Bothan Racial Traits:
Streetwise: Bothans always seem to know the way the political winds are turning, no matter the environment they're in, and have a natural knack for getting information from the most unlikely of sources.
Cunning: Bothans minds are far more complex than their casual demeanour would let on, always working the angles to make sure they're in the best possible position when everything falls into place.
Face in the Crowd: Bothans seem to have an innate sense of timing when it comes to knowing when to leave, blending into the crowd just as things start to go wrong.
Enhanced Senses: Bothans have superior hearing, sight and smell compared to most races and can easily navigate in almost total darkness thanks to the sensitivity of their fur.
Furry Grapevine: Bothans have the ability to control their fur in a way that lets them easily signal others of their race, allowing them to secretly pass information even in the middle of a crowd.
Physically Weak: Due to their reliance on stealth and subterfuge, most Bothans are far less suited for open conflict than most other races, delivering weaker blows when fighting in close combat.
Low Pain Tolerance: Due to their enhanced senses Bothans feel pain more easily and weapons designed to incapacitate other races, including sonics and chemical agents, are more likely to cause them lasting damage.
Bothan Spy Network: As part of their cultural heritage all Bothans report back information to their clans on Bothawui, trading intelligence in order to gain prestige and honour amongst their peers and giving them an unrivalled knowledge of events throughout the galaxy.
