N A M E:"Juliet Harriet Lowell. Two L's by the way."
N I C K N A M E:"My friends call me Jules sometimes."
G E N D E R:"I'm a girl. Is it not obvious?"
A G E:"I just turned seventeen. It was a fun birthday. A few friends came over, we ate ice cream. I liked it."
B L O O D S T A T U S:"I'm a pureblood. Ever since that whole thing in England, I feel like people think we're all automatically bigots. Well, at least the stupid people do."

Juliet does not walk like the haughty heiress that most expect her to be. In fact, few people believe her when she tells them who her father is. Her demeanor in public is quiet and reserved. She walks with her head down, and shies away from most people, almost as if she's scared of them. She tends to stand as if she's trying very hard to disappear, and failing miserably.
Juliet's outward appearance in public is always one of someone who cares very much about how they look, despite how obvious it is that she'd rather not be seen. Her long, golden blonde hair is always brushed and curled, thanks to a quick spell she learned in her third year. Her uniform is always perfectly in place, and when she's not in her uniform, Juliet's outfits are very reserved. She hates being the center of attention so she dresses to make sure no one notices her. Her eyes are a blueish gray color, and many have complimented Juliet on her bright smile and infectious laugh, though she doesn't quite agree with those statements.

H O U S E:"Bishop. Doesn't make quite a lot of sense if you ask me, but the Sorting Candle is never wrong."
Y E A R:"I'm a seventh year. Kind of sad that this is my last year."
E L E C T I V E S:"This year I'm taking Alchemy, Divination, and Muggle Studies. All really interesting if you ask me."
B E S T C L A S S:"My best class? Probably Transfiguration, that's what I'm really best at.
W O R S T C L A S S:"I'm really bad at Potions. Like awful. I wonder if Gatsby or Clara could help me?".
C L U B S:"I'm in Charms club, and Dueling Club."
W A N D:Oak wood, 9 3/4, rigid, dragon heart string.
P A T R O N U S:Hare
B O G G A R T:"My boggart takes the form of a crowd of people. I know, a Bishop kid is scared of crowds. Well, that's me. Sometimes it becomes a snake, because those are freaky too."
F A M I L I A R:"Eliot's been with me for three years now. He's the best, really. Sure, he's a spoiled little hamster, but I love him anyways."
P E R S O N A L I T Y:While Juliet's placement in Bishop may come as a shock to her, it makes perfect sense to her close friends. She's fiercely opinionated and incredibly stubborn. It's her way or the high way in most cases, although in most cases, she's right. Juliet also has a deep sense of right and wrong, and is always one to stand up for what she believes in, and speak out when someone is doing something wrong, despite her shy nature.
However, many of the traits that make Juliet's placement seem logical are hidden below a variety of traits that make it seem illogical. Juliet is shy and reserved for the most part, unless in the company of friends or someone who's challenging her beliefs. She's riddled with insecurities, always worried that she's doing the wrong thing, or being rude without trying to. She is a truly friendly person, she's just not that great at speaking.
Perhaps Juliet's fatal flaw is her need to do what's right, even when it's dangerous to her. Despite her shy and timid nature, she's not one to sit back and watch injustice happen, and this has led to more than one detention at SWI. And while her fuse is long, the explosion that follows is massive. Juliet is not one to take offenses lightly, and you can be sure that she'll do everything in her power to take you down. An unsuspecting adversary if there ever was one. Juliet also happens to be rather naive. She's book smart, that much is certain, but her lack of great social skills means that she hasn't had a whole lot of chances to learn the subtleties of conversation, and as such she misses out on sarcasm, and is also easily manipulated.
R O M A N T I C I N T E R E S T S:"Well, I've never really had a boyfriend or anything of the sort. I mean, I like boys, that's not the thing there it's just I don't think boys like me y'know? I don't even have a type, I just want someone nice, who wants something sort of serious."

B A C K G R O U N D:The Lowell name is one of extreme prominence in the American Wizarding World. The family rose to prominence in the 1920's, when Frederick Lowell, an Irish immigrant, came to America and began selling his own type of love potion, Lowell's Bottled Lust. LBL became a hit among wizards and witches of all ages, shapes, and sizes, though a decade after it's introduction it was made illegal by the Republic of Magic. While this set back would have destroyed many wizards, Frederick simply pressed on.
He used is already vast fortune to create plenty more handy potions, some more devious than others, and his family rose to prominence. His great grandson, and Juliet's father, would go on to take over the business, creating even more creative potions of all different types. A rich and handsome wizard, Juliet's father, Patrick Lowell, married an equally rich witch, Marian Kite, and the two soon had Juliet.
Juliet's was raised mostly by her mother, a cold woman who had little tolerance for failure. She pushed Juliet to her limits, and it's made their relationship rather strained. Juliet's father was always quite busy, but when he was around, he groomed Juliet to take over the family business, a proposition that she doesn't exactly view as enjoyable. Her admittance to SWI came as no surprise, and she welcomed the time away from home.
At SWI, she proved herself to be a capable witch, one of the better students of her year, at least in Bishop. She's garnered a few close friends, but she doesn't consider herself popular, though her name does hold quite a bit of weight with purebloods and half-bloods, and even a few muggleborns. Her future is rather uncertain now, which is one of the main reasons she's chosen to take divination. She'd really like to become a professor, but her parents are constantly pushing for her to become the next head of the family business. Decisions decisions.
