enact laws of the Republic.

Summery: Since the revolution, Velldon at the moment heavily rely on the outside world for imports to survive, and seek every opportunity to bring businesses to their land, to flourish. As such, Velldon operates under a Free Market, seeing as any hindrance to their economic progress could mean the end of their young Republic.

- Readiness: Nearly a year had passed since the Revolution, the Newly established Velldonian Military is currently on high alert as they fear their former Masters, the Church of the Machine, will one day return.

History:
The region known as Velldon was once a land divided among dozens of small Kingdoms and City-States, one fought over for centuries by the ruling Noble Houses which commanded these states, that is, however, till the Church of the Machine arrived one hundred years ago. Launching a brutal and swift crusade into Velldon, easily conquering the divided nations, who after many decades of warfare, had been left in weary and weaken states. Some reluctantly surrendered to the approaching armies, while many others some stood ever defiant, and fought to the death.

The early years were the hardest for the Velldon people, the Noble Houses that survived the Crusade went into hiding, seen as subversive by the Church's Upper Echelons. And the people were left leaderless for a moment, forced to renounce their previous beliefs and faiths if they sought a better life under the rule of the Machine Church. However, many still resisted their lordship over the lands, fighting for their rights.

For a Hundred years, Velldon was seen as troublesome, constantly struggling their iron grip. However, as the Machine War sparked, the rebellion renewed their efforts as more and more of the Church's soldiers were sent off to war. The Noble Houses, once thought abandoned by their people, had came out of hiding as confidence grew among the populace. And took charge of the inevitable Uprising to was to take place.

By the war's end, the Nobles gave the order, and all across Velldon, mass uprisings and riots took place. In the chaos, the rebels had received aid from an unexpected ally in the form of the Solaran Administration, who sought the opportunity to strike a decisive blow against their enemy, and supplied the rebels with the much needed equipment to take back their homeland. As the weaken garrisons were overwhelmed by the furious velldons. Swiftly, they retook their homeland from the Machine Church, feeling that Velldon was no longer worth the lives of their men, they fell back en mass, leaving the people to their own devices.

For all their differences, they no longer cared. No longer were they loyal to multiple states, but one. The Velldon People were united for the first time in hundreds of years, and they intended it to stay that way. The Noble Houses came together, and agreed upon the establishment of the Crowned Republic.
- International Relations:
Greater Republic of Arcis: Both Arcis and Velldon remain weary of one another, Acris fearing Velldon's rise as a nation due to it's past with the Church, and Velldon, worrying of the increasingly militarized border the Arcisans are setting up.

Solaran Administration: Military Alliance. While the Crowned Republic is as well weary of the Solarans the same as the Arcisans, they however are in no position to stand alone, and for now, accept their aide, even allowing Solaran troops to operate within their borders.
