John smiled and walked onward with Teddy and Samantha, entering the Great Hall and taking their seats. John looked around and saw that they were some of the first people in. He saw all the teachers, including his mother, were seated and conversing and other students were filing in.
Down below in the Chamber of Secrets, Valerie Black was silent. Ever since last year when that damned ghost had come investigating they'd had to remain almost silent when people were awake. Most of the others just read or slept during the day. Tonight however, Valerie was on guard duty. She was waiting for Skylar Brookes, the Society's mole in the school. She had a plan to keep this year running smoothly and was excited that she would be able to present it. Valerie had often been burned by Anthony in the past, often stealing her ideas to make himself look better. It was fine. At the end of this year it would all work out in Valerie's favor.

When John and Chiron arrived in the Big House he took his normal spot on the right side of the ping pong net. He stared out the window and watched as everyone he assumed Austin would invite began making their way toward the Big House. The others were helping Myra's shabti clean up with most of the Demeter kids helping to regrow the burned grass.
Awwww I shall correct it
John nodded and grabbed the wheelchair. As he walked past Austin he added one more thing. "Keep it with the cabin counselors. And the magicians. And anyone else who seems like they can offer any wisdom. We don't want to freak out the whole camp," John said, before rushing over to Chiron.
John grew excited as Teddy offered Sam a chance to spend summer with them. "You should! It really is a grand time. Everyone stays in the Burrow and we have a Quidditch tournament. Grandma Molly always forbids Uncle Fred and Uncle George from bringing pranks home but of course they do. And Uncle Harry is way more fun when he isn't being all imposing and scary as Headmaster Potter," John said laughing. He smiled and jumped down from the carriage as it reached the castle. He saw a shock of lavender hair behind a pillar. Was that Juneberry? Whatever. John brushed himself and offered his hand to Sam to help her down. His mother would have hexed him if he hadn't. His father probably would have said that she was cute and then his mother would hit him and laugh. Typical life in the Weasley-Granger household.
John stood up, yawning and rubbing his eyes. He shook Austin awake before facing Ian. "I think we need a meeting. I don't know how in Hades that monster got through the borders but we need a solution. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a quest handed out," John said, crossing his arms and chewing his lip, a habit he had adopted that signalled that he was thinking pretty intently. He suspected that the giant's attack had something to do with the rumors of godly chaos up on Mt.Olympus. His mother had only mentioned it, but it was enough to know that Hecate was missing, maybe others.
If I recall from my knowledge of the Kane Chronicles, an Eye is a wicked powerful magician since their able to channel a god's power. Seeing as how Myra is the children of two Eyes it's not unlikely that she could be super powerful.
John had always been wary of magic. He didn't trust it and he really didn't like it that much. So when he felt drowsy and saw the ground rushing up to meet him, the first thing that came out of his mouth was, "Gods damn you Myra," and then he fell asleep.
John nodded. "Austin and I will go grab it," John said and rushed towards the Big House where he saw Chiron's wheelchair resting. He looked over his shoulder to see if the son of Zeus was following him.
John looked at Chiron with compassion. "It's gone Chiron. Myra sent it to the Duat. What about you? Are you alright?" John looked at his mentor with worried eyes. Chiron had been his first friend at camp unless you counted Tate. The fact that he wasn't getting up worried him. John knew he was immortal but who knew what was going on with the world right now.
