"I'm all good. That horse can kick though. Good thing I'm heavily armored." Alex answered her Necromancer's concern as she stood, rolling her shoulders a bit and twisting here odd to make sure everything was fine. It would take time getting used to this body. That kicked didn't hurt even though her mind registered that it should of. She could probably get her arm cut off and not really feel too much.
Walking over as Naisha subdued the demonic horse, Alex grinned as the stable owner questioned them and the tall woman just shrugged. "Mhmm basically. I'm the knight and Miss twinkle toes here is my little Empress." Alex smirked, playfully ruffling the top of Naisha's head before. Nodding in agreement at the mention of going to the sunken tower.
"Sounds good to me!" the Doom Knight grinned before mounting the red horse and started off on their adventure. Val giving a neigh and snort as the large horse trotted along.
The two traveled for some time, only stopping to give the horses a mild break. The sunken tower seemed pretty far, and after a couple of days, they came upon a forest to stop for the horses to drink. Alex dismounted and stretched out her tall body, glancing to Naisha.
"I'll be back. Going to take a look around the area." the red head said before starting to walk deeper into the forest. Her large armor clunking against the ground. Her body probably always was suited for heavy armor, but she didn't used to wear it all the time cause it slowed her movement. But she didn't mind it. Made her feel a bit powerful.
As she walked, she blinked as she took a step and felt something wrap tightly against her ankle and before she could react, she was pulled up in the air. Hanging upside down as her body flailed a bit and she growled curses. "Hey what the hell?!" Alex barked angrily as she reached for her undead sword to cut at the rope that held her ankle before pausing at the rustles in the bushes. Blinking a bit as some women in scantily clad armor revealed themselves. What surprised Alex the most was their height. They were just about as tall as her. The red head couldn't help but stare, having never seen another woman reach her height, especially several.
One woman, perhaps dead even in height, with short dirty blonde hair that was a bit disheveled and carrying a spear and sword. Grey eyes looking Alex over with a unmoving serious look, pointing the spear toward's the red head's throat. Alex couldn't help but think these woman were a bit similar to herselg. Having a wild sort of beauty to them. Perhaps like seeing a wild Chocobo running along the plains freely.
But Alex had little time to think of this as Alex growled. "Hey! Let me down you dumb bimbos!" Alex shouted, snapping her left hand on the spear as she forcefully pulled, bringing the warrior woman foreword only to backhand her. While the right hand raised the undead sword and sliced the rope. Freeing herself as she landed with a large thud before getting up quickly, drawing her newly acquired beast sword.
Glaring all around her at the other women, but they didn't move, seeming to be just watching as the dirty blonde woman swung her blade at Alex who quickly parried with the undead sword. Dodging left as the blonde jabbed with her spear, Alex swung the beast sword horizontally at the woman who jumped and landed her toes on the blade. Moving to jab her sword downward's at Alex's skull. Quickly the Doom Knight slammed her undead sword against the blonde woman's incoming blade, forcing it out of her hand before slashing upward to knock the blonde off balance of her beast sword. The blonde front flipped over the Doom Knight before turning and jabbing the spear just as Alex turned and stabbed both swords forward. Crossing the swords just over the attacker's throat, causing to slight slices over the tanned skin as the spear lightly sliced against Alex's own throat.
They both glared at one another for a moment in that position before the blonde seemed to relax, returning her spear to her side in a vertical position as she stood up straight. Her serious expression still there but there was a hint of respect in her grey eyes and a slight amused smile played on her lips.
"Impressive Sister. What tribe do you hail from?" The blonde woman asked, as the other warriors seemed to nod in agreement.
Alex blinked in confusion at the sudden change of mood, slowly lowering her weapons. "Um... None? I'm just a adventurer." she answered cautiously.
