I just got back yesterday. I went through all of the new posts OOC and IC wise, but didn't have the strength to write something before going to bed.
I'll write something as soon as I can. It's fine if I vaguely go over everything that happened before planet landing so I can go back straight to the action and present time?
I mean, I am leaving tonight and coming back Sunday's afternoon. I basically miss less than 48h, I didn't think you wanted a notice in advance for it. Sorry... Normally one round of post go on for at least like 1 day or 2, so I didn't think I'd miss much.

Also, I just posted and if you guys do a time skip or go on Travel, you can take for granted that (If Kaze accepts) she docks her ship to his and either works on her research during most of the travel, or go through notes again. All be it fast, I already wrote down she agreed on Cassius' idea for a leader so I don't think her direct involvement (as in me, the player) is further needed until we arrive at the planet.

P.S: It's my last LARP of the Summer. Since I am totally no life'ing' the rest of the year, you won't have any other issues with me. :^)
''That would be on mine.'' she said to the marine as she pointed behind her to her ship ''Although, I will probably have to dock it with Kaze's ship. I believe it would be best not to travel space our separate ways. Especially now that we know the X may somehow space travel...''

Amber kept on messing with her notes for a good while before she received a notification of incoming data. Which she immediately opened...only to find more classified Federation information. She could not say she was surprised at the Federation,s decision regarding the eradication of the planet, but it still seemed a little bit extreme. Since no 'cure' for the X, or weapon against it, were found however...what else could they do to ensure safety?

The video footage took Amber by surprise, but she quickly barred the possibility of that entity being the real bounty hunter. It was impossible, for many a reason, that she would have been there at that time. The rest of the data confirmed it. If it was able to make near perfect replica of whole entities...Amber looked down at her protective device they were given. Hidden under her hair, which fell over her as she looked down: a glance of anguish in her eyes. A copy of everything that I am? The thought brought on feeling of uneasiness. The idea of her person being duplicated was scary on more than just the physical level. This entered Philosophy and Morality domain, of which she was not ready nor equipped to deal with right now.

Shaking it off she stood up as the rest of the team made they way into the hangar. She briefly addressed a man working in the hangar and directed him to load her things into her ship and ready it for departure. After which, she turned to David ''Come, let's regroup with the rest.''

As the duo was approaching, she overheard the Tribunal mention that he was ready to accept the title go governing leader. The very moment she got close enough, she answered before the Dragon could ''I think that is actually a very decent proposition. From what I have seen so far anyway.'' then, realizing she cut into a conversation again - for it happened often to her - ''...Sorry to interrupt.''

After the rest of the exchange, she would turn to Kate on what she said on Samus.
''I do not think that is how it would go.'' it almost sounded as if the sarcasm went over Amber's head, but she continued ''While I respect what previous exploits Samus did, I really do, I find it unlikely that she would be unaware of the whole situation in Federation's space. And if she decided not to act on it on her own...well, I will not repeat what I previously stated.''

''Kaze, may I also dock my ship to yours? It transport all of my belongings and necessary material for possible scientific research on the field.''
Since I'm leaving for LARP all week end, I'll get in a post right now. As best as I can.

Yui was about to unleash her attack on the nightmare, hoping it was enough to kill it. However, just as she was beginning her movement, she heard footsteps running behind her and suddenly come to a stop. Only to see a silhouette jump right above both her and the enemy. In one gracious movement, the Nightmare was cut in two perfect half before dissipating in the air with one final haunting and painful screech. As if nothing had happened, the girl turned to Yui: "Are you alright?"

Before her stood what was obviously a magical girl, like herself. Gaia froze for a second as her eyes laid on Luna, as if she was processing what was happening. It hit her fully: she was guided here not by random wandering, but by a bond to a fellow Magical Girl. She could feel it clearly now, and make sense of it.

The energy in Gaia's hand slowly dissipated as she rose back up, not without some difficulty. Getting up and with the threat passed, she realized she was a bit more hurt than she had thought. Still, she could stand on her own. ''I am fine. Thanks for the help. Who...''

Just before she could speak, Gaia felt the presence of yet another magical girl approaching her but also two smaller nightmares trying to get the jump on them - she was not surprised this time. Though, it mattered little as the newcomer dispatched them with ease in a display of her magic. Gaia, still new to this life, was more than slightly impressed by the two girls display of magic. One, because they executed their respective talents flawlessly and with no hesitation. Second, because she had simply never met another Magical Girl before.

''Thank you or the help.'' as she said that, a magical light briefly coated her and, once it disappeared, left behind only Yui in her non-magical appearance. ''Excuse me...but, are you magical girls by any chance? I never met others before...'' Yui said, timidly.

Either it was due to her naive nature or the fact that hey shared something, she felt as if these complete strangers were trustworthy. Almost as if she knew them. ''My name is Murata Yui. N-nice to meet the both of you.'' she said, respectfully bowing before them.

The fact that one of them seemed partially transformed did not escape Yui, but she preferred not to bring it up right now. She was also troubled by what she had said, but knew that it was not addressed to her and left it to introductions for now.
Talking for my character only, my money is on the fact that her opinion might change as they learn more and she learn more about Samus. Maybe through the other characters of the team, too. We'll see.

I think I'd accept the idea of a leader as a last authority on issues that need resolving. Basically, as long as no abuse of authority.

I think it is the questions of what the Vaccine means if the Federation gets it, is what races their Ethics in Question, to where if you were to bring her to the Collective; the group that more than likely would just not let that DNA strand go into the hands of others. Let the dead have their rest.
@CAS1006

Did you talk more in your CS about the Collective? I dunno if it's Metroid's canon and I didn't make research yet.
I myself dislike the idea of a Leader. Big time. Seeing how multiple people have different views on how to deal and treat with Samus, it would almost never work and they could argue for days. I still maintain that the best choice is Cassius because he's the one who seemed more neutral in the big picture.
Kaze has proved since the beginning that he doesn't care much about other's opinion on their shared quest as in he criticized those with different opinions then his, and constantly gave his best effort to have the most attitude as possible. He has the most experience in being a lone Mercenary, not in leading... that,s my opinion on that topic.

Amber, in the end, would never propose herself and also proved she can be hot headed. In the end, she probably wouldn't care too much as long as she can do her research and follow the original Federation's goal of capturing Samus. If the Federation had chose it, she would've accepted it without question.

I know that it's impossible for David to lead for the same reason as Kaze, because he constantly disrespect to the majority of the group and some real bad attitude. Kate has a soft heart, but she seemed kind of Neutral. Vekt didn't speak a whole lot.

Make of it what you want, but it's how I currently see things. x) Could change through characters interactions later on. I still maintain that I don't see why we would need a leader in a hand picked professional squad.

I'll roll with whatever's chose, though.
I should have mentioned it was a way of introducing my character and not an actual fight scene in the OOC. Forgot I only sent that message as a PM to you. ._. @KoL
@Compulsive86 If I was you, since you were standing in the door way, I'd probably have followed Luna when she dashed into the night. Either that, or enter the restaurant and engage with Soma?

Basically, I'm wondering if you guys are going to follow Luna or listen to her and stay in the restaurant. If you decide to stay, on my next post I can make it back to you with Luna. Possibly...From there, it's socialization scene. :)

@Noxx
Seems like he thinks pretty much anyone else than Federation soldiers is bad news. xD
