The banquet was everything Olivia had imagined. So far it had gone off without a hitch. She talked with Jayanti for a bit, discussed her portion of the race. She'd very nearly ended up a roasted little demigod thanks to Alexander Reisender, though she couldn't hold it against him. He was just so sweet. After talking with Jay, she'd danced around with that seventh year again, although she couldn't help but sneak glances at Vino. Does it make me a lesbian if I think he looks a bit cute right now? she thought as she glided across the ballroom floor.

And then, without warning, her perfect night came crashing down. All thanks to the work of Atticus Caesar, that brute. She pushed away from her date and begin to stomp over there, her chocolate hair bouncing around her shoulders as she held her dress up to keep from tripping. There was one thing Liv hated more than anything, and that was someone ruining her parties. Before she could even reach Atticus, Preston McTavish had doused him in ambrosia and set him alight. Shit she thought as the wave of heat from the flames made her take a step back.

But she quickly regained her senses, and by the time the teachers were working to contain Atticus, she was dousing the fire on him with water she'd drawn out of the air, spraying him all over so as to make sure the flames stayed out, and didn't hop to anymore targets. The last thing the school needed today was a fire to burn down the banquet hall.

Laurel's arrival at the table didn't exactly thrill Webster. He'd hear about the son of Apollo, and none of it was good. He knew that Laurel and Dusty were friends, at least he thought so. Honestly, he had no idea what was going on between those two, but he knew there was something. Webster being very protective of his friends, he wasn't a big fan of the Sun's son sidling up close to Dusty. The snide remarks didn't help either, though in the spirit of the banquet, Webster put on a big smile and turned to Dusty and Devlin. "Hear that guys? Price said no kids allowed! Guess that means I'll be staying home. Which is probably for the best, I mean it's already past my bedtime," he said, rolling his eyes at Laurel and sipping from a cup of ambrosia.

You got through that one without stumbling. Good job, he thought, taking another sip of his drink, and trying not to look as pissed as he really was. Webster had always hated being treated like a child. His dad had done it to him for sixteen years, despite Webster being considerably smarter than him, and all his teachers from his life before had been similar. A rather nasty side effect of being friends with upperclassmen, was that there were always a few assholes around who still treated you like a toddler.

Webster's moping was interrupted by Atticus, who's destruction of their table caused him to jump up, and step back. He watched the scene unfold, eyes darting to each and every person involved, before the teachers stepped in and began to herd them out of the banquet hall, while the rest contained the raging bull that was Atticus. Well, that was unexpected.

Got a post in the works, it should be up sometime tomorrow :) Also got a collab in the works with Legion between Tess and Alex :)
I'm still around, just been busy catching up, which has taken a bit longer than anticipated.

Hey, just to clarify, the teachers have stepped in with the whole Atticus situation, correct? Just trying to figure out where I should put Olivia :)

Sorry, just been super busy. I should be able to post tonight, as I'm finally getting myself caught up on everything :)

Eliza fixed her brother with a cold stare as the older man walked over to begin repairing the ship. "I want that gun," she hissed, quietly so only Oli would hear her. Oliver nodded his head in response, shooting a glance at the old man. "We wait, until the time is right. No need to make any sudden decisions," Oli said, earning a nod from his sister. They both took a deep breath and looked at each other, smirking. "What would Mom and Dad think of us now? Planetside and plotting to steal a gun," Oliver asked. Eliza shook her head, raising her eyebrows and smirking. "They'd probably be thinking that we're the coolest orphans on this planet," she replied, earning a chuckle from Oli.

Just then, the piercing shriek interrupted their conversation, and the twins turned to look towards the source. Before Eliza could say anything, Oli was sprinting towards the sound, and she soon followed. When they reached the girl, Oliver knelt beside her, trying to calm her down, while Eliza looked out into the trees. Her eyes darted each and every way. A few times, she could have sworn she saw something. And then she most definitely did. Eyes, peering back at her from the darkness. "Oli, it's time to go," she whispered.

Oliver picked up the girl, and turned around to see the same pair of eyes that had paralyzed his sister with fear. He gulped, and became still, before turning his head to look at his sister. He began to countdown, whispering, from 3. And when he reached zero, the twins bolted back towards the group at the Auburn Liberty, Eliza leading the way. "PACK UP AND RUN! THERE'S SOMETHING OUT THERE! Eliza shouted, waving her arms like a madwoman.

Location; The Tournament Grounds

As Trystan was thrown from his horse, Edwin wasted no time in making his way through the crowds of people to find the weasel that was Lord Dunkirk. He found the man behind a tent, with a servant girl who seemed none too happy to be there. "Go," he said to the girl, and she fled the scene, holding back tears. She was a strong one. Edwin turned to face the now fuming Lord Dunkirk, and punched him square in the face.

"What in the hell? If you think I owe you any favors after that catastrophe, you're sorely mistaken!" Edwin shouted, his anger bubbling inside of him. Lord Dunkirk looked at him, a look of pure hatred etched across his visage. "I promised you a better chance, not a win. And you will deliver on your promise, not now, but soon. It's not my fault your brother isn't very skilled," the man said. Edwin clenched his fists as Dunkirk strutted away, and then rested his head in his hands. This was not how he'd expected this all to go.
I'm still here! Catching up and what not. I will get a post up tomorrow night, come hell or highwater!
Just got home, but my internet is acting up. Should be working by tomorrow so I'll get to work on relations either tomorrow night or the following morning :)
