Persona biography-
Lars is the son of Grim, hence Grims’son or Grimsson. Born in the northern reaches of human lands he grew up in a strict household. His father is a minor lord and raised his sons, all seven of them, to be warriors. Lars is the youngest of the boys and has been overshadowed by his brothers and father in terms of their exploits and heroics.
The early training of Lars included the rules of the court, chivalry, music, writing, and weapons. Lars also became devoutly religious having witnessed what he believed to be an angel who had saved him from death at the edge of a lake. Lars has become extremely spiritual over the years, praying early in the morning and after every battle, believing his purpose is a bulwark against evil in all its myriad of forms.
After several years training, at the age of 10, Lars become a squire to his older brother Hafjarl, where his training focused more on combat. Lars expanded his training in weapons and in particular, he learned the tactics of fighting on horseback. This was one of the most important aspects of becoming a knight and one of the hardest skills to master. As a mounted knight, he witnessed the awe and respect that people paid his brothers throughout the land. At 13 Lars worked hard on the list where he mastered the lance and controlling his horse in melee, mastering these skills, becoming a fierce combatant on horseback.
Having gained his knighthood as a member of the minor nobility, Lars decided that he had to leave the small lands and explore the wider world. In this, he hopes to gain the honor and fame that has eluded him and made him the outcast among his family.
Lars has been traveling the last seven years exploring and learning the ways of the world, yet that one fleeting piece of honor and glory continue to elude his grasp. He has served in many armies in many lands. His name is recognized among many mercenary companies as a skilled warrior and he takes his knightly oath of largess and compassion for the weak as well as his unyielding faith in his Gods so seriously that he has made a name for himself, sadly though he can’t see this.
@Skallagrim I never understood how the F4 managed to continually fight Doom to a standstill. He's so far away from their tier that they shouldn't actually stand a chance.
Dr. Doom? How about the world-eater himself, Galactus?
The movie sucked. But no a black human torch is not a problem for me. I would have liked to see them stop firking up Dr. Doom though. God how hard is it to make him wear armor and be a freaking bad ass genius ruler of Latvia?
For me it is since I am ranked unless I am just sparring all fights for me are considered ranked events. I understand IN likes to do seperate story events for his hundred thousand characters, which is fine. But in any ranked or a NoW event yeah, transformation is right out.
All he needs is the left big toenail and he will be complete! But seriously, he sounds more like Frankenstein than a golem.
To help get you guys over your fear of transforming, I should start a magical girl arena battle in my setting where magical girls can have additional transformations after the first one as well as some of them having legendary transformations that have various abilities depending on which one. The best suits can be a match for dreamers. At suit level 1, four or so girls accidentally overthrow an entire goblin-like empire by overzealously defending themselves during a lunch break when an enemy patrol ambushed them.
Regardless of what you do it either will be discounted or heavily monitored in the NoW. Transformations as a rule are piss poorly done.
