Alex sighed in relief at Naisha before standing up as Urick did before looking around. She jogged about the beach, her feet splashing against the water before she found a familiar handle. In which case she yanked it out and held up the hover chair. Shaking it a little to rid of the sand, she set it down and started to roll it as she walked beside Urick as he started walking. Her lips clenching together as her blue eyed stared ahead. She knew she snapped and she went overboard. It's not like Urick understood. He'd never understand. No one would. That wasn't their fault though.

She always had difficulty apologizing. It was hard. Even though it seemed she should do it often.

"Sorry... For snapping at you like that. Thanks for not letting me get crushed. I'm just... Mad. Or bitter. You're the first one crossing the border. And you weren't there when I needed you. It's not your fault, so sorry. You and Gippal are just... Really important to me. I have to thank Nai she was still around. I just wish... Eh forget." Alex said, her words fading as they went on, as if she didn't want to say them. She kept them cryptic, not really wanting her two friends to understand them. They'd just worry.

The red head had several reasons for snapping like that, though perhaps not good ones. She always had to be independent, had to protect herself, survive herself, so being protected now was a smack to her self esteem. Someone like her couldn't afford to need to be protected, especially by her friends. She knew. She would be dependent. She already was. There was the fact Urick seemed only able to talk to her when it was in a fight, and it wasn't usually friendly and it was so... Not Urick like. Yet he was fine with talking to Saina, and he couldn't talk to her when she wanted well needed information. Just pissed her off. It made her think he only thought her... As worthless. Then the other was the reason she gave. Although cryptic. She wondered, what would of happened if Naisha was nearby either? Perhaps, she really would have never seen her friends again. She couldn't help but wonder if they would ask about her.

Deciding not to dwell on the topic, Alex looked to Naisha and smiled. "Hey beautiful Nai-Magester! How bout I get you some nice Hot Cocoa when we get to Kilka? I think we hella deserve it! And tell me I'm awesome for getting you magic floaty chair!" she joked with a smirk and cheerful expression, taking a 180 in order to switch moods and be cheerful or her friend.

Aer! Aer! Post darn you!
Listening to Naisha speak on about her hatred for the Vampire Lord and making it so she destroyed his top desire before making a joyous laugh, made the tall woman slightly stare at her friend in utter wonder. Unsure if she's ever seen her friend act like this. She through temper tantrums, sure, but this was a liiiiittle more diabolical than Alex was used to. Naisha got back on topic and the red head chuckled a bit.

"Well no worries, if needed, we can just build our own. Bet we can make a much better castle than whatever he made." she chuckled before being hugged once again by the Mage. Blinking a little, Alex chuckled and grinned a bit.

"Ya know, if you keep hugging me like this, I'm going to think you think I'm attractive and I'm going to get a annoying ego. Not that I don't enjoy the hugs. Just saying. I feel special to be so loved." Alex laughed jokenly and she slightly ruffled the top of her friend's head gently.

At the title, Alex smirked a bit. "Mhmm so both of us can be Empresses's then huh? Sounds pretty cool." she grinned, watching as Naisha let go as they continued walking.

Humming a little, Alex reached and gingerly locked hands with her friend. Smiling gently. "Yeah. If we're together, we can do anything. And no matter what happens, I'm happy as long as your by my side." the doom knight said tenderly, smiling brightly for a moment before coughing and glancing away, rubbing the back of her head with her free hand.

"Ugh, that sounded cheesy. Don't laugh at me. And hey, I might not need to eat or drink, but I might do it cause I want to. We should totally hit the bar!" The tall woman chuckled.

[no prob ^^]
"Pffft details!" Alex said as Naisha corrected her on terms, sticking her tongue out playfully and childishly before slipping it back in. Her immature nature still around, and her temper was still there, but that didn't come out much when she was around Naisha. She could hardly remember the last time she was actually mad at the Mage.

As the Necromancer explained on her experience with Knights in shining armor and then about the culture of a city's view on people like them, Alex scoffed as she walked beside her friend. "Well, if any holy arse tries something like that with me around, I'll rip their tongue out and punch them in the face." she said with a confident smirk before looking to her friend as she explained about her making a deal with a demon to gain some benefits. In which way Alex cocked a eyebrow in suspicion and worry but the mags answered her worries about the price that she paid. Which wasn't so bad as Alex was worried about.

Listening to Naisha's sight enthusism over the title and possible things they could do, the Doom Knight chuckled in amusement. "Definetly, along our adventure we should totally castle shop for our first castle to rule over. And for someone who's supposed to be my master, you're quite generous in sharing power." she laughed a bit before humming thoughtfully.

"Mhmm The Warrior Queen Huh? That doesn't sound so bad. I could train our army into be the best warriors anyones ever seen to bow and obey our every whim." she grinned as they walked along. It felt a little odd, not feeling tired or sore.. Made her think about her existence for a moment. She was no longer human, nor was even really even alive. Still, as she glanced to her friend, she felt at ease.

"If it's you and I, then I bet we can do about anything." she grinned.
As Naisha explained the side effects, the tall undead hummed a little thoughtfully. "Well, guess that is good. I always chewed our money away because I had a black hole for a stomach. And hey, besides the pale skin and the scars left over, I don't look half bad being this way for the rest of my life. Uh... Undead life." she chuckled before lightly bumping the vampire's shoulder at the joke that was given, smirking a bit.

It felt nice, talking again. Even if it felt like it wasn't that long ago. Alex was glad she woke up with her best friend still around. Even if she was... A bit different. They both were she supposed.

At the hug, Alex chuckled and returned it, listening to the blood raven hair woman's words while pricking her finger against one of the spikes on the armor, causing it to bleed. "Oh really? I remember when it seemed like you always preferred a handsome knight in shining armor to swoop you off your feet. But glad I can be your eye candy for the rest of our time together." she joked with a jolly laugh, poking her friend's cheek teasingly with a cocky smirk plastered on her face.

Naisha then explained about some rumors and things they probably could do and Alex hummed a little, nodding a bit as she released Naisha when her friend pulled away. Lightly tapping a finger against her own pale chin in thought. "Sounds like a idea. I do feel a bit grubby. With Ya know. Being dead and all. A bath sounds good and some good ol' adventuring sounds awesome. So, I shall follow my Dark Empress into the deep unknowns of the world and smash the heads of those in our way to get the shiny stuff." Alex said, wiggling her fingers in feign intimidation spookiness before chuckling. At the mention of feeding, Alex hummed a little. So that meant Naisha still needed to eat basically. But... As she turned into one of those things.. Probably not the kind of feeding Alex was used to.

"So. Take it you eat blood and stuff? I'd offer me buuuuut I don't think undead blood tastes so good. Or would work. That mean I need to go on a kidnapping spree and present Milady with large blood packs?" Alex joked slightly. Perhaps if this wasn't Naisha, Alex wouldn't really agree to such a idea. Ya know, with possibly being responsible to killing innocent people or such. But, Alex had always been known to be able to do just about anything for her friends. Guess that also included possibly murderering people. Mhmm she wondered if that made her evil. Probably, but it was for Naisha and she didn't care in that case. Plus, perhaps the time after 'dying' in Spira changed her a bit. Especially after Gippal and Urick... It hadn't felt the same when they returned, and she felt abandoned. She feared Naisha would eventually do the same, but after they came to this world it seemed like they were closer then ever. So her fears slightly died away in knowing she at least had one friend.
Alex looked to Naisha, blue eyes softening in concern at her struggle before her gaze snapped to Eva at the refusal. "Nai's too tired for a intense battle like this and it doesn't seem your quite used to this kind of thing so you really..." Alex started before the tentacles came down on the ship. She watched as Urick dived for Eva and Naisha into his arms. Alex cursed, quickly leaping, wrapping one arm around Urick from behind, while the other arm grabbed Naisha's chair.

The ship snapped and everyone ended up underwater. Alex struggled in a attempt to pull everyone back above water before reaching for Eva as she slipped away from Urick's grasp but turned her head as she saw a piece of the mast aim toward them. Grunting, she quickly shoved her Urick and Naisha before feeling a sharp piercing pain dive into her left shoulder from behind. Before her vision completely blacked out.

---

Her eyes snapped open, to discover she was once again in the white world. Blinking, Alex looked around to find she was a child again, sitting on a single bench within the world. The only thing colored. A pretty oak color. She sighed as she looked down at her feet, swinging her legs a little before blinking as she looked up to her left. Seeing that blonde woman sitting beside her.

Tilting her head, Alex raised a eyebrow in confusion. "Who are you?" she asked.

The woman simply turned her beautiful emerald gaze on the little girl and gave a playful friendly smile. "Ohhhh a friend. Or maybe a princess." she giggled, causing the red head to stare at the woman in utter confusion before blinking as slender fingers snapped in front of her nose.

"Come come now! Wake up! Or you're going to be eaten~!" she cheered. Alex blinked in confusion more before watching the woman point behind her. Turning her head, she saw a familiar Crimson muzzle and fangs crunch toward her face.

---

Gasping as Alex woke up, the red head tried to sit up but a sharp pain rocketed through her shoulder. Grunting, she turned her blue eyes toward her left to see a large spike of wood impaled through her shoulder. Blood soaking the sandy beach that she lay upon. Looking around quickly, she saw Urick and Naisha, the muscular man seeming to try and shake the Mage awake.

The red head forced herself to heave herself into a standing position. Before grasping the wood and pulling it out, quickly reaching in her pocket and pulling out a potion and guzzling it down. It still hurt like hell, but she felt the magic of the potion mend the wound, surely leaving a heavy bruise and severe sores on her shoulder and arm. Good thing she wore shoulder plates, otherwise that could of been worse.

Tossing the wood on the sand, she went over to her friends, concern in her eyes. "Hey, you two alright?" she asked as she knelt down and placed a hand on Naisha's shoulder before glancing around for the others, yet saw no sign of them.

"Damn. Hope the others made it out alright." she muttered as she glanced to the sea, pondering if she should scout it.

But what about Mercury?

I was going to have Alex to save the Choco's xD... Poor Mercury.

No worries! Mercury is a strong badass bird!
Alex gave a playful pout as her friend scolded her friend scolded her before continuing to wipe at the bloody tears. Frowning a little as her friend explained that it had been thirteen years since Alex died. That long? So many years.. As Naisha listened to her friend explain what happened to her, Alex's frown tightened in both anger, sorrow, and regret. It seemed her friend had suffered so long by herself. Those... Bastards had forced her to be one of them and done ancestors know what to her. And in this unknown world, there was no one she could turn to. No place that felt safe or familiar. Alex always feared of lonliness back in Spira, but it seemed Naisha was the one to suffer years of being alone.

Opening her mouth to say something, she paused as Naisha suddenly pulled out a dark omninous sword. Taking it in her hand, Alex examined it before looking at the bottle Naisha offered and gentle took it, looking at it questionably. "Well.... Guess at least I look pretty decent for a dead person." she said before taking a quick swig and gulped down some of the green liquid. It tasted weird but at least it soothed her throat.

Taking a satisfied breath, she looked to Naisha pondering a little before hugging her close. "Thank you Nai. I'm sorry for leaving you like that and you had to suffer by yourself. Guess you bringing me back blows all the times I saved you out of the water Eh?" she chuckled before looking over herself clad in armor and the sword in her hand.

"Looks like even after all this time, I'm still your knight in shining armor. Alive or undead." she said, releasing her friend as she wiped away more bloody tears before standing, wobbling a little as her legs got used to the sensation.
