The phantom sensation of blushing crept up to her cheeks, her dead heart seemed to rush inside her chest. She was sitting so close to Helena, she could even perceive her subtle fine scent. All these thoughts were only driving her the more nervous, yet she had to have a hold on herself if he pretended not to scare the woman away. She had only felt this... vulnerable once before, at that was a long, long time ago. She felt ridiculous for acting like these, but she couldn't help herself all together. Deena tried her best to keep her eyes and attention elsewhere, watching instead the changing view by their side as they passed by through the village and towards the castle.
The question made her look back to Helena, meeting her enthralling eyes once again. "Well...", she began, offering her a soft smile. "Since I was a child, I used to see the beauty everywhere, in every little thing. And I liked the idea of everyone else noticing this beauty, too. I remember I used to style the dolls my mother gave me.", she chuckled with a gentle shrug of her shoulders. "Later on, growing up, I... met someone. She was a stylist, too, and became a good friend of mine. She tought me the basics, and introduced me to the world of makeup and 'beauty'.", Deena told her, and let out a quiet sight as her eyes wandered around the scenery. "I went on on my own ever since then, discovering my own 'style' and learning new technics and things to better satisfy the people's needs. So, I started my own little 'business', once I was independent." She said, drawing a smile back on her face.

It seemed incredible to her that she was being given the chance to visit the Royal Castle and not for work, specifically, but in a more friendly manner, she hoped. It wasn't something than happened to any vampire all of the time, and she really liked Helena (probably in more than one way) so she just couldn't refuse such invitation. "Well, that is totally fine to me, yes.", Deena nodded, not removing the smile on her face for a second. "Oh, and thank you.", she added as she was offered a ride as well. She hadn't thought about how she would have got to the castle, in fact, and now she did she realized it would have been hard to pick up the pace since she used to walk her way around the village.
Deena took Helena's hand, fighting back hesitation in order not to give a wrong message to the other through her own nervousness. She was just eager, really. She wouldn't allow herself to have some pessimistic thoughts right then, about how probably Helena's family wouldn't approve least like her, or would she be an inconvenient guest to the castle, or anything of that nature, not when she had a potential friendship with the beautiful vampire ahead.
@The1Rolling1Boy Geez! I'm sorry. I always forget which are the replies I have pending the little time I am able to be on.
I'll be on it! You could timeskip if you like, though.

Inevitably, Ireth's legs gave in as she tripped and tumbled on the ground on her escaping attempit. At least she could say she had run far enough from the wagon to be out of that orc's reach... for now. She turned quickly on her back and got up, panting for air and looking around the rather gruesome scene before her. It was all chaos! Children and women all cried in terror, and ran around trying to escape those monster's wrath, while men and dwarves and warrios did their best to fight them out. A woman stood beside her, screaming and crying her lungs out as she watched her poor son being ripped from her arms and taken away by the orcs. Ireth couldn't stand that much, she just couldn't.

So, there she was again, gathering up whatever courage she had left within and tightened her grip around her humble elven dagger. It might have been her only real weapon, and definitely not big nor powerful enough to stop any of those fierce orcs, but she could try. She couldn't just stand there and watch all of this happen to those innocent folks. Oblivious of anything else surrounding her, the brunette found herself running towards said orc, as the infant whimpered and squirmed under its grip. Wielding the sharp fine dagger in hand, Ireth aimed for the orc's hand, stabbing him just above the thick wrist and using all the strength in her to tear the flesh only a bit before hardly pulling out the blade. Of course she knew that would do little to truly hurt the infamous creature, but at least she hoped that would do to distract it so that the kid could escape. As soon was the boy was freed, she told him to run while she would try to entertain the orc. It had been the most daring she had ever been in her life, probably, and the end of it would that be as well.

If the orc had failed to hit her, Ireth wasn't that lucky the second time. Wincing and issuing a cry of pain, the girl was once again hitting the ground, desperately crawling away from the orc that was about to blow its huge knife at her again. There was a bleeding cut across her left thigh, deep enough to slow her down. If she was to die then, she considered innerly, at least she wouldn't go as an utter coward now; had she succeeded defending that woman and her child, that she hoped at the very least, even if she didn't make it out.

Once she heard the other's possitive reply, she nodded her head as well. As soon as the noble vampire had left to wait for her, Deena hurried to finish picking up her belonging, which wasn't a big task really, for she hadn't come with much in hand that night. So, after putting the guitar back on its case and maybe straightening her clothes just a bit, making sure she didn't look untidy or raggedy or anything of that nature. For once did she worry about the impression she gave the other.
Once done with that, she walked out of the backstage area, thanking at the guard there and biding him goodbye with a kind smile on her face, before she was already heading towards the exit. She wouldn't admit it out loud, probably, but she felt kind of nervous; surely she was excited about getting to know that nice and attractive vampire, but also she was quite conscious of her position here as well as Helena's. So, whether the other did like her or not, that she would have to find out.
She spotted the brunette by her horse, so she approached her with a smile, a tad shyly. "Hey, it's all done. We could leave whenever you prefer.", she said.

{ Derrick and Kellan }

The two boys were wandering about the castle, heading downstair towards the dinning room, hopefully, as they chattered and teased each other like kids. That's when, at the end of one of the corridors, the dark haired noble vampire spotter his younger sister passing by. Of course, rumours had been whispered around the castle, running faster than they probably should, so he wasn't completely oblivious by that time about what Alice might have been doing earlier that morning. With a mischievous smirk, he ignored whatever Kellan was talking about at the moment and headed off towards her.
"Good evening, dear sister o' mine!", he greeted, with amused cheerfulness.
Rolling his light blue eyes, Kellan went after his best friend and bowed his head gently at the girl. "Hello, miss.", he said in his soft kind voice. He knew better that Derrick would only approach his siblings whenever he was up to something like messing up with them or asking for a favor. He doubted it would be the second in this case.

@LadyRunic Thank you! I'm replying in a bit.
@AlicePleasanceLiddell Hope it went all right!

@Arya10108909 Maybe you could work the sheet out and then it'd be approved. I doubt they'd have anything against you playing the 10th child, anyways. :)

The other's suggestion was quite appealing, in fact, so much that Deena found it difficult to refuse. And not like she wanted to, anyways. At least, she was glad to see she hadn't freaked Helena out or something by how eager she might seem about the whole idea.
"Oh, that would be lovely. I was actually thinking about giving it a night and go home, I'm free for the night, so I wouldn't mind it if you would like me to assist you now.", She replied, smiling. Of course, that might be all about her job or something, but she couldn't help but feel excited about spending any more time with the noble vampire. She did find her interesting, after all. "I hope you wouldn't mind me gathering all my stuff first."
Geez! I'm sorry I haven't been on, guys. I'm replying in a bit.
