So I know, we are allowed multiple characters right? And Im assuming laguz that aren't in Chalice wont be playing a main part yet?

Hrmmm, one more question- are the classes as gender specific as they are in the Games? No Female Barbs/Fighters/Pirates? No male Pegasus Knights?

Pegasus Knights are the only gender-specific class from the list (restricted to female), other than Bard/Dancer and Priest/Cleric. Ill allow characters like female Fighters and Pirates, though they may not be as prevalent as males in those classes would be.

The other thing would be Troubadours also being male and female, though their promotion routes are gender based: Valkyrie for Females, and Mage Knight for Males.

It began with a spark.

Intent, carried by motivation. Ideals, ignited by passion. The continent of Pyrgos was not always divided into the two dominions of today.



Once a land unified under common principles, mankind became unkind. The blood of brothers soaked the very confines of the world as society waged war with itself, threatening the complete destruction of progress. With their conventional weapons, Beorc hunted one another ruthlessly as the Dragon Tribes of the Laguz attempted to quell the violence, whose efforts only accelerated the genocide tenfold.



But this disaster would not go unnoticed.

The Great Purge came faster than the spark itself; the gods, known as the Creators, were unforgiving of the atrocities that mankind, once their beloved invention, had committed. Their judgement was swift and severe, as all punishment would be from then on. Almost all life on Pyrgos was swept away by their power, except for the purest of hearts. The entirety of the Dragon Tribe was exiled into the rifts of limbo, their fury never to be witnessed again.

For those who were spared, they went their separate ways and drew their borders, establishing the three original nations of Cliace, Vuscar, and Rakaan. With the goal of preventing such a blasphemy, the founder and first emperor of Cliace, Ffænir, declared the lands accompanying his empire as an independent separation. In agreement, King Horus of Vuscar constructed the Great Divide of Pyrgos, officially creating the Western and Eastern Separations of Verus and Priscus. The Laguz of Rakaan, wanting no part in the decision to segregate the land, maintained their neutrality.



In due time, civilization crawled from the pits of those dark days, and rose from the ashes. Mankind had learned its lesson; progress made way for the birth of several nations, and for many millenia, the Creators' will was upheld as a sacred testament.



Though, the intent and ideals of a single man stand divided between the preservation of these ancient vows, threatening the resurgence of Pyrgos' past transgressions.

Post them here first, please. I'll then check them out and after approving them, you can post them into the Characters tab.

Right now, our characters will be grouped up (members of the regular army or volunteers which can be ordinary people with some experience or mercenaries, be flexible) to be sent to stop the rebellion in southern Cliace.

As of now, the Eastern Separation has no involvement, and Emperor Deacon is trying to contain the conflict within Cliacian borders so it doesn't spill over to Kadrein.

I also posted a bit of Pyrgos' history as the first post in the IC. :)

Also forgot to mention once more.
Forgive me, my mind is kind of fried after typing all of the OOC in the last three hours.

You can create a character for Part I who can see through all of the parts of the roleplay, or you can have them not be present for like, Part II or III, then make a reappearance. Can also make a character just for a part, and then, not show them ever again, or whatever.

I actually just forgot to add that to the character sheet after being reminded by Twilight.

It doesn't necessarily have a huge impact, but the general aspect of, let's say, Silver being stronger yet less durable than Iron, does exist. Likely, I'll leave it up to you to keep track of what weapon/items your person carries and the status of the weapon(s).

To answer some potential future questions, the "Great Divide" is a line that, well, divides the Western and Eastern Separations. People are allowed to move between the two separations freely, at this time. :)
