Speculation and rumour has clouded Jer's bachelor status over the years, colouring his availability in mutinous shades of grey from lack of confirmation of whether or not he's actively pursing a fellow musician, such being none other than the Piper Melandrie Deveraux, a well famed violinist. Aside from their accompanying concerts and performances across the states in various galas, and even recordings, there is little else to testify to their mutual affections; but figures of a held hand here, an arm draped over the shoulders, and a press of a kiss to a cheek have amplified their duet into being "covertly shagging."

[ โ ] I N D E P T H A P P E A R A N C EThe debut of the D'Cahor heir is defamed as being of the nontraditional masculinity sort, his appearance borders androgynous frailty, a feminine sort of glean that resisters in the sharp planes of his frame; all composed of lanky limbs, wiry muscle, and a sort of balletic grace reserved of a man in his profession. Contrary to his occupation and fame, Jer is donned with sporadic ink and pierced lobes with an identical hoop pierced through his nostril, this, compounded by the erratic dishevelment of his hair - flaxen strands of wheat and waterlogged blonde that peak at the ridge of his jaw - Jer is the least bit visually confirmed as a classical prodigy. Adhering his slender physique, Jer caps out at just a bit of six feet, befitting to his stature enough to be considered appealing. His impression is betrayed as a slight man swathed in every shade of black and grey imaginable, his initial introductions appear stoic, reserved, and perhaps aloof, but the glimmer of mischief ignites far into eyes of tumultuous blue, only clouded by the immersion of work and music when his muse captures his heart in a vice.
The D'Cahors pride themselves not only on musical capability, but also appearances, and whilst Jer is a walking pallet of monochromatic, the finery of his threads are cues to their abundant wealth. Casually done-up is a common term issued, expense hardly wasted on their wardrobes. Staying true to his preference of self-representation though, Jer will stand casually swathed in a fleece pullover and ebony trousers, all made from ridiculously priced sources of course, but the consistency never wavers unless performing publicly.
[ โ ] H A B I T S, Q U I R K S, O D D I T I E SJer will, more often than not, drum his fingers in a rhythm, mimicking the pings and keys of a piano, constantly burdened by the music that canters and plays through his mind at a constant. He does much the same with mimicking the pull and play of his Cello, even going as far to posture himself as if straddling around the instrument and humming the tunes to accompany his miming. This is sometimes done violently, pending to his state of mind and well famed style of manic performing, despite all reservations of the music industry he dominates.
He possess a quirk of twirling his piercings with his forefinger and thumb, be it the hoop in his nose, or those picked to his ears, either one will suffice when anxiety and nervous qualms over take his stagnant thoughts. With his slight fidgeting, Jer possess the long bourne penchant of biting on pen caps.
On the low-key side of observation, Jer is a routine smoker, much to the displeasure of his partner.
[ โ ] H O B B I E SWriting music, usually vast amounts of sheets and scores, Jer has taken up the hobby of writing his own compared to covering older, much more respected performers long before his age. This hobby sometimes spans to lyrics and fantasy operas and entire scores that encompass an orchestra, but none ever seem to make appearances outside his abundant amount of binders containing them. Commonly he translates popular pop culture songs into various versions befitting his primary instruments.
Considered to go in hand with his primary hobby, the pianist is an avid reader, usually burying his concentration in sheet music and compositions by fellow musicians. The fact that he sometimes shreds these into mere confetti is often bypassed as another source of anxiety, but is best left to its own and not to be questioned.
He wouldn't say it aloud, and he'd do his best to avoid public rumour and speculation, but Jer has the notion to venture into various forms of music, desiring to master all instruments and eventually practice his vocals to give some of his jotted down lyrics a meaning to their bland scrawl. But, if he is to perform like a wraith under the influences of his own emotions, then he just must do so perfectly - anything short is insultingly unacceptable. His disorders are sometimes told as insufferable, mostly muttered by those who perform with him or those that he will accompany, and none but Piper have been able to endure Jer's technique.

[ โ ] H I S T O R YFrom the beginning, Jer's fate was a tapestry woven ahead of his conception, his mere thought and pondering birth laid out in a rigid intention without any room for individuality. Hardly anything else was to be expected from such figures, both Cordelia and Raymond still adorned in the lamplight of fame, fortune, and mutterings of their well determined match. It was with little ceremony that the violinist from the Blanchard household would find hand in the D'Cahors; it was a match made under romanticized companionship, the composer, the accompanist, the duet that would later spear head into affairs and matches. To say it was intentional, to see the two paired in every concert, gala and company hall would be quietly disputed - romance happened in all shades to musicians. Jer was bourne to play the piano, he was sat down at a small age, carefully constructed and conformed to perform even when he could barely reach the keys with his babe hands. The world received the D'Cahors heir with almost bestial fanfare, speculation to his would-be fame already being printed, he was meant for grandiose promises and little else would be given to and taken from him. Such was the predetermined destiny of every D'Cahors.
Life and fame often called away his parents, but Jer understood this necessity under a very young age and was well endured under the act of smiling, laughing and performing to the masses that he was nothing else but a wonderfully loved boy, doted on daily. Homeschooled, raised by nannies and under the music of the piano, he was performing and perfectly executing Chopin at the age of eight and by eleven he was performing in the same concert halls as his parents - a prodigy, a genius, all done under long hours, endless nights, and legacy burdened to him. Flourishment was found within him in spades, sort of a naturalist impression until the manic routines began, his music and playing took on a harder edge, a bruising sort of quality that alarmed most if not all who had become docile under his younger musings. Some were even offended, finding little respect in Jer's sudden rebellion to the score - Cordelia and Raymond thought this is a performance of revenge against his upbringing. But, the truth had little to do with vengeance, Jer was just simply finding his niche, his forte, his call to the piano he loved so dearly that had been there in the place of his family from the beginning of his tutelage. Whilst considered blasphemous, Jer's tactics and techniques continued to swell, sometimes the music would brood, sometimes it would sire anger, and sometimes it was so raw and powerful, it left halls mute and awe struck. Such was Jer D'Cahors' effect on the world.
But, hidden was the sweltering anxiety within himself, something that burned and could only be tamed by the routines of summer spent at the beach, to release and uncoil, to allow himself a moment of reprieve from the pressure of his daily life. Though it was fleeting, Jer found relief and peace in those days, even if the following Fall saw him to records, concerts, and albums and eventually into Piper Deveraux when he turned fifteen. Their first duet sealed their contracts, finding them both performing together often, if not almost religiously until their soloist performances. Since then, Jer has been rumoured to be on the downward spiral, almost purely destructive with a smile torn across his face the entire time.

* Due to a brief few months of deafness (onset by a severe case of influenza), when put in a stressful situation, Yuri reverts to ASL to speak and refuses to put voice to words.
* Can't seem to stare people in the eyes - a possible case of the usual parental problems, i.e. daddy issues.
* Rather impersonal and very dismissive, especially concerning anything he does wrong. Shuts down easily, as if disregarding the matter entirely fixes it. A case of "ignore the problem and it goes away." When this doesn't work, he tends to turn on himself before anyone else has the chance to. Make a joke out of yourself and you don't become one.
* Worried he had epilepsy as Mr. Tchaikovsky tends to space out often and with little warning. However, looking closer, it's very easy to tell when something disinterests Mr. Tchaikovsky as he tends to slowly let his eyes flit away from where his attention should be until he can safely crawl back into his own mind.
* When given a pen and paper, Mr. Tchaikovsky scribbles inbetween his words; the margins of his journal are filled with countless scratches and he goes through pens alarmingly fast.
* Fixates on one aspect of a person, not in order to remember them (he has quite an average memory), but rather because he tends to pay closer attention to the smaller things, rather than the big picture. Has slipped and called me "Polka Dot Bow Tie" on numerous occasions and, "Lisp" for my receptionist - not out of spite, I've noticed.
[โฃ] Hobbies* Of the numerous things Yuri does, most of them are for work, in one form or another. However, he does gravitate toward writing smaller projects, such as poems and short stories. The latter, of course, often ventures into fan fiction, something he tells no one... ever. He's a secret nerd.
* Being a writer, in general, means countless reading and most, if not all, of it is devoted to research. Accuracy when writing is a great skill to have. However, as a hobby, Yuri tends to read whatever he can get his hands on. He's a particular fan of older works, like Jane Eyre, and fantasy, like C.S. Lewis.

Undoubtedly, many people see Yuri as a constant, a wave of force to back up the intimidating tilt of his shoulders and the confidence in the jut of his chin. Yuri, to a person withheld the grace of his actual company, personifies the stereotypical terror settled in a mountain of a man of Russian decent โ someone who drips vodka and Soviet Union from iron pressed suits. Beyond the cold aura, Yuri comprises of a man lacking any self-worth with no idea of how to fix what's always been broken. For Yuri, challenges come in not being swayed by his emotions, rather than feeling them, at all. Many, many times, Yuri prefers to ignore his problems and his emotions tend to comprise of 90% of those problems and the 10% being people, in general. Ignorance, however, forces Yuri to always look in on himself in a light he's not too fond of. Most of Yuri's anger can be focused on that sole point, allowing him to overcome petty frustrations caused by other people. What he does for other people stems from both his need to please his family and a need lack of worth for himself. However, that does nothing to lessen the impact and sincerity of his actions. [โฃ] HistoryThe Tchaikovsky family's legacy starts with Afon Tchaikovsky becoming a new man, moving to America with his wife in tow and a baby coming sooner than planned. Both he and his wife had already paved the way to fame and fortune through calloused hands, sweat, and blood, but no tears. They started from scratch in Saint Petersburg and made something of themselves within Russia's dearth scene. America seemed the next step and with Afon soaring in on an already influential stream of work and dedication, along with his Wife's various gigs both within Russia and outside of it, allowed them to land a spot that gave them the acclaim they needed. Now it was just raw talent and connections allowing Afon to pick a spot ahead of the game.
A son (and a possible heir, to Afon, at least) came with the move, and the quiet year allowed the two to raise Yuri well enough to pass him on to a nanny when the move from Reno to Los Angeles came quicker than expected. However, where his father saw a boy to take over his legacy, his wife saw otherwise and did her best to nurture and raise Yuri to be as good a man as she could make him. That quickly became a task once his father began toting around his personal assistant, conditioning young Yuri to be a spitting image of his father. That didn't work out as well as the man thought and before he knew it, he'd lost his hold on the young boy. Aspirations and ideas found themselves inside Yuri's head and with the idea that he needed to please his father, Yuri took to them with a determination far beyond an adolescent. The disappointment facing him turned that idea on its head.
To curb this enthusiasm for things Afon deemed trivial, he took Yuri to his closest friends, a tight knit circle of parents with kids of their own. He'd hoped the influence would turn Yuri around, show him the wonders of what his father offered him and the talent that he could nurture and develop. For a moment, it did. It allowed Afon to plant that crippling idea that he needed to live up to what his father expected of him, no matter the cost. From there on, it was nothing but disappointment and that destroyed Yuri. It pushed him further into the shell he hadn't known surrounded him and forced him to build barriers against a world he felt worked against him.
That notion propelled him through high school and college with hard set goals in mind and a lack of friends who he considered tried and true, like those he'd see come summer. Further on, he experienced nothing but crippling failure from his father and a flop he always thought he'd been responsible for. And a divorce that sprouted from it. If he felt responsible for the failure of a movie, he felt even more so about this. However, his mother reassured him and pushed him in a direction she thought fit him best - just a suggestion and nothing more, but he took to it like a mission. Because, if there was anything he didn't want to do it was disappointing another parent. That also meant showing up to his regularly scheduled appointments with his assigned therapist.
Who he is and what he wants to become seem to be the core of Yuri's problems. Moving on from one parent's idea of him to the other doesn't seem to be the best choice, something his therapist tells him to always keep in mind. Always asks, "What do you want, Yuri? What do you want?" and he can never quite wrap his mind around an answer. Or, at least, something he deems sufficient enough to be considered an answer.

She was as the oldest of two twins in her mothers private residence with no complications. Her early
childhood was fairly normal for a kid like her. She had everything she wanted, loving parents, private
tutors in the eveings, and a nanny among other things. Life was perfect for her until after her younger
sister Alice was born. Life was starting to get bland. She had too many things, her tutors classes didn't
interest her, and didn't really have many friends in school. She started to become a โproblem child.โ
She got into fights with other kids, some of her grades started slipping, sneaking out, and was just
generally causing problems. That caused many problems at home and fights with her father. It was
around this time that she began getting close with her nanny and one of the live in bodyguards.
Her nanny took it upon herself to get close with her so in hopes that she would calm down having
another person other than her mother and father and it helped she did calm down some and though she
still got into fights though much less often. They eventually grew so close that she was like a second
mother to her. Around the same time she also found one of the bodyguards training in the yard one day
while he was training. She was fascinated by the moves he was doing and watched for several days
before approaching and asking him what he was doing and if he could teach her. He was extremely
hesitant at first but after several times asking from her and an okay from her mom he agreed. She was
and eager student and quick learner. As the years went on things got more and more stressful as her
issues with her father got worse. Other things happened as well such as her nanny dying in an accident.
Most of her friends moving and a handful of other smaller things. It all culminated in one two year span
of issues.
The first and foremost is that when she hit high school she immediately fell into the wrong crowd and
falling into doing drugs. By this point the bodyguard had stopped teaching her as he had nothing else
left to teach. Over two years things spiraled down into a confrontation with her father about it when she
was sixteen. He'd caught her while she was high in one of the hallways in their house in front of a large
china shelf. They got into a huge argument that ended when she tried to throw a punch. Her dad easily
caught it due to her condition and she tried to pull herself free. When he finally let her go she had just
tried to pull away, wasn't expecting it, and stumbled back into the shelf bringing it down on them.
Neither was injured and she dropped her habits nest day.
Many good things came of these events however. She was able to meet her nannies daughter and the
two very quickly became friends and recently girlfriends though they are currently having issues. She
was also given an opportunity and she was seen by an MMA coach after a fight with a couple guys
allowing her the chance to fight in a controlled environment rather than on the street. Her mom also got
her a couple small roles in acting.
Also her times at the Summer house where always the bright points of the year though her two most
difficult years she didn't go as her family felt it was for the best.
