Webster - Everyone, and I mean everyone, calls him this. It originated in the first grade, when his near encyclopedic knowledge lead to the bullies calling him "Dictionary." He would go on to tell them that calling him Webster made a lot more sense, and sounded much less stupid, and so everyone, other than his parents, call him this, and it's how he introduces himself.
JJ - When he was younger, his parents called him JJ, shorthand for Johnathan Junior. His mother and father will still call him this from time to time, but none of his friends know about it, and he hates being called it.

Webster is tall and lanky, standing at about 6 feet and weighing in at around 160 pounds, all of which he would like you to believe is pure unadulterated muscle. Really it's the opposite, as Webster hates exercise with a passion, and as such, his muscles are minimally toned, and His dirty blonde hair is kept styled up out of his eyes, with more hair product than he would really care to admit. His eyes are a stormy grey, and have a look to them that makes it seem as if Webster's thoughts are elsewhere. Webster's mouth is always turned up in a smirk, one that almost makes him look like he's up to something, but also makes him seem much more friendly, despite his complete ineptitude in social situations involving strangers. While he's tried hard to grow a beard, he can't seem to get past a light stubble, and so he keeps his face clean shaven as much as he can, although it isn't totally unheard of for him to get so wrapped up in a project that he forgets to shave for a few days. His skin is a clear and cream colored, and try as he might, he can't get a tan to save his life.

Webster most certainly does not dress to impress, despite his upbringing in a wealthy household. He wears flannels and band tees, beat up Converse and torn skinny jeans, and that's on a day when he's actually trying. On a lazy day, he opts for a tee shirt and sweats, though his Converse are his go to shoes. However, when he does want to clean up, he cleans up well, a result of his upbringing in a well off household. He prefers to wear blues or greys, and blacks aren't uncommon for him as well.

Webster is a genius before he is anything else. Remarkably intelligent and resourceful, his brains are almost always the first thing people notice about him, a side effect of the unnecessarily large words that he'll sometimes use in conversations. This intelligence kept him out of many social circles as a kid, and left him a rather awkward character. While he acts perfectly fine around his friends, girls that he likes seem to be his biggest weakness, and practically any stranger will have him stumbling over his words. But, despite showing off his intelligence like a medal of honor, Webster is at his core, a caring and supportive friend, who'd do anything for those he cares for.
But, just like everyone else, Webster has a dark side. His IQ has left him arrogant, and he's always confident that he's the smartest person in the room. This arrogance is truly just a mask for his insecurity, the insecurity that's gripped him ever since he was a child. Always wanting to be the best left him fearing he was always second or third best. He can be remarkably sarcastic as well due to his lack of verbal filter, and to those who know him, they know he's just joking, but to those who're just meeting him, he can come off as rude.
Background:
Johnathan O'Connor was a new history professor at Stanford when he met the young, lovely, Aliane Corvus. Well, that's what she said her name was. In truth, she was the goddess of wisdom, Athena, and she'd taken a liking to the professor. Their whirlwind romance culminated in an engagement, a marriage, and a pregnancy, all within seven months. After Webster was born, Athena revealed herself to her husband, and their relationship soon crumbled. Johnathan couldn't seem to handle being with an immortal goddess and this drove a wedge between the two.
From birth, Webster, then Johnathan Jr, was expected to be great. His father wouldn't have anything else. "O'Connors are great," he would say to a young Webster, who would simply look up into his fathers eyes and gurgle, as infants tend to do. And Webster did become great. At the age of five he was reading full on chapter books, and using words far beyond the normal comprehension of a kindergartner. Of course, his father knew where this was coming from, but he refused to tell Webster anything.
From that point on, Webster was enrolled in private lessons after school. He was taught to play the piano, speak Spanish, German and French, and he even dabbled in the violin. His father always made sure he had something to do, and as he got older he desired rebellion more than anything, an escape from the life. And that day came when Mommy Dearest knocked on his door.
When Webster was just fifteen his mother showed up and explained away all the mysteries of his life, such as why his parents had split, and just who his mother really was. He was shocked to say the least, but when his mother suggested he be sent to Olympus Academy, and he's been there ever since, refusing to go home, even for the holidays.

He is able to analyze a situation and figure out the best way to maneuver through it, and while his plans are sometimes failures, they are more often than not, successes.
Can We Build It? Yes We Can! - Webster is a skilled architect and can even understand the layout of a building simply by touching it, due to his mother's status as a patron of architects. When he's touching a building, the blueprints appear in his head and he can study them for as long as he has contact.
Care To Duel? - While many forget Athena's status as a goddess of war, her gifts in warfare have given Webster prominent skills with a sword, and his ability to analyze a situation make him a dangerous opponent.
Crafts! - To go along with his skills with architecture, Webster is a gifted engineer and is always working on different gadgets. While he may not be as gifted an inventor as a child of Hephaestus, given time, he could become a force to be reckoned with.
