{ROLEPLAY CLOSED] - Through The Pages - Fairy Tale Roleplay (Private/ Invite Only)

Location - The Lodge

After getting settled into the cabin, Charlie and Wendy had decided that they'd spend the day at the ski lodge, where the party was being held the next night. Charlie still had the credit card he'd snatched of the one guy and so payment wouldn't be an issue. The two drove over and paid for the day, but Charlie was left on his own after Wendy spotted some YouTuber who's autograph she desperately wanted. They were teenage runaways, but she still watched YouTube.

On his own, Charlie headed outside, grimacing as his face was pelted with the cold winds of Tahoe. He got a pair of skis and strapped them on before heading over to the lift. It had been quite a few years since he'd been skiing, in fact he'd still been living at home with Wendy. He smiled as he thought of the memory, him with his father and mother and Wendy-well, Wendy's father and mother. His parents were elsewhere, and they were damned good at not being found.

His mind having taken a turn for thoughts he didn't want to think, he focused on the line he was in. It wasn't too long, but Charlie hated waiting, and his foot tapped the ground anxiously. As he scanned the crowd, watching the people around him, he noticed one man in particular, walking with a blonde woman. He looked familiar, but Charlie didn't have time to place it before he was sent up the mountain. Whatever. I'm probably just imagining things.

I feel like Will is going to be with either James or Lucas, as that's where the most drama would lie, in my opinion.

For Brenna, she could be with pretty much anyone and there'd be drama so honestly I can't predict that one.

And for Avalon I think I'm going to be surprised because I have no clue who she'd mesh well with, maybe Carmen or Jessica, as they'd probably balance her out well and vice versa.

Arthur grinned at is father's words, which brought him back to why he was so excited to be here in the first place. While he wouldn't be fighting in the joust, he'd be fighting in the melee, an area where he had much more experience. Now of course there would be far more skilled fighters there, but Arthur was hoping that this tourney would be where he finally proved his worth, and gained a knighthood. Perhaps after that he could hold a title other than Heir Apparent at Caerleon.

Content with his fantasies about the future, Arthur resumed his focus on the world around him. He turned to his twin sister, Casi. "Would you like to explore the city sister? I fear that waiting around has become a bit of a bore," he said with a grin, standing up and extending his arm to his sister to help her do the same. He hadn't been to the city of Windkeep since he was just a young boy, and any memories of the time were locked away with the others that had made up his early childhood, such as learning to talk or walk. For this reason, he'd been itching to truly explore the city since his arrival, and now seemed as good as time as any.
