I'm a bit confused about something.

"If you plan on making an Anchor character, I want to see the rest of the form before I give the name or goal."

Wouldn't the person making the character come up with those things?

To be more accurate. Most of the staff basically abandoned the project as soon as it started. The players were more or less left to fend for themselves when it came to everything In Character, no central plotline they could join, no secondary plotlines they could have fun with. A couple people started their own but in general people lost interest and dropped out.

It wasn't dead but it also wasn't the massive success that people had been hoping for. After a while some of the more active players still around formed a new staff team and got to work rebuilding it. Around this time a couple people got annoyed at seeing the Expanding Horizon's sub-forum still at the top of the main page and made a topic to complain about it. Eventually the site staff got called in it was decided that Mahz would "move" it to Casual as a single topic.

The new staff team for the game decided to wait for Mahz to move it before continuing anything, so things kind of went into hibernation for a bit. However as you can tell that move has yet to take place and it has been months since the decision was made. At this point it's less hibernation and more just dead.

"They have a men's section." The otter faunus said with a hook of her thumb in the far corner. "But yeah, this about all I wanted from here. Still want to hit up a sportswear shop at some point though."

Beryl shrugged. "The worst that'll happen is that they ask me to put it back." She said as she perused the selection on the rack. A tight fitting tank top and much too large T-shirt also went on the To-Buy pile before she pushed the rack back to its previous position. She eyed Silver as she did so. "You going to get anything?"

With a twitch of her hips the tail arched around one end of a nearby rolling rack of clothes. The oversized otter tail curled and pulled the heavily laden metal framework towards her. Granted shows of strength lost some of their flashiness when the showwoman could increase their abilities with aura, but the young huntress hadn't been utilizing any right then. It would have defeated the point.

"I've gotten very good at sewing over the years. Mending torn clothing was a skill i mastered by the time I was eight. Didn't get new ones very often."

"It's a bit like having a third leg." Beryl said as she set the refolded shorts onto a nearby shelf. The shirt followed in a what was now a 'To-Buy' pile. "Great for balance and adds an extra point of contact I can use to keep me stable. Plus it packs a wallop." She added with a grin. "Though I admit it comes with some problems. Clothes tend to need adjustments unless it's specialized Faunus stuff. I kind of forgot about that today."

The grin turned slightly embarrassed again. In reality she had been so happy about getting to go out somewhere with her team that a few of the practicalities of the outing had slipped her mind. They had gone out before of course, but it usually ended up being with people from some other team as well. A chance to just spend an evening with her team was a rare and welcome opportunity.

"It was either drive away in the car or hunt down the few that escaped the mysterious building fire. I'd say they got the better end of the deal." Beryl said as she came back to them. "The shirt is good but, uh." A bit of embarrassment crept into her voice. "It's a bit hard to check how well pants fit when you can't fit your tail through them."

With a raised eyebrow at the phrasing, Beryl slung a leg over the bike and grabbed onto the other woman. She probably wouldn't need it for most of the ride but having something to hold onto for the initial acceleration would be helpful.

With a nod to the others Beryl reversed Ayane's course and leapt over the railing, landing gracefully next to Van Hossen.

"Lead the way."

A siren split the air before the conversation could continue, two loud shrieks that every pilot was required to know at least in passing. Beryl's head snapped around towards the nearest telephone pole and then up at the sky. All levity was gone from her face as her mind raced through the reasons for the alarm.

It wouldn't be a test, system or personnel, not today. Theoretically some joker on base could be pulling a prank but something this big? And on this day? It would ruin the prankster's career at the very least. No, this was real. And it meant that their budding party had ended. Turning back to the rest of the group she asked.

"Think I could hitch a ride with any of you? I took the bus into town and I don't think waiting for one back is an option at the moment."
