Interacting With: The Kim Twins(@Apokalipse)

Charlie's phone buzzed on his desk and he snatched it up, quickly unlocking it and checking his reply from Katalina, curious to see what his friend had to say about everything that was going on.

From: Kata
"It is a long story that I'd have to tell you in person. I was involved, so I'm also at the clinic. If you wanna stop by, I'll be in till tomorrow according to Dr. Okada."

Charlie chewed on his lip, pondering what to say next. It was a pretty cryptic message, one that made him wonder as to what was going on in this town. First he develops the force, and then a dead body shows up. And then, there's a random fire in the middle of the forest. Something was going on in Verona. Charlie had read enough books and comics to know that much.

is it cool if i swing by in a bit?

Charlie hit send on the text and then quickly got dressed, throwing on a hoodie and some sweatpants. His other plans for the day were pretty easy. His mom had wanted him to go swing by the Kim's house and say hi. Dick was a good friend of the Collins and he'd asked if Charlie could show them around Verona, and introduce them to a few people. Apparently he wanted someone who was closer in age to show them around. Charlie had been reluctant, but after some persuading from his mom, he'd agreed.

He looked in the mirror and ran his hand through his messy, dirty blonde hair, swooping it up in the front. He made his way down the stairs and into the kitchen where his mom was dancing around the kitchen, cooking pancakes. "Morning Mom," he said as he took a seat at their kitchen counter, grabbing an apple and biting into it. "Morning Charlie," she replied as she flipped a pancake. "You know, as much as I love you, I believe you're supposed to be meeting the Kim twins soon," she said, shooting her son a knowing look.

Charlie sighed and spun around and out of his seat at the counter. "Okay, okay I'm leaving. I'll be a gracious tour guide and all the like," he said, giving his mom a quick hug and running out into the garage. He hopped into his car, a red VW Beetle, and pulled out of his garage and out into the street. He passed by the other New Verona houses, on his way to the park where he was supposed to meet the Kims. A lot of people were a little confused as to how his mother, a teacher, had been able to afford a house in New Verona, but he wasn't too sure either. His mom said that her family had been filthy rich, although he hadn't met any of them.

As he pulled up to the park he saw the twins horsing around, and he grinned at the goofiness. He hopped out of his car and walked up to the two younger teens, smiling. "Hey, you guys must be Levi and Lucy, I'm Charlie," he said, offering up a small wave as he placed his hands into his pockets.
@Apokalipse Okay will do :)
Anyone in need of a super nerdy and very super sarcastic telekinetic? I'm trying to come up with my next post for Charlie.
I finally got a post up, albeit a garishly short one, sorry it took me so long I've been insanely busy.

Finn smiled at the new arrival. As Oliver introduced them he gave a slight wave. "Nice to meet you," he offered up as he began digging into his breakfast. He read through his schedule, pl was pleased with his results. He had DADA first, which was his favorite class. He'd always done well with jinxs and hexs and the like. He sipped his goblet of apple juice and munched on a strip of bacon before looking up at his table companions. "So what do you all have this year?" he asked, a friendly grin adorning his face.
@kittyluna45 Okay sounds cool :)

Charlie had had an interesting past few days, to say the least. The night of the eclipse, he remembered staring up at the sky from his rooftop, mesmerized. He felt something weird, but he shrugged it off. And then, the migraine hit. Excruciatingly painful, the kind of pain that makes your vision blur. Charlie had scrambled back into his room, where he promptly passed out on his bed.

He'd awoken the next morning, his brain fuzzy. He'd gotten dressed, ignoring the dull ache in his brain from the migraine that had plagued him the night before, and gone to school, where things had started to take a turn. He'd been in Politics, bored out of his mind and having an intense staring contest with his pencil, when it suddenly rolled off his desk. He'd grabbed it and continued the contest he was having when all of a sudden, the pencil flew across the room. Luckily, no one had noticed, and Charlie got up to grab it.

Now, Charlie had always been a wannabe super hero. I mean who hasn't? But Charlie was well versed in how super powers manifested, and he was starting to think that he might have caught a case of the telekinesis, a thought that filled the teenager with fascination. He'd drifted through the rest of the day, anticipating a practice session that he'd already planned for when he got home. And practice he did.

When he got home he scattered a plethora of small objects on his desk, a paper clip, a marble, a pencil, and a pin. He explored the limits to his powers, finding that the paper clip was the easiest to lift, and that after too much use, the power shut off. All in all, he went to sleep that night, confident and rather happy. He was a super hero now after all.

The next day had been decidedly worse. The memorial assembly had dampened his mood, and rightfully so. He remembered the days when John Jackson roamed free. The town was constantly on edge, fearful that they might be next. It had been a tough time. And then, Rachel Lewis' body had been found. And that was even worse. He'd decided to skip the party at the Wilcox's lodge after the grim discovery, instead spending the night at home, practicing.

And then he had awoken this morning to hear that a bunch of his friends had landed themselves in the clinic. He had no idea what had happened and he very much wanted to so, he went to one of the few people that he figured definitely wouldn't lie to him. Katalina Hargrave, fellow nerd. He shot her a text, in hopes that it would be met with a quick response.
