John shook his head but didn't argue with Alyssa. "Just be careful and stay next to me," he said. Tanya hadn't texted back and he assumed she wasn't going to. He had to assume she wasn't coming. It was times like this that he wished he had other weapons. He grabbed Alyssa's hand and started running into the school and down the halls. He didn't have much of a plan but he'd think of something. That was when a hydra head snaked around the corner. "Holy shit!" he said as he dived around the corner, pulling Alyssa with him.

Serenity wasn't startled when he said they had something in common. "What? In common?" She asked dazed. How could he possibly know? Then something something seemed to hit Serenity right on the head. They saved my life, why am I so afraid to tell them? Her face flushed in embarrassment. Suddenly Armelia announced Super Boy was the new leader and walked away. In a way, she was glad for the distraction. "Where is she going?" She asked curiously.

"She's going somewhere," John replied as he moved the pasta of the hot stove. He didn't want to mention that she was going off to fight. He didn't want anyone to worry. He turned then to Superboy. "So what happened to suddenly make you leader?" he inquired, an interested look on his face.

John began walking with Alyssa when he heard a rumble. He stopped walking and listened. Another rumble. Shit. He spun Alyssa around and looked her in they eye. "Alyssa, you need to run. I don't know what's here but it's something big. I just know. Run." John said. When you're a seeker for as long as John had been, you came to question everything. And rumbles probably meant something nasty. he whipped out his phone and sent a text to Tanya, telling her to suit up and bring his swords to the school.

John looked up as he heard Serenity's voice. "Oh hey," he said. He was a bit surprise to see her up already. "Yeah I still need to start making the sauce. All the stuff is over there," he replied, gesturing over to a counter. "So. You had a real shitty day today. I'm kind of surprised that you're still here. I think I would be long gone if I were in your shoes."
