The idea is to have a teen role-play (aged between 15-17), based around teen debauchery. As someone born in the UK, watching American TV shows about teen life is really, really cringe worthy. It's never dark or raunchy enough and doesn't hit home hard on the hard topics that so many of us went through in our teenage lives (there's no denying it). Now, this is going to be a particularly dark teen life RP, R rated topics will include; drug & alcohol use, mental health awareness, bullying, teen violence, crime, sex, death and the list goes on, so if you're not comfortable with any of the above then I'm afraid this role-play isn't for you and you can stop reading right about now. For those still with me you may be thinking, who are we playing? and where? Our characters are from your typical council residency (or someone trying to fit in with that clique), attend a public mixed school. They're not all bad eggs, so don't feel like you have to play a delinquent but of course a role-play like this would expect to warrant a couple of characters with a high level of delinquency.
Life isn't all about school however, and a lot of you probably don't spend much time there anyway. This role-play isn't focusing on school it's the main reason I didn't include it in the genre tags. While there will be some things driven along by minor plot it very much remains in the background of this role-play and is more to simply move things along. The bulk of everything that happens in this role-play will be down to character interactions, choices and personalities. Everyone welcome to have their own character's plot and mixing with others, seeing how it changes things.
I could ramble on more but I feel like anything else to be said has been said before and were all teens once, right? Hope to see a few of you latch onto this and let's make a hell of a story together!
Welcome to Barking & Dagenham, where you've got to make a decision, leave quickly or stay here forever. London city is known for its rough boroughs as well as its attractive tourist qualities. Dagenham is one of those places that they won't take you to on a guided tour. Recently taking Hackneys nickname 'murder mile', most residents of Dagenham will tell you one thing and one thing only... It's a shithole! Seriously. Dagenham is a diverse working class area, owing in part to the influx of African, Asian and Eastern European migrants, at the time of the 2011 census, the white British population of Dagenham was 49.5%, with the largest minority groups considering themselves Asian British and Black British.
Our role-play will mainly revolve around this borough although of course no one is stopping you heading other places. While school will be a part of this it will not be a major part.
1. As this role-play revolves around mature topics, all players must be 18+ to join, sorry younglings not going to go back on that one.
2. I'm no grammar Nazi when it comes to other peoples writing, we all make mistakes and I know that but I do expect a decent level of writing and the ability to not fall into one liners or one paragraph posts that move the story nowhere.
3. All guild rules apply, yadda, yadda, yadda.
4. As this is a slice of life role-play, realistic characters is expected. No manga/anime pictures puh-lease!
5. Romance is PG-13 and then fade to black/PM.
6. Read this. @Lady Amalthea's etiquette guide is one of the better ones.
7. Put the word 'crab-apple' in the 'other' section of CS so I know you read these.

@zorogami aha! Yeah it's pretty ironic alright. Sorry lads and lassies it's just work has been hectic since I finished exams and when I have downtime I just smoke one and get some rest, but I will be posting soon.
