In terms of their physiology, they are fairly similar to humans, but with very notable differences. First and foremost is their bird like features. All Valkeryia seem to posses feathered "wings" that sprout an inch above the ears. They also have short, feathered tails and unique dark facial marks on their cheeks. Typically, they have icy blue eyes, but occasionally are seen with orange or grey eyes. Valkyerians have much denser muscles than humans, making them have a much higher average endurance, and stronger bones. Valkyerians also seem to naturally preform better at high, thin air altitudes, where normally humans would have difficulty breathing. When it comes to Alice, she lacks the traditional facial markings and winged ears, considering her mixed human blood being more dominant.

Alice is mainly a fighter pilot for Lacosta, protecting the skies above from outside threats. She flies a AV-766 Fighter Bomber as seen in the background and carries a .45 auto pistol wherever she goes. She is a high ranking pilot due to her natural affinity to flying, being quite the combatant in the air. This, of course, is not to say she's a push over on the ground either.

Considering how advanced technology is at this point in time, are we also allowed the use of spacecraft -- and, if so, how far beyond the planet can we go?

You might want to read up on everything in the OP and look at a few NSs, that should help give you an idea of whats what.

But yes, spacecraft are a serious asset as many, if not, all combatants wouldn't even be able to be here without space travel. That said, I have yet to see anyone go into any depth from the perspective of an orbital battle. So ask around once you get an NS up if your interested to see if anyone might be willing to add a space battle to the ever growing theaters of war.

In terms of distance, we're trying to keep things focused on the planet itself, so, at most, probably some sort of engagement in high orbit to gain control over an area of the planet to provide orbital support. Currently, I like to imagine the space battles are a complete mess with deadly debris clouds drifting in crazy orbits around the planet while warships constantly fight for control over their respective nation's ground campaigns.

In other words, waiting on a one or two more to post before I post mine. It has been somewhat quiet here though, I assume the standardized tests of the US have temporarily diverted time away?

Hanna had barely paid much attention to the boy and her business partner as the man attempted to get the kid back on his feet. She did take note of Harry's body language, quietly citing him under someone to watch out for. A man with a gun on edge will always be a potential threat in her eyes. However, she understood his eagerness to get back on the road. The whole time since they had pulled over, her assault rifle was at the ready, lazily pointed at the kid. She hopped out the jeep, seeing how her business partner just offered the kid a job, it would be a little longer, and wandered over to Harry. Noting him intensely staring down the road, her eyes rested in the same direction. A very fuzzy cloud could be seen, at least a few kilometers away now. She noticed Harry closing one eye, and his robotic eye changing, presumably analyzing the incoming objects. Hanna audibly cocked her weapon, a quiet electric hum now emanating from the gun.

"Well cyborg, it seems if our cowboy here doesn't hurry up, I might actually have something to do today instead of sitting around listening to nothing but Pferdescheiße." She said looking at him with a grin, weapon ready. "I guess this might be your lucky day to see a K99 Todesmaschine in action, ja?" She then turned to the boy and the supposed ring leader of this rag tag group

"Hey Cowboy! Might want to wrap up your saint of the wasteland act, we might end up doing some preliminary looting if you don't. Not that I don't mind, its just usually raiders don't carry anything of use to me."
