Rena looked down at her 'bracelet. "Mine's dark green. The gems are light green and white. I...can't get it off either."

She stood up. "Hello, Annabel. Hello, Laecora. As Fuyuto said, I'm Rena. I don't think any of us have anything on us apart from the bracelets." Her eyes went wide when she said that sentence out loud. "My crossbow!"

She took a second to calm herself, and then looked around the room they were in. "Where are we? Some kind of cell? Where's everyone else?

...I hope they're not..."

She looked at the floor. She didn't have to finish that sentence.

Brief History of House Lister:

Euritia was once ruled by House Eurithon, Who held the crown for countless generations, and fought off every attempt by enemies and rebels to take the crown, but they could no protect their hold on it when one day, over two hundred years ago, a single girl was born, Eva Eurithon. There was no boy. There were no distant relatives who held the surname that she could be married off to. Either by marrying a noble from another house, or marrying nobody, and ending the royal bloodline, House Eurithon was no more. Two suitors were in competition for her hand; Seth Boderoy, and Deckard Lister. Seth was a proud soldier, and the son of the King's Vanguard, and the Royal Family's personal choice. Deckard was of a wealthy merchant family.

The 'War of Eva' lasted three years, with the allied armies bought by the wealth of the Listers eventually defeating the King's army. The last king of Eurithon was slain at the Battle of Wallowmere, and the war ended not long after. Deckard Lister wed Eva Eurithon and became King Deckard the First of House Lister.

Rena finally awoke. She backed up against the wall and took a good, long look at the rest of the room. Three people were talking. One of them was Fuyuto. Rena didn't know the other two. She didn't say anything to them yet. She wasn't ready to talk yet. She tried to recall what had happened in the previous room, but all that entered her mind was death. So much death. And she survived. And there was a burning sensation on her wrist. She looked down at her wrist. There was a dark green bracelet on her wrist, with two gems in it. one pale green and the other white. So it wasn't a dream...

She looked back up at the other inhabitants of her cell, including the two new girls. "Hello," she said weakly.
