Current Been practicing drawing for a few months now. Biggest tip I can give so far is copy, copy, copy. It really helps you learn the basics in a very hands on way,

Finally caught up on Rick and Morty. Pretty good shit. It's not every day a cartoon reminds me of my existential crisis.

The Boarder Patrol in Vermont has more important matters than illegal Mexicans. They have to stop the White Walkers.

Skepic: I'm not really sure what to say about a character who just uses normal guns. In part because in a lot of situations, you'd probably get further just sneezing at the villains but more importantly, because there's no real reason for them to be there.

The whole normal guns thing was going to be sort of a comedic situation, something to make fun of that very fact.

For example:

Walter opens fire on enemy, the enemy ninja weaves and bobs through the hail of bullets before stabbing him square in the chest. Walter only sighs and shoves the pistol into the ninja's head, blowing the surprised ninja's brains out. "Ya know, I'm getting really tired of wasting my ammo for it to only come down to this little thing here in my hand. You know how many ninja's I've killed today with just this handgun versus my assault rifle? Fifteen! Freakin ninjas man...."

Ya know, its meant to be a serious flaw. Maybe down the line he picks up some stupid mystical sword that suddenly allows him to be on par with the other ridiculous characters. I just though with the whole "Zombie state" he has, it might be a bit too much to give him some macguffin.

Of course, if your fine with him being undead and having some sort of magical power, then sure, I'll throw that in. I'm, of course, open to the idea, just thought expressing the purpose of knowingly giving him a loadout taken from a more edgy, realistic genre of a game in this land of mecha and wizardry. XD

... Okay, I'm not the GM...

Noted! That's as far as I got anyways. ;)
@Mtntopview

But then how else can you tell he's a sniper? Get your priorities straight man... XD
Well, @Skepic, I read the entire "Gone With the Blastwave" comic.

It's awesome.

Good for you! I think the ending was perfect, regardless of whether it is an actual april fools joke or not.
Also, I love this little Gem of a fanmade comic. The creator posted an empty version on Facebook for people to fill in:

Here is my CS! A mish mash of Never Dead, Spec-Ops: The Line, and..... yeah!

"Never thought a new lease on life would also result in a fashion statement..."
Name:
Walter "Skepic" Aderson
Age:
25
Appearance:
Male, stands at around 5'11, with a medium physical build.... that's all one could really tell, now that he has to wear his equipment wherever he goes.... Probably for the best!
Powers/Equipment:
Weapons- A TAR-21 Assault Rifle, Colt M1911 .45 pistol, M14 EBR, few grenades.... Yeah, got the short end of the stick... no magical weaponry of sorts....

Gear: Just as you see in the image provided, nothing spectacular beyond his facemask providing a small HUD and thermal options.

Powers: He's dead. No really, that full face mask you see in that picture isn't there just for show. He is a walking corps now thanks to that strange object he touched when shit started falling from the sky. This means that if you stabbed him through and through, it won't really matter. Get a leg torn off? A serious inconvenience, but nothing more. However, he is kind of like a zombie too. No, not in the flesh eating sense, but more in the whole head sense. If his head receives severe trauma like getting crushed or blown to pieces... well then he's dead dead.

Luck: For being generally very unlucky his entire life, where Murphy's Law seemed to really be out to get him, once he became undead, his luck has changed dramatically! Or not!
Q:Who knows?
A:Not me.
Q:Who Cares?
A:....

Personality:
Generally friendly and reasonable, Walter is a pretty sociable guy. His wide variety of knowledge from all sorts of subjects allows him to be able to easily start up conversations and make connections with people. Of course, he is also fairly straightforward, no bullshit kind of person, so be wary when trying to argue with him... cause he may just back you into the corner. At his heart, Walter is a skeptical, rational based person who fully invests in the idea of questioning everything around him in his life.

Brief Backstory:
Had some serious issues with his mother, never really got along with her. Was aiming to be a pilot for a career, but the whole "shit hitting both the metaphorical and literal fan" event sort of changed all that.

Other:
He keeps the full facemask and gear on to cover up his dead body. He don't smell, but he's not really looking all to great now. Sounds fine though!

*Kicks down door*

Great! I'm not late! .....I'm not.. right?

CS on the way!
I shall throw my hat in. The second choice sounds good to me! Prepare for straight man comedy and brace for a rational character desperately trying to survive in an irrational world!

Look, I get your whole thassalocracy idea. But I think you're pushing it to an extreme that, I daresay, borders on trollishness. You really want to leave new players/late joiners no islands whatsoever to claim? You really want to forge a world history where people just you take islands right off their coastlines?

Asp, shut it. The issue was settled in PMs, he/she was just letting me know about his new claims.

Welp, in any case, we shall be starting definitely this week, maybe even this weekend. Hopefully if all goes well, we are in for some good fun.
Cool beans milkman

Alright people, we should be just about ready to start. Hopefully in the next day or two we can get going. There will be NPC nations at the start to help fill the gaps, but I will also be leaving some unclaimed land just to allow new players in. the NPCs will be there to fill in the cracks so to speak.

Hey! Is this still joinable?

Yes but we will be starting soon. Just try to get your NS up soon and if its not up by the time we start, don't sweat it, just let me know when you're done and you will be free to post.
Alright, Krauss's post is up, hopefully helping things move along.

Spade, feel free to tell it from Varrot's perspective, ect. I just gave the general movement of the pair.
